Wardrobe Change

The Dole Stone was owned by none other than Yeltsin, the tailor/ barkeep. Kiro learned all too quickly that this man didnt have eyes for Leda, but rather liked grabbing things while measuring Kiro.

In the end, Kiro had to admit the clothes fit really well. The pants fit extremely well and the tunic was soft a breathable. The outfit was mostly black like his suit had been but the over vest jacket was long and white.

"If you're looking for work with that sword, you should go to Harverest. The main help post is there along with the bounty Hunter's guild." Yeltsin informed finishing the last touches on on Kiro's boots.

"Which way is Harverest?" Kiro asked trying on the belt up boots. He really liked the design.

"If you follow the southern road, it'll take about two days to get there. Also, Are you sure I cant help you more? Those herbs you gave me are rare and worth much more than this." Yeltsin asked giving Kiro a good look over.

"This is great actually. I'm glad you liked the herbs, but this is plenty. Thank you, Yeltsin." Kiro went to the room where Leda had already chosen one of the two beds and was sleeping soundly. He decided to follow her example.

Morning came blinding as Leda pulled the curtains back. Kiro cursed as he pulled the covers over his head.

"You weren't planning on sleeping all day were you?" Leda's cute voice had never sounded so annoying before.

"What time is it?" Kiro asked barely peaking out.

"Nearly an hour after sunrise." Leda complained. Kiro grumbled once more before sitting up and glaring at the wolf girl. He took a breath and decided he might as well learn to get up early around this girl.

"Going to Harverest!" Toma jumped up on Kiro's shoulder for his breakfast.

Leda gathered their things while Kiro went to talk to Yeltsin. The barkeep was near the kitchen with his newly dyed purple hair and bright blue clothes, he was a bright contrast to his darker inn.

"I wanted to thank you again, Yeltsin." Kiro said pulling out a few coins.

"You're a sweet, boy. Tell you what, when you get to Harverest, look up my cousin at Bow & Tie. His name is Arksis and he'll put you up for a bit if you tell him I sent you."

Kiro explained to Leda everything as they left the inn. The whole time, Toma switched ears often.

"What is wrong with you?" Kiro grabbed Toma angrily.

"What do you mean?" Leda asked looking worried.

"Not you! I mean... Give me just a minute." Kiro ran into an alley to speak alone with Toma so he didn't look so insane. "Now, what's wrong?"

"I don't know. I feel funny. I can't take any mana from you." Toma looked up at Kiro with big teary eyes.

"What can I do?" Kiro asked holding Toma more gently now.

"I don't-" Toma was cut off as his body started glowing. Slowly, Toma's form changed and expanded until he was about the size af a large house cat. He finally stopped glowing and Kiro held the fox to him carefully.

"Toma?" Kiro asked gently petting his ears and smiling as thd ey twitched. He hadn't realised how attached he'd gotten to the little spirit.

"I feel better" Toma said wagging his fluffy tail.

"I know you said you needed a minute, but I was really getting worried." Leda said as she stopped at entrance of the alley. "Is that a spirit fox?"

Both Toma and Kiro just stared at her.

"You can see me?!" Toma asked excitedly.

"You are a spirit fox!" Leda shouted running over and running her fingers through his fur. "So soft!" Leda picked Toma up and cradled him in her arms.

"I like this, master." Toma smiled wagging his tail. Kiro calmed himself and smiled. He didn't feel nearly as insane if someone else could see Toma as well.
