Chapter 8- Stuck

Oh myy.... here goes nothing. We were currently in my room. James looking at me like saying 'okay. spill it'. And it's scarryyy. Trust me on this.

"Okay. so....?" James said still looking at me with those eyes. Demanding!

"I...um... well.." I cleared my throat. Ughhh!! I couldn't escape this. I'm so stuck in this interrogation session with her. Ugh!

"Oh c'mon. What could it be that you are so tense and unsure to tell me. It's not like you secretly have a boy in your life." She said in duh tone. Two seconds later her eyes widen with realization. Oh my... She figured!.

"OH MY GOD. THIS IS ABOUT A BOY ISN'T IT!?." She shouted standing up.

"Shhh..... calm down will you." I said pointing a finger to my lips indicating her to calm her voice.

"No I can't calm down when my girl just found a guy!" She whispered yelled. God she's so dramatic. I rolled my eyes.

"I didn't find a guy. It was just an accident." I hissed.

"Just tell me already." She said while taking my hand and making me sit on bed beside her. I was completely and utterly stuck now. DAMN!

'Okay Su. You can do it'. I told to myself. Oh boy...and here we go.

"Okay so..... yesterday we went to planetarium and we were walking and Amy was lost in her own world of stars and she bumped into someone."

By hearing that Amy bumped into someone James made a weird face. "Okay what is with that face?" I asked getting tired.

"Nothing. I just thought you would be the one bumping into someone, anyway, continue." She shrugged. Okay. That didn't hurt at all. I rolled my eyes but continued anyway. It's not like I can get away with this conversation.

"Yeah so Amy bumped into him and they had a conversation and well I found him arrogant." James rolled her eyes at this. "Okay what is this. First that weird face and now you are rolling your eyes at me." I said getting irritated.

"You met with a boy and you were thinking about him for like the whole day and you are saying you find him arrogant. Seriously Su?" James said trying to make me understand something but well I couldn't.

"Huh? What are you trying to say?" I said trying to understand. James groaned.

"God you are so stupid!. You definitely like that guy." My eyes widen but she continued. "Otherwise why would you think about a boy SO MUCH. C'mon Su, there had to something about him you liked." She tried to reason. Hmm she got a point.

"Hmm... Well he was..Um.... handsome" I whispered the last part, looking everywhere but at her. She squealed.

"Oh myy...oh myyy..... you found him handsome. Well this a progress now. So when are you meeting him again?" She said proudly.

"I ain't." I said in a low voice.

"WHAT? why??" She said with a shocked expression.

" 'Coz I don't know him and it was just an accident anyway. It's not like we are ever gonna cross paths again." I shrugged. The thought of not seeing him ever again kinda makes me sad. Wow. I want to see him again. I concluded. But it's not like I like him or anything. Yeah. I don't like him. I smiled to myself at this thought.

"You never know. Maybe you will cross paths with him. And you know what, I have a feeling that you are gonna cross paths with him. And soon." She said her head held high. Haha. This girl's something else.

"We'll see about that. But now that you know what was inside of my head, can we please arrange these clothes in the wardrobe?"

"Oh yeah I totally forget about that." She said childishly. I rolled my eyes. Smile came on my lips. We spent next hour clearing my wardrobe and placing new clothes in it. We did shop a lot today. After setting the wardrobe we went downstairs to eat. Amy was watching T.V and Ash was in his room sleeping.

"Hey sweetpea. How was your day today?." I asked sitting beside her. She was so busy in watching her series that she didn't even notice me asking her a question. Ahh! Kids these days!

"Sweetpea." I tried again. No response.

"AMY." I shouted. And finally.

"Huh! What? What happened!" She said startled. Way to go Susan. Haha.

"Nothing happened. You were so lost in your show that you ignored me." I said crossing my arms.

"Oh." Huh? That's it. She's just gonna say 'oh'.

"What is it sweetpea?" I asked scooting closer to her.

"Nah. Nothing. My favorite scene was going on so.....Um..sorry?" She said scratching her neck.

"Ahh I see. What are you watching?" I asked now looking at the T.V. Wait! This movie.

"I'm watching 'Forever My Girl'. It's a nice movie. Have you watched it?" She asked getting excited.

"Yup I have. And may I ask why are you all of a sudden into romantic movies?" I asked raising my eyebrows. As much as I know my sister, she never liked all these romance movies.

"Huh. I Um... I'm growing up and well I'm a teenager. My taste is changing." She said looking at the T.V. This was a little suspicion but well.....Hmm I'm going to let it slip for now.

"Ahh okay. You can come to me for suggestions yeah? And also that now you are 'growing up' you can come to me anytime for anything. Okay?" I said with a serious expression. She finally looked at me.

"Yeah I know." She said with a smile. There is something going on for sure with her. I gotta find out but not now. I was so tired with all the things happened in past two days. Just when I thought I would take some rest James came with a bowl of popcorn.

"What?" James asked when I stared at her.

"You tell me." I said sinking further in the couch.

"I thought we are gonna watch a movie so I brought popcorn." She said getting proud of herself. Oh my. lol.

"You guys watch imma go and take some rest." I said standing up from the couch and stretching my arms. She just shrugged and made herself comfortable on the couch near Amy. What a lovely friend I got! I made my way to the kitchen, grabbed some cookies and milk and went to my room. Next hour was spend checking my mail for college and taking a shower. Now I was laying on my bed looking at the ceiling. My eyes were getting heavy. I got a mail from Westwood college. My college was gonna be starting in two days, from Tuesday. Everything was going fine. Hailey called and informed that the house was sold and they shifted in the house today. Money was transferred in the account that was given to her. Things were good for now and I hoped they will be in future too. I sighed and my mind started thinking about those big hands, on my skin. And with these thoughts I fell into deep slumber.
