The stained past

Several years ago, I met a man named Domus. He was tall, gifted, and a well-rounded guy. We were both in our late twenties at that time. He was my best friend for many years until I realized he was a robber and his dirty deeds eventually caught up with him. I remembered driving on the 105 highway.
