Chapter 1: Start of an Adventure

3rd District Orphanage

Su Li a 14-year-old boy was born and raised out of the slums otherwise known as the 3rd district, of The Silver Kingdom a kingdom full of joy and happiness but he's never understood the meaning of those words.

He only knows the meaning of 3 words power, training, and revenge. Su Li knows that power is needed and training is how you get there while revenge stands for whatever you do to me I will give back two-fold.

Laying on his wooden bed late at night Su Li kept thinking about the next day where every child at the age of 14 would start their journey of cultivation. The test where your future would be determined to see if you would join the military or the Academy that resides inside the inner court otherwise known as the 2nd District.

At the 13 the body becomes strong enough for body tempering meaning in 1 year if you have not at least reached stage 7 of the body tempering realm you are deemed inadequate and sent straight to the military.

If not sent to the military and passing the minimum threshold of Body tempering realm stage 7 you are eligible to take a series of test given by the Kingdom's Academy backed by 3 of the Kingdom's most powerful experts frequently called the Academy Elders

Su Li felt extremely lucky having reached stage 7 of Body tempering the week before however he also felt nervous because as an orphan he was deemed scum, the worst of the worst, the child of parents who cast him aside. Su Li felt that no matter what people say about him he would ignore them, they don't know him and don't care what he went through so he had to prove to them that no matter where he came from he would beat them all.

Jolted from his stupor by the yelling of the orphanage director telling the kids to sleep Su Li was ready to hurry up and go to the 2nd district however long or short it may be as this place can't be better than anything on the other side of the district walls as staying here any longer would feel like torture for him.

Drifting off to sleep Su Li was ready and his heart was set. Growing up an orphan he had seen the way of the world where only power was needed to cast aside all rules and people that stand in your way.
