Chapter 1Chapter -1 Worse than a calamity

Just like any other day the roads were full of vehicles and people were rushing to their work. Just like any other day this day also seemed to be normal but...

...It was anything but normal.

Little did they know that a calamity was on its way, toward the extinction of humans.

Calling it a calamity wouldn't be right. It was

-Worse than a calamity

***

The most powerful quake ever recorded was a magnitude 9.5 temblor in Chile in 1960 but today they observed the first ever magnitude 10 earthquake.

The sky also started turning red with its clouds turning grey.

The magnitude kept on going higher and higher causing the tectonic plates of the earth to move which was their greatest fear but they had another fear which was equally as dangerous as this situation.

-Crack

-Crack

A crack. The crack that appeared in the sky. The crack in the sky increased as the days passed.

And that was not it.

-Drip

-Drip

As the crack grew wider a liquid that was as red as blood started to drip from it.

No one knows why these phenomena were occurring or what would happen to the earth. Some believed that the earth would end and some thought that this was all the doing of the devil while some said this was the judgment of God.

But one thing was common in all of them. The ominous feeling in their heart.

As the days passed the ominous feeling in them grew even more.

And finally, the fabric of the space completely tore apart through which a tower fell.

A gigantic tower that probably had more than 90 floors in it.

The descent of the tower caused an earthquake of magnitude 15 which caused the tectonic plates to shift at an even faster rate, causing the clash of all even continents and giving birth to a supercontinent called Pangaea

The whole world would remember this day. More than half the population of the Earth died.

Humans thought that this was the end of the natural disaster but little did they know that this was just the start.

After that day many portals started appearing throughout the continents, through which unimaginable creatures evaded the earth

Some were peace-loving creatures like elves and dwarves.

While some were war-loving and with heavy blood lust like demons vampires and werewolves.

Modern weapons were completely useless against them.

As if they were not enough for some reason animals on the earth turned into mindless beasts with heavy bloodlust who would kill anyone in sight.

One might think that was the end of the human race but it seemed that luck on their side hadn't completely run out.

The day these creatures evaded earth a screen appeared in front of the humans.

[Status]

Each individual above the age of eight gained this status screen which was visible only to them.

They all learned how to use mana which was a great help to humanity.

***

It has been three hundred years since the great war 2 which was fought between all the intelligent races living on the earth.

The main goal of the battle was to eradicate each and every demon living on the earth.

Demons were so strong that only one demon general was leading the army but still, they almost defeated all the races on the earth.

Another reason for their almost-gained victory was that vampires werewolves and some other races were helping demons.

Elves orcs dwarfs and some other races which were fighting against demons were not able to kill each and every demon but they successfully forced the demons to leave the earth.

But demons gave a warning before leaving that one day they would return once again with their demon king and their twelve generals.

But it has been three hundred years and we haven't even seen a single demon since then.

"Danm! Finally, this boring class is over."

Looking at the students in the class the history teacher could only sigh.

"I don't know when this young generation will realize the importance of history."

As he was looking at his students who were happily dashing out of the class his eyes paused on a certain individual.

Jet black hair, pale skin, and sparkling green eyes would remind some of the sparkling emeralds.

Overall the student had an attractive face but wasn't that handsome that would make other girls run for him.

Thy unique and unusual thing about him was his emerald green eyes.

'Chris.'

Chris was the one and only student that would pay attention to his class no matter what.

His eyes squinted as he saw Chris approaching one of the female teachers.

'Were the rumors about professor mia and Chris dating true?'

He was worried about his student but if they both were dating then he couldn't stop Chris.

But...

***

'Why the heck am I doing this.' He thought as he looked at the coffee shop where professor mia and Chris were taking sips of coffee and talking with each other.

For some reason, he couldn't get rid of the ominous feeling in his heart when he looked at Chris and professor mia and so he decided to follow them.

'I should just get out of here.' He thought as he looked at Chris and professor mia who walked out of the coffee shop and were now walking towards the construction site.

'Yep, nothing sus.' He finally decided to leave them both alone.

"You think I wouldn't know?"

But just as he was about to leave he heard Chris's cold voice which echoed throughout the whole construction site.

"What are you talking about?"

"That you are a member of the dark guild."

Professor felt chills running through his spine as he heard Chris's emotionless voice echoing.

The Chris he knew was cheerful and had an aura around him that would make people talk with him even more but now looking at Chris the only thing he wanted to do was run far away as ms possible.

"So you know huh? Kid, you made the biggest mistake of your life. Even if you knew it you shouldn't have revealed it to me." Professor mia spoke with a creepy smile.

Mana around the area started to tremble. Professor Mia first started speeding towards Chris which was coated in dark energy at an extraordinary speed but...

Suddenly the world started spinning for her as she felt a tingly sensation around her neck.

While her vision was spinning around she looked at a fountain of blood that was flowing from a headless body.

With a sound of a low thud, her head fell to the ground and her eyes met with Chris's eyes.

The image of his emotionless emerald green eyes was engraved as she lost consciousness.

Looking at dead professor mia he started running as fast as possible but he heard a whisper in his ear which scared him to his core.

"Where do you think you are going, professor Louis."

Reincarnated To Evolve My Bee Empire

"Now, go forth, my mortal champion! Conquer this world—or else!" I lived a painfully average life and died by a stupid, stupid accident, but a goddess interfered, giving me a second chance in another world. There, I became royalty—the lazy kind with almost no obligations, free to live in peace and luxury for the rest of my days. Sounds like a dream, right? In reality, it was anything but—because I became *BEE* royalty. A Drone Bee, doomed to die of old age in 2 months! (A humanoid bee, thankfully, but still a bee in all the ways that matter.) The only way to increase my lifespan is to develop and grow my bee colony—a deadly task in a vicious world like this one. There are murderous insect monsters, colossal beasts trampling the earth, other civilizations, natural disasters, and the bitchy patron goddess who absolutely hates me. But as long as I have my brains, my bees, and the powerful genes my system gives me, my Bee Empire will be unstoppable! === For those who want to know more: This is a wholesome comedic story, but it has some dark moments. The focus is on kingdom building, survival as an empire, and interacting with MC’s beautiful bee wife and adorable bee daughters. The bees are all humanoid (see pictures) and human-sized. However, they are still bees in their ways of life and mentality. Although there’s a system, real growth comes from putting effort and time. Nothing happens in an instant in this story, unless it’s trouble. MC acts like an idiot sometimes (oftentimes), but he’s not actually stupid-stupid. When it comes to strategic decisions, he uses logic and reason. Even if you might disagree with it. Also, there will be no smut (ecchi is a fair game), incest, NTR, harem or BL. === Discord is up! Also, although I realize the futility of this aim (at least right now), if this novel reaches top 15 golden ticket ranking (and stays there for a few days, obv), I will mass release 10 extra chapters! (within 30 calendar days)

Young Master's PoV: Woke Up As A Villain In A Game One Day

"Now you see?" she shouted in a mix of annoyance and disappointment. "You can't outsmart Scrients! They're the most intelligent beings across the two realms." "You're right," I muttered, averting my gaze with a heavy sigh. "I made a mistake. I was too arrogant to think that a mere human like me could fool them." —BOOM!! "Heik! Wh-What was that?" "Hmm? I'm not sure. Maybe you should go and ask the most intelligent beings across the two realms. Oh wait, you can't. I killed them all.” ______ My name is Samael Kaizer Theosbane. On the last day of high school, I got into a fight with a kid I used to bully. It was a stupid, pointless scuffle, and in the middle of it, I tripped and hit my head on a rock. That’s when the memories came flooding in - the memories of another life, of a different world. Suddenly, everything made a twisted kind of sense. I realized two things. First, I was in a game I used to play in my past life. Second, I was a villain. A villain! Not the cool and mysterious kind, either. No, my destiny was to be manipulated and die a dog's death! I was the worst type of cliché: an ungrateful, privileged, insufferable young master. The sort you'd find in those poorly written fantasy stories. The kind everyone hates — a snobby brat from a powerful noble family who thinks he owns the world just because he was born with a silver spoon lodged in his mouth. You know the type. The one the hero beats to a pulp to prove his worth. Yeah, I was that guy. And the hero? The hero was the kid I’d been bullying all this time. The same one I got into a fight with. He was the supposed savior of this damned world. A world teetering on the edge of destruction, beset by wars, calamities, and a grim future that only I knew. And at the end of it all, the final antagonist of the game, the undefeatable boss… the Spirit King, was waiting. But could I even make it to the end? Could I conquer a game where defeat was the only certainty? A game that was now my reality! “Ah, fuck it.” I had no idea if I could, but I sure as hell was going to try. Extorting extras, manipulating main characters, twisting the story to my advantage, stealing the hero’s cheat items, killing villains before they could become threats - nothing was beneath me. Would the main characters be affected? Who cares! Would the story change? Even better! All I cared about was me—my survival, my life, my choices. “I will live this life with no regrets.” …But as I soon discovered, fate was not easily changed. And the price of altering one's destiny was steep. ========== Discord Server: https://discord.gg/VjFQtDUaTR
