85 Cultivation Rooms

Ryan left the academy and made his way to the outer city. He didn't bother to try to even look for spells in the inner city, he was pretty sure it would be more expensive than the outer city.

Once he made it back to the outer city, he asked around for places that sell spells. It was easy to get directions while wearing the academy uniform, everyone treated him kindly.

In 2 hours he had already been to 4 different places.

Sadly 2 of the 4 places didn't have any defensive lightning spells. The other 2 places only had spells similar to lightning wall and lightning skin. Ryan was planning on trying one last place before just buying the lightning wall spell for 300 mana stone.

The place didn't have a name, it was just a little shack on the side of the road with a bunch of random things on its shelfs. He was told this place have a few lightning spells for sell.

Ryan walked up to the guy that was the owner of the shack and asked about lightning defensive spells. He brought out pretty much the same 2 spells he keep seeing with slightly different names. Ryan was starting to realize people have the tendency to only recreate spells they already seen and not make brand new ones.

"What spell were you looking for." The guy asked seeing the disappointment in Ryan eyes.

"Just a lightning element defensive spell that can block attack spells." Ryan replied.

"You do know that lightning element is not a defensive element right, you can't expect to fine many defensive spells." The guy said skeptically looking at Ryan.

"The lightning shield may be slightly below average at blocking attack spells, but its better than nothing."

"I know but I feel like people should be able to create more than these 2 defensive spells by now. It don't make sense to me that I keep seeing only these same 2 spells everywhere."

"You try making a spell, it is not as easy as you would think. When I had attempted to make a spell, i had injured myself pretty badly. It took over a month to recover. That was me just trying to modify a spell, and not to create a completely new one from scratch."

Hearing the guy words made Ryan realized, making his own spell is a option too. He subconsciously ignored the part about getting injured.

He should have enough merit points to spend on a classe for spell creating, plus he got a different variation of lightning.

His lightning is not destructive, so there was a high chance that using one of these spells, would be less effective than normal.

With thoughts of creating his own spell, Ryan decided to head back to the academy to take a look at the classes. The skynet loses majority of its capabilities when not in the academy formation, so he couldn't search up anything on it.

He found a random table to sit at and went through all the courses that have something to do with spell creating. There was a good amount of different people teaching this same subject, so Ryan had a hard time picking a class to take.

He tried to look for the ones that people pick the most but the reviews was like half good and half bad. It made it hard to tell if it would be worth it, most spell creating class was around 100 merit points a hour. It was really expensive and he didn't want to sell anymore demonic apples. He felt like it would be better to just use them on his self.

After spending over an hour looking and reading through his option he finally decided what to do.

Ryan made a plan to take a course called Introduction to spell creating, for 2 hours. It cost 100 merit points, the description said he would be going over things to know before getting started with spell creating.

The other course Ryan chose was called Spells Creating questions/answers, for 1 hour. It cost 120 merit points, and the description said you can ask any question that is pertaining to creating spell for an hour.

He will see what class to take next, after taking those 2 classes. Right now he don't know anything about spell creating, it may not be the best time to start learning. He can't really afford to injure himself for more than a month like that other guy.

After scheduling his 2 classes for tomorrow Ryan went to go check out the cultivation rooms that are in the academy.

He had wanted a secluded space to eat the demonic apple and cultivate. Cultivateing where he sleep at is a no go, he can't even call it a room. Ryan already made up his mind that, the first thing he is doing once he rank up is challenging a person for there private room.

Ryan made it to a building that was only 4 stories tall, that had the words Cultivation Rooms on top of the door. Next to that building was another building that was shorter but wider, that says Training Rooms.

Ryan realized cultivation rooms is probably strictly for Cultivating. Than again it should be common sense to think that.

Ryan went in, and it was just a lobby type area with a student Cultivating behind the desk. His eyes opened up as Ryan came in, and Ryan walked over.

"I was wondering how much it cost for a Cultivating room." Ryan asked once he made it to the guy.

"Lower the floor, more it cost. Its start at Floor 50 and it cost 5 merit points per hour. Floor 49 is 10 merit points an hour, Floor 48 is 15 merit points an hour, Floor 47 is 20 merit points an hour, and so on. The reason why it cost more the lower you go because, each Floor will have more mana in it than the next. Its some kind of formation doing it." The guy said in a lazy tone, you could tell he had this same conversation many times.

"If you want to spend less than 5 merit points then just pick a room that is up stairs. It won't have any difference in mana from normal. It just a place to quietly Cultivate."

Ryan didn't spend to much time thinking and picked a room on floor 50. He was planning on eating the demonic apple that suppose to have more mana than he could handle, so it would make no sense to have a room with more mana. Ryan would of went to a room up stairs but he felt rich at the moment and didn't mind wasting a little.

"Just tap your skynet here and walked through that door. Walk down the stairs case to the floor you want to go to. You already pick floor 50 so you won't be able to unlock any other floors. It pretty easy to tell the floor, on the door you will see the floor number. Tap your skynet again on the door and it will unlock. Pick any room on that floor to cultivate in, if there a formation up on the door that means someone is in it."

"Stay as long as you like and to leave the Cultivating room just tap your skynet on the door. That is when it will charge you the amount of merit points for staying there. And don't try to be smart in Cultivate in the hall, there was other students that had tried that before. For every 10 minutes it take you to pick a room or leave the floor after paying you will get charged an extra hour." The guy said as he waved Ryan to start heading to his room.

"Oh yeah, you should know what happens if you go in the negative in merit points so always keep track of the time. There is a timer in the room you can set to help you keep track."
