Chapter Nine

Things are going according to their plan and Ras Zemede couldn't be any happier. He was well aware of what Wolde Samuel is doing. He knows that he sent a letter to his father through the people that his father sent to Gojjam to check on him. Also, Ras Zemede knows what Wolde Samuel's plan is. Wolde Samuel may think that this old man is an idiot to let him stay in Gojjam and give him a position but he didn't know what has planned for him.

Ras Zemede and his people that planned the plan didn't tell anyone about their plan but they have to since they are allies with Lasta and Wollo also Emanuel, fiancé of Tsege, is the son of Ras Teshome, leader of Lasta also a good old friend of Ras Zemede and Ras Yesuf of Wollo but they couldn't.

'Since we already have done something without their notice and since we have Wolde Samuel in our own hands, they will straight go on attacking Ras Michael and I know it's a very bad idea.' The old man, Ras Zemede thought for himself. He is very stressed about what their reaction would be when he tells them.

"Ha! Glad to see that you have done something without our notice." Ras Zemede's head shoots up to where the voice came from only to find the two people that he is very afraid to tell his plan.

Laughing nervously, Ras Zemede slowly stood up and approached both of them but in the process, Ras Yesuf asked "You know that we would have helped you if you had told us, right?" which made Ras Zemede stop his approach and stand where he is at which made Ras Yesuf continue what he was saying.

"If you have told us earlier, we would have helped you on planning the plan and you wouldn't haven't been stressed right now."

Ras Zemede sighed before replying. "I don't know what your reactions would be, that's why I didn't tell you two earlier but now that I know your reactions I'll tell you what we have planned if you haven't heard and the reason I am stressing right now? It was because of what your reactions might be."

Nodding, both of them sat down and Ras Zemede told them from the start to the bottom of their plan to which both men agreed on but not without a little objection that made the plan more organized.

Now that everything is sorted out, all they have to do was to put this plan into action that is almost halfway done.

On the other hand, Tsege was so curious about what is going on that she couldn't pull her eyes off of the place Wolde Samuel went, the newly found office of his.

"Princess what are you staring at?" one of the kids she was playing with asked her pulling her out of her world.

"Oh, you don't need to worry about it." She replied politely.

"Okay." Said the kid and run of to get something and someone chose this moment to sneak behind Tsege and whisper "I don't think I shouldn't…" scaring Tsege in the process.

"I didn't talk to you first of all…" she inhaled deeply and then continue what she was saying. "And why were you sneaking behind me, Sara?" she spoke out with shock in her voice and eyes wide open with her hands on her chest.

"What?! I was just saying something is bothering you and that's why you are staring at that old long-forgotten cottage that no one uses." If only she knew, that cottage has got someone new to look after it.

"Princess." Someone said interrupting her little conversation with her best friend.

"Yes…" she trailed off and turned around to find someone who, she is sure, works for her father as a massager.

'Oh no! What was his name?' she asked herself in panic.

"Elias." This name again came as a whisper which freaked Tsege out for the second time in the day but she didn't show it.

"Elias?" she continued with a smile on her face.

"Your father wants to see you and now if you will excuse me…" He finished his sentence with a little bow on the neck and walked away.

'Now what? What did I do that he wants to see me right now? As far as I know, I didn't do anything wrong… did I?'

"I'll talk to you later." With that, she walked away from her best friend to her father's office.

She knocked and waited for a response. She walked in when she heard 'come in'.

"Father, you said you wanted to see me?" She said but she didn't sit down because she is waiting for her father to give her permission to sit.

"First sit down." As soon these words came out of his mouth, at a speed of light he found her sitting on the chair that is before his office table.

'She will never change' he thought smiling for himself.

"So, the reason that I wanted to see you were I wanted you to go to Wolde Samuel and give him this as he is the trainer of the new warriors that are between the ages 11-14." With that, he passes the name list of the kids that are being trained.

Her eyes almost fell off their sockets but she composed herself quickly.

'We would at a disadvantage if he knows our way of fighting. I mean, what if he already has a way to communicate with his father and if he gets to know this, surely she will give every detail of the information to his father' she panicked.

"But father-" he cut her off.

"If you are going to say that we would be at a disadvantage, then I know what I'm doing, and don't you dare question what I am doing." He said with a firm voice.

'What is he exactly up to?' she asked herself.

'How am I going to find what he is doing so that I can understand?'

Sighing she picked the paper from the table at is in front of her father and started her journey to Wolde Samuel but was stopped by her father.

"Just know that I know what I'm doing and I know you and Emanuel are confused but you will get to know what is happening through time."

"Okay, father." With that, she left the office and officially started her journey to Wolde Samuel, the man she saved without noticing that he is their biggest enemy under his father. Journey to the man that made her locked up in the house because she saved him. Journey to the man that almost fought with her fiancé. Journey to the man that mocks Emanuel to the point Emanuel's face turns red.

She was smiling like a fool but when she comes to get to know that she shook her head to brush off what was going on her head.

'Why was I smiling?' she thought to herself. She again shook her head and pulled up a poker face and start to walk fast determined to finish whatever her father asked her to do.

She understood why her father chose her instead of his current massager and that was because if her father gave this task to someone else, that person will ask what is happening or worse, that person might dig in to find information and there must be a big reason that her father isn't telling anyone what's happening.

In the process of her journey, she felt nervous and she doesn't know why.
