Chapter 65 - Life force

Many soldier pissed themselves in terror the moment they felt his killing intent, and some of them even fell unconscious. Despite the chaos, Caelum continued to release his killing intent, filling the entire training area with it.

Caelum hardly reached a satisfying level of killing intent, however, he added his Haki to increase the pressure terrifying them. 

'I-Is he the same person from earlier!?'

Irene couldn't stop her body shaking from fear, and her body quickly became soaked in sweat. She isn't directly affected yet the killing intent and pressure reminded her how yesterday showed his might. She had forgotten everything because of his charisma. 

Eventually, Caelum had to lower the amount of killing intent he was releasing, as too many Soldiers were falling out too quickly, which would make his training less effective. As for his killing intent, most of them were from countless slaughter of bandits and when combined with his Haki made it even more powerful. 

He wasn't even trying to kill them and merely testing their ability under pressure. Caelum emanates miasmic red killing intent that it almost appears visible. 

Few minutes later, the rest had passed out while only a handful were able to take a step forward. Caelum smirked seeing them moving ever closer only to pass out and everyone failing. He already expected this to reach out his hand and restore their stamina to wake them up. 

They woke up distancing themselves from Caelum terrified after what they had experienced. He was disappointed that only few remained capable of facing him. 

"None of you passed today. From now on, I'll be training all of you and turning every last one into a fine warrior!"

Caelum appeared like a demon towards them and spent the 2 hours of teaching on how to properly fight as an individual and as one. They were beaten down until passing out once again and healed by Caelum. Everyone had the same thing in their mind and that he was "Demon". A trait that would pass down to his child.

Irene had watched them throughout and couldn't help but pity seeing how brutal Caelum was when training the soldier. He refused to tone it down knowing each and every way in training them. His brutal yet it was pointed to all their weak points. Caelum was not only training them but teaching himself as well and understanding what he lacked. 

"Alright remember what I taught you and we will continue tomorrow."

None were looking forward to it. They were healed but the memory was not removed. Caelum turned his attention to Irene who sat in the side watching them throughout. 

"I'm sorry if I appear a bit brutal. However, this is for the best. This kingdom may be at peace does not mean it should stop them in preparing for war."

Irene was silenced since she was naive when it came to acting as a queen that would benefit her kingdom. She was far too kind for her own good and acted soft to her people. Caelum sat beside her to take a break from training and look at her having an inner turmoil. He softly smiled then patted her head, surprising Irene who turned towards him.

"Relax, it's fine to be kind but know when to be strict. That aside, do you want to continue traung your magic?"

"I-I am but you just sat down. It's best if we wait a few minutes."

Caelum nodded, enjoying the few minutes beside her where she started to wonder what kind he truly is. His both gentle yet tyrannical that she doesn't know which one was real. She was confused why her heart was compelled to know him and be with him. 

Few minutes later, the two stood up with Caelum guiding her on how to apply the magic into the world. She seems quite talented at using Enchantment magic that it didn't take long for her to apply it to physical objects. Of course the magic is a lot stronger that it could enchant the Ethernano in the surrounding to create explosions. 

'How powerful would it be if I tried applying other energy with the magic?'

The destructive power it could hold was enough to up a small continent by his magic. Caelum nodded to himself in trying them later and watched as Irene continuously used her magic.

"Why don't we have a little spar? It would help you use the magic in a fight much easier."

"Alright, I'll try my best."

Caelum stood with his hand behind his back while Irene took an iron sword that was enchanted by multiple boosts. She even added one into her body and made her strength much stronger. He nodded and would try to teach her dragon slayer magic when he managed to recreate it. 

Irene took a deep breath before moving in tremendous speed, shocked at how light her body felt while Caelum remained unfazed only smiling and tilting his head avoiding the incoming blade. She frowned that he was able to dodge her attack but didn't stop and did a consecutive thrust that he merely evaded every single one. 

Caelum then started to use his hand hitting the points that show weakness that Irene gradually improved in the way she fought and in the end laid on the ground panting from overusing both her stamina and magic. 

"You've quite talented taking my lesson like a sponge."

"T-Thank…ha…you….I didn't…to be this…tired."

"Well it's your first time depleting your Magical reserve. It take time until you get use to it. Here let me help you."

Caelum reach out to help her while still struggling to stand up yet blush when she realizes that his hands and wanted to remove but unable to. Meanwhile, he notice the emotion flooding into him and inwardly chuckle. They sat down to rest for few minutes until heading back to the castle halls. 

"Would like to take a bath? I was planning on doing the same but I'll let you be the first."

"No need, I'll let you be. I'm not as dirty compare to you and it would leave a bad taste to let a beautiful woman wait."

She hit by his words becoming flustered while Caelum enjoy how adorble looking at her reaction. Irene couldn't take it anymore and quickly excuse herself heading to the castle bathhouse leaving Caelum to just explore the kingdom. Caelum vanished and appeared at highest place in the kingdom looking at the people below. 

He looking through the eyes of his clones who explored the world and trying to find ancient ruins and books to learn magic. Caelum let them be and head to the Grimoire to try to reap what he had learn to that day. 

'I was damn fool….I've been caught up trying to learn magic that I had neglect Ki energy.'

Caelum understood that Ki energy from black clover was different yet similar enough that he aim to try to change its property and use the energy into his physical prowess. To his understanding from other series like Dragon balls. Ki is also known as "latent energy" or "fighting power," which directly translates as "life force."

This force is a tangible energy inside every living being, with its major focus being in the center of the body. By drawing it out, an individual is able to manipulate it and use it outside the body. Ki can be used for many different techniques.

Because there are physical limits to the strength of the body itself, it is necessary to increase one's ki to overcome this barrier and become stronger. Usually, the more concentrated the masses are, the more time the user requires to draw it out by powering up. When fighters gather ki, they are able to gain enhanced strength, speed, endurance, and can increase the power of their attacks to inflict greater damage to opponents.

Normally, the more the ki is increased, the harder it is to control, so ki control is also important. Maintaining proper balance between the body and spirit is important in utilizing energy, and the more properly balanced they are, the more energy you can project. 

Ki is energy that encompasses physical or rather Body Transformation. Caelum suddenly started to change it and tried to look deep into his body trying to grasp the Ki energy. He didn't take long when there was something flowing through his body much faster and stronger than the other energy. 

Magic is all spiritual concentrating in elements and manipulating the natural laws of the world while Ki is purely physical prowess. The stronger the Ki, the harder magic to affect a person. 

'Lets try using [ Dream energy ] to draw out the Ki.'

The [ Dream Energy ] has the power to turn impossible to possible. It may sound powerful but the mastery over the energy was not easy. Sapphire who had return to her home had taught him on how to utilize it before leaving. 

Caelum removed the flowing Aether from his body and made the Ki the dominant energy that flowed through his physical body. He could feel his muscle growing nourished by the Ki energy. It took a hue of pitch black color that burst in vigour. 

[ You have acquired Primal Genesis Ki ]

A powerful flaring aura shimmering from his body feeling the vigour of his newly acquired energy. He felt that something had clicked and perfectly placed the missing pieces. It made him realize that he had thought opening the [ Eight Great Meridian ] needed to be Aether or other energy but found that Ki was the most suited. 

Caelum's body had settled down and adapted to the new energy. He held out his hand and produced the black energy that was his [ Primal Genesis Ki ]. It was extremely potent that his body felt like burning inside trying to maintain the energy. 

'I have yet unlocked the other [ Eight Great Meridian] yet my power has already reached this far.'

He decided to get his body used to the energy by pushing his limits, casting a multilayered barrier using the [ Unlimited Imprisonment ] skill. It would be unfortunate if his family were affected by the aftermath. 

Caelum appears more towering than before and vanishes into thin air. He started to distort time itself from continuously moving in unbelievable speed with strikes that seem to shatter space itself. The [ Primal Genesis Ki ] seemed to have awakened something within him and that was pride as warrior and fighter.

He does not have a Saiyan blood yet his other race called Source started to waver and affect him. Caelum's strike had overwhelmed his skill and shattered the barrier leaving him standing at a massive crater. 

'That was a great work out!'

Caelum thought to himself before finishing up his training and headed back to his family.

A few months had passed, Caelum involved had been announced to the citizens demonstrating their queen magic and their chances of winning against the rogue dragons. The army had improved exponentially turning them into capable mages. They all came to appreciate all the brutal training that Caelum put them through.

Caelum's relationship with Irene had grown closer to intimate having less embarrassing moments. He knew that he was close to capturing her heart or at least enough for Irene to confess, however, she was too occupied with the recent news of dragons had terrorize other neighboring kingdom including a unfortunately one that led by a man name Rung.

He didn't know why but when the name was mention felt anger and joy that he had died with only the kingdom fighting trying to stop the dragon terror. 

'Guess I should finally join in the fight and reveal my form.'

Caelum was listening to Irene who was eating a strawberry cake that he personally made for her. She seems to enjoy it and always asks for more. He didn't mind since it made him happy to see her enjoy eating.

"Caelum I have an idea and it sound stupid but."

"What is it? I might be able to help if you tell me."

"I want to create a magic called Dragon Slayer."
