Sports Club

As Suzuki's group wonder around the club area, they finally reached the of the non-sport clubs

"So where are we going to next?" Suzuki asked

"Hmm, let's visit my club then" Alicia suggested there is a little discomfort in her tone

"Your club?, oh right I didn't even have the chance to asked what are your clubs yet" Suzuki said as he take note of his mistake 'Why does she say it like that?' Suzuki thought

"Yeah, we never told you what club are we in don't we?" Natsuki said

"Yes we didn't, well I'm in the archery club" Alicia said

"Baseball club!!!" Chitose said as she raised her hand, Suzuki could see that Akira was clicking her tongue

"I'm in the basket ball club-desuwa" Caroline said

"Alright then let's go to the archery club since it's the closest one!!" Natsuki suggested then Suzuki's group went to the archery club

For the sport clubs they had a different area from the non-sport clubs since they need a larger place to practice and to train. So the school provide them with a special rooms for the club member and one of them is the archery club. The archery club was built in the large field behind the school even though it will take a longer time to reach the club room, the club it self need the space so the members have to consider the time they needed to go back and forth from there. The archery club is a traditional mochi island building even though it's traditional the members here use composite bows instead of long bow, there was a big debate about what kind of archery club was going to be made then the had a contest which club is the most popular one and the winner of that is the modern archery so the traditional archery had to accept their defeat. In the club the are many students holding bows and shooting targets at different distances, most of the students here are freshmen that is being taught by their senior so they used most of targets that is as far as 15 meters while some students that looked pretty old are shooting at a distance of 120 meters. The sight of the experienced students nocking their arrows fluidly from their quiver was very breathtaking.

"Wow!! this place is amazing!!" Chitose said with excitement

"It's stunning-desuwa" Caroline said with sparkling eyes

"Th-the place of these marksmen isn't that bad either" Akira said with slight irritation

"There is more people than I thought" Natsuki said with surprise, she didn't thought there is this much freshmen that wanted to join the archery club

"Do you guys want to try the shooting gallery?" Alicia suggested

"We can try shooting here even though we are not club members?" Suzuki asked

"Well, most of the student here aren't club members, as you can see those students that are teaching have badges badges on their shoulder, so that is the way for you to know which are the club members" Alicia said

"Alright then why don't I give a shot" Suzuki said then they went to a empty area as they walk there the number of female that follow them increased, they wanted to see the new handsome student doing some archery, in the shooting area there is a quiver with arrows, a binocular and a composite bow then Alicia test the bow, after drawing it for a few time satisfied there nothing wrong with the bow she then turn to Suzuki's direction

"Here you can use this bow" Alicia said while handing Suzuki the composite bow

"Thanks, so how do I hold this?" Suzuki asked a little confused, in the past while Suzuki is still roaming his old world, he has seen a lot of tribes that hunt with different kind bows so he is familiar with the shooting technique but this bow is a lot smaller than he thought

"Oh you should hold the bow like this" Alicia said as she get close to Suzuki, Alicia is fixing Suzuki's posture with her hand and when she tries to adjust the bow she got so close that their body is touching each other

'She is so soft and smell so nice!! No no no I have to be a gentle man!!! but why is she getting this close?! doesn't she noticed that her body is touching mine?!' Suzuki thought as he endure the coaching of Alicia, when Suzuki look at Alicia he can see that she was so focused that she didn't know that she was touching Suzuki 'She is so serious about archery, I wonder why did she say it in that tone before?' Suzuki thought

"Hehe isn't this good Ryu-kun? you got a beautiful coach that doesn't mind close contact" Natsuki said with a grin

"Alicia-san i-is so b-bold-desuwa!" Caroline said as cover her eyes but leave a large space so that her eyes can be seen with a flushed face

"Ho-how pre-preposterous!! you people will do such a br-brazen action in front of every one!!!" Akira yell as she looks down with a redden face filled embarrassment

"Onee-chan no fair!! I want to hug Ryu-senpai too!!" Chitose complained

And the girls that were following them we complaining towards Alicia behaviour, soon the commotion got a louder making the students look at the direction of Suzuki's group then Alicia finally notice that she is too close to Suzuki, she then backs away with burning red face that goes until her ears

"A-alr-right Ry-Ryu-kun I've sh-shown y-you a b-bit of the ba-basic so wh-why do-don't you t-try it" Alicia said while avoiding eye contact, she was feeling to self-conscious of Suzuki

"Y-yes, t-then let me try to shoot" Suzuki said a little flustered while blushing a little bit 'I can't let her be more embarrassed than this!!' Suzuki thought as he nocked an arrow and pulled the bow strings, the arrow flew straight to the target that is in the 50 meters range and hit the bullseye. Most of the club members that saw Suzuki's arrow with the binocular was dumbfounded they thought 'Was Kizuna-san that good at coaching?!', 'He could hit the bullseye at that distance so why did he need her coaching?', 'Is he that new kid?' and so on. Alicia who is holding the binocular was astonished

"It-it's a bullseye" Alicia said and the girls that were following them cheered with "Kyaa!!!" and Suzuki could see that one of them had fainted 'Why did she faint?!! Medic!! where is the medic here?!!' Suzuki retorted in his mind

"Wow!! How did you do that Senpai!!!" Chitose said with sparkling eyes as she get close to Suzuki

"Ye-yeah, that was amazing-desuwa, I've tried using a bow once but it's hard to hit the target-desuwa" Caroline said surprise

"I gu-guess you are not that much of I f-fool than I thought" Akira flusteredly said, there were once a small cursed bow in her club room, one time she tried to shoot a target she made with the bow but the result is her missing and break a vase that was near the target, she was scolded by her senpai and now was a little reluctant to hold a bow

"Wow Ryu-kun did you ever user a bow before? I mean I've tried shooting it once but I can't hit the target no matter what even though it was much closer than yours" Natsuki said with curiousity

"Ye-yeah, Ryu-kun you are pretty good at this, it took me around a month to be able to shot as long as that distance" Alicia said while she examined Suzuki but when their eyes met she looks away quickly blushing a little bit, guess she still feel a little self-conscious

"Hmm, I did saw a few videos about archery I guess I learn it from there?" Suzuki said as he awkwardly scratch the back of his head

"Well that is great, but if you could learn things from videos then you don't need to practice now don't you?" Natsuki said with suspicion

"Wh-what are you saying here?" Suzuki said s little confused by the sudden question

"What I'm saying is if you watch some of those 18+ videos you can learn their technique by just watching" Natsuki said as she grin like an old man then she got hit in the head by Suzuki

"Ou-ouch! why did you do that?!" Natsuki said as she holds her head

"We gentlemen don't want to watch it but we need to watch it and it is some gentlemen not all of them because we want to release our pent up frustration that we got from our daily work, or sometimes because of some motivation from what we saw from our surrounding that we must use it as an output and it just because!! or else a bad reciprocation will happen to us!!" Suzuki said proudly, the girls that listened to Suzuki didn't understand what he just said but the male students around him was giving him a mental thumbs up for what he just said. Then someone went to next area beside Suzuki's group and said "You're pretty good, why don't we have a friendly match?" and Suzuki can that Alicia twitch a little

The person that said this was Hiroi Teijo, he is a handsome guy who is a year older than Suzuki and he is the club president of the archery club. The club member describe him as a good person and very gentle towards every one so he has a lot of girls that liked him but he just did it for one person, it was for Alicia. He was surrounded a lot by girls but he felt like none of them was any good then Alicia joined the club she was the only girl who ignored him, Hiroi had never been ignored by a girl before so that made him interested with Alicia and he started to act nicer towards every one to get her attention because he knows that girls like nice people but when he saw Alicia was with some one else his heart sunk, he was very depressed when he saw that Alicia was smiling wholeheartedly at that guy (Suzuki)!! then he saw that guy (Suzuki) was tricking Alicia so he can get close to her, he knows that he need to take action and so here we continue until the part where Hiroi Teijo challenged Suzuki

"Erm, excuse me but who are you?" Suzuki asked, he could see that Alicia made a complicated face when she saw him 'Is this the person that made Alicia uncomfortable?' Suzuki thought

Hiroi was shocked he didn't realized that Suzuki was a freshmen that just joined the school "My my how rude of me, I'm the president of this club Hiroi Teijo" Hiroi said while combing back his hair, this action caused the girls that follow Suzuki's group to squeal.

"So who is this guy actually?" Natsuki asked ignoring Hiroi

"Sigh, he is my club President though he might be handsome but he still act like he knows everything about girls and he kept pestering me so I rarely come to this club" Alicia said a little bit annoyed

When Suzuki heard this his eyes flashed "So Teijo-senpai what kind of match are we going to do?" Suzuki asked

"Oh! it's a simple game where we will shoot the targets as far as we can, so if I shoot the target and hit the one at the at 25 and hit the black ring the you have to shoot the same target but can't be far of then what I shoot or shoot a target that is more far away then mine. Do you get the rules?" Hiroi explained after he explained more students caught the news that Hiroi was challenging Suzuki in a friendly match then the peanut gallery increased until there is no one that is practicing archery anymore

"Hmm, Alright! that sound pretty interesting but you do know that I'm still not to familiar with this kind of bow right?" Suzuki said

"It's ok, I'll let you hit the target first as a handy cap" Hiroi said

"Please take care of me" Suzuki said then he held the bow and nocked an arrow then he shoot, the arrow flies to the target that is as far as 25 meters and he hit the bullseye. The crowd cheer when they saw the arrow hit the bullseye

"You're not bad for a beginner then how about this!" Hiroi said then he released his arrow, the arrow flies toward the 35 meters target and he hit the bullseye. The crowd cheer once more

"Wow you're good Senpai!" Suzuki praised with a little difficulty then he shoot the target that is as far as 50 meters and hit the blue ring. The crowd cheer again but Hiroi was grinning he knew that Suzuki's shoot before was his beginners luck then he held his bow and shoot and hit the target at 60 meters distance and hit the bullseye. The male students were cheering because they were jealous of Suzuki but all of the female students was quiet

"Well what's wrong Ryu-kun you're not shooting?" Hiroi asked normally but the way he ask after what he done caused a great stir of hate coming from the female students 'How could he bully a such a handsome guy like this!!' all the female students thought but Hiroi didn't noticed though the other male students realized that the female students was glaring at him with hate, so they just pray for the president who just dug his own grave

"Yeah I will shoot don't worry" Suzuki said as he readies his bow

"Are you sure Ryu-kun? you don't need to win this match you know!" Alicia said with concern, Natsuki , Caroline and Akira was also showing concern to Suzuki except Chitose who looks like she was ready to beat Hiroi up

"Yeah I'm fine and also Chi-chan don't crack your knuckle like that!! you don't have to kill him you know because I know what I'm doing!!" Suzuki said with a reassuring tone and a serious gaze, all of the girls including the one in Suzuki's group felt their heart throb when they saw his expression. Suzuki sucked in a large gulp of air then look forward then closed his eyes after accumulating all of his knowledge from his various visits into different tribes he know that he can shoot way much better than he thought 'Maybe it's because of my perception plus my intelligence that I can shoot this good' Suzuki thought, after what it seem to be long period of time Suzuki suddenly opened his eyes and crouch suddenly pulled a arrow from the quiver as he dragged the arrow across the floor causing sparks to form then he nocked the arrow into the string draw to it maximum tension

"Dragon Piercing Shot!!!" Suzuki shouted excitedly then let go of the string causing him to get pushed back a little bit though it was an exaggerated action but the arrow flew very far and very fast and soon hit the target.

Every one was dumbfounded by Suzuki's action then one of the student who has recovered from their stupor quickly grabbed a binocular and look at the direction of Suzuki's arrow

"I-it's a b-bullseye, d-distance is an unbelievable 145 meters" the student said still can't believe what he just saw then every one cheer at the top of their lungs and a few more female students fainted then they are escorted out by their friends

'How weak hearted are the girls here?!' Suzuki retorted in his mind but he was surprised as well, Suzuki was going for the 100 meters target, he never thought that it will hit the target at max distance let alone hitting the bullseye

"Wah!! that is amazing Ryu-senpai!!!" Chitose said as she latch on Suzuki

"Yeah! you used such an unique technique-desuwa!!" Caroline said excitedly

"What a splendid archery Ryu-ku- no Dragon Slayer-sama!!!" Akira said as clenched her staff with sparkly eyes while fidgeting

"When did I killed a dragon?!! and stop fidgeting like that!!" Suzuki retorted

"Well done Dragon Slayer-sama, now how about you saw a few word to my lady here?" Natsuki said as she grins while gesturing to Alicia who seem to be blushing for some reason

"Is there anything wrong Alicia-san?" Suzuki asked

"No no-nothing is wr-wrong here!!" Alicia said while she avoids eye contact, her face was turning redder 'I ca-can't say that he looked cool right? would it be weird if I said that?' Alicia thought as she process the complicated feeling in her heart

"Ok then? well Senpai thanks for the match!" Suzuki said

"Ryu-kun I think he is dead now, look!" Natsuki said as she points at the direction of Hiroi was before

What they saw on the floor there was the remain of Hiroi Teijo, not a corpse but a letter and a pool of water near it. The a letter says "Good job Ryu-kun for beating me, I'm sorry that I can't say it to you personally but I have a serous thing I need to take care of. And P.S.Please don't search me in the infirmary because I'm not there" and there is some smudges on the edges of the letter, most likely from the pool of water near it.

'Is he an Anbu?!! and why do I feel that I should asked what is that pool of water is?!' Suzuki retorted in his mind

"Alright then let's go to my club!!" Chitose said as she dragged Suzuki who she still latch onto

"Hey! wait isn't anyone asking where is Hiroi-senpai now?!" Suzuki retorted

"He is now in a better place" a male student said

"But he is in the infirmary?! right? RIGHT?!!" Suzuki

"Yeah we will not forget him" a female student said

"But you just ignored his letter just now though!!" Suzuki retorted

"See Ryu-senpai he is fine" Chitose said with a cheerful smile as she put more force on her grip

"Your action doesn't match your words you know!!" Suzuki retorted then Suzuki dragged by Chitose followed by Alicia and co as they go to the field near the school, today the field is reserve for the baseball club. The baseball club right now doing their batting practice so there is a lot of students who is holding bat and swinging them.

"Wait here okay!! I'm going to borrow some gear from the club President!!" Chitose said as she run along the field

Suzuki could see that Akira was making an annoyed face when Chitose mention her club President "What's wrong Shima-san?" Suzuki asked

"Nothing wrong Dragon Slayer-sama it's just that there is an annoying imbecile here, so I just don't want to see his face now!!" Akira yelled

"Ouch, to call me an imbecile, you must hate me a lot huh, the wicked witch from non-sports club" some one said then Suzuki and the girls look at the source of the voice, it was a handsome guy with a short eggshell white hair, he was wearing a white baseball clothes and a white cap

"Who are you calling a witch you imbecile!" Akira yelled as she glare at the guy

"And who are you calling an imbecile you witch!" the guy yelled as he glare at Akira

It looks like sparks coming out from their fierce staring contest, Suzuki and the girls were dumbfounded when they see them glaring with such hate then Suzuki raised his hand

"Who are you?" Suzuki asked

Both of them stop glaring when Suzuki asked then the handsome guy turn to meet Suzuki "Oh how rude of me, let me introduce my self my name is Komatsu Sorai the same year as you. I'm the club president of the baseball club also the sports club leader and I've heard a lot of you Ryo-kun" Komatsu said with a smile

"Li-like about what?" Suzuki asked shivers goes down his spine 'Is he gay?!' Suzuki thought

"Like how strong you are and how good you smell" Komatsu said

There was a loud screeching sound coming from Suzuki's brain when heard this then he felt some one patting his shoulder, it was Akira

"Don't mind this Imbecile, he might sound gay but that is the way he speaks" Akira said then Suzuki sigh in relieve

"Haha, yes don't mind the way I speak I'm straight just like you Ryu-kun" Komatsu said as he laugh

"O-ok then where did you get that info from?" Suzuki asked

"Isn't obvious It's from Chitose who just ran out to find me" Komatsu said

'Chi-chan!! what are you telling people about me!!!' Suzuki retorted in his mind

"Right! then let's go to the center field! you guys are checking out the club yes? so follow me then" Komatsu said then they started to walk to the center field

As they walk Suzuki remembered something that Komatsu said "Sorai-san what is club leader that you talked about before?" Suzuki asked

"Hey! witch did you not explained what is a club leader to him?" Komatsu asked as he look at Akira only to be ignored by her, Komatsu sigh helplessly

"Well let me shorten the explanation, in short a club leader is some one who take care of the respective club types. So there is three types of clubs here first is the non-sports club is lead by that witch over there" Komatsu said as he glance at Akira and Akira stick out her tongue and make a letter L with her hand in front of her forehead but Komatsu just ignore her and that made Akira stomp her feet on the ground angrily

"Next is me the club leader of the sports club" Komatsu said but before he continue Suzuki tapped his shoulder

"Wait this interesting and all but what do you guys actually take care of and how did you guys get selected?" Suzuki asked

"Hmm, well if you asked that let just say we took care of the trouble that arise from clubs like budget, tournaments and those kind of work, and the way we got selected is with our grade and from which of our club types are" Komatsu said

"Wait so are you saying that Shima-san is smart?!" Suzuki retorted

"Hey! what do you mean by that!! I have you know that I'm your class rep here!! I can complain to the teacher if I want too!!" Akira yelled

This piece of information shock not only Suzuki but the girls as well

"Wait wait wait are you saying that you are our class rep?!" Alicia asked surprised

"Yeah and what of it?" Akira said

"You mean the loner class rep that has no presence and always sits in front, that has big round glassed and silently goes out of our class when break time comes class rep?!" Natsuki said surprised

"I know you are explaining who I am but make it sound better!!" Akira retorted

"But isn't obvious-desuwa?" Caroline said then Suzuki and the girls including Akira all turn towards Caroline

"Wha-what do you me-mean Carol-san?" Akira asked nervously

"Well since I sit in front too I always could see you leave-desuwa, and one time I saw you in the bathroom saying "Hahaha, I'm the greatest arch wizard there is. Bow down to I Scarlet Phantom"-desuwa as you laughed wholeheartedly-desuwa, I thought you were practicing for a play at that time-desuwa" Caroline said

"To think some one knows my identity before I Scarlet Phantom said it her self, now my life in high school is over" Akira said while rolling on the ground holding her red face in shame

"It's ok Shima-san" Suzuki said as he pet Akira's shoulder then Akira looks toward Suzuki with sparkling eyes

"You high school live never started in the first place" Suzuki said with a smile then Akira starts crying and hugged Alicia's leg

"Waaaah!! *hic* Mom!!! *hic* Ryu-onii-chan is being mean again!!!" Akira wailed as more tears flows from her eyes then she was hugged by Alicia

"Whose the mother!!! but still Ryu-kun!!! Seiza!! NOW!!!" Alicia yelled at Suzuki then Suzuki was force by Alicia to do Seiza while Natsuki who laughed so hard that her stomach hurts was coaxing Alicia while Akira is being comforted by Caroline who seem confused, wondering if this was her fault.

As Suzuki sits on the floor he noticed that the Explanation was not finished "By the way Sorai-san who is the last club leader here?" Suzuki asked

"Oh right the last one, well I don't know her name since we call each other by our nicknames but she is the combat club leader and her nickname is The Dreaded Siren" Komatsu said in a solemn tone

"Why is she called like that?" Suzuki asked

"I don't know but I do know that you shouldn't make her angry" Komatsu warned

"Alright, I'll keep that in mind" Suzuki said then Chitose return and was angry at Komatsu then Suzuki practice batting with Komatsu and the result are Suzuki hits a 10 home runs in 10 hits that made all the club member including Komatsu bewildered but Suzuki and co already left to go see Caroline's club

It doesn't need to be said that Suzuki could shoot the ball into the basket very easily and he can even shoot a basket from the edge of the gym easily while doing so trick shot in the mix, when they played a game to see who can score more obviously Suzuki won by a landslide, after having fun at the basketball club the bell rung and all of the students hurriedly goes to their class

'I wonder who is this Dreaded Siren' Suzuki wonder as he listened to the teacher lesson and soon enough the bell rung again showing it was lunch break. Then Suzuki followed by Alicia, Natsuki, Caroline and Akira who is done changing clothes go to the rest of the sports club. Let just say that Suzuki beat all of the clubs easily.

Then goes through the day normally then Suzuki goes home with Alicia and Chitose who is linking arms with Suzuki since she didn't meet him at lunch time then she demand Suzuki to pet her again but Suzuki was embarrassed to do it in public so he suggested that they hold hands until they go home then Chitose linked her arm to Suzuki. Alicia was obviously yelling at Chitose but Chitose said that she could do the same with the other arm and that made Alicia blush and mumble something before she rushed ahead Suzuki and Chitose

When Suzuki arrived at his room at 7.30 P.M. he checked his system for his notification

(Congratulation since user has achieved beating more than 10 people in a sport that they are good at the user has been rewarded with the following spell 'Water arrow'and user has been bestowed the title Sniper)

(Water arrow allows the user to shoot a condensed cone shape water with the cost of mana or water in the storage. the shape of the cone can be configured and the speed of the arrow depends on how much mana was spent)

(Title 'Sniper' is bestowed to some one who achieved a grand feet of perfectly shooting something at their max distance or shooting a target by ricocheting them with out missing a single one. The effects are increased accuracy when shooting and make it easier to hit the desired location)

Suzuki was surprised with what he saw 'A new spell and a title huh, I guess that is good' Suzuki thought while still processing the new things he got then he checked his status to see that his charisma has increased to 40 'I didn't think that my charisma will this much" Suzuki thought dumbfounded after checking his status Suzuki felt sleepy 'I guess I can check the new spell later' Suzuki thought as he yawned then he took a bath and ate dinner then he went to sleep.
