War

"So, let's just conveniently ignore my relationship with Ophis and start interrogating this woman that I have captured today." I stated by gesturing at Katarea Leviathan, who was sitting on a chair in the middle of the living room.

The number of people and the seats available in the living room did not match, so I had conjured several replicas of a chair with my structural grasp.

Michael's group sat on one side of the couch, while Devils sat on the other other. Azazel used a single seater couch all for himself and the rest of the Peerages used the chairs to sit around the room.

"That's very bold of you, Alex." Sona gave me a stern look, "It seems like Irina and Xenovia already know about Ophis, but they didn't really know who she was."

"Just think of her as my friend." I casually waved off, "And we are straying from the topic."

"Son of Maou Sirzechs." Katarea growled while being bound to her chair with my magic, "Release me." She glared at me.

"So that these guys can kill you?" I asked by titling my head with a confused look, "You're not a smart one, are you? Even though you wear specs."

"And you wear a fucking blindfold!" She argued back.

"Oy, Oy, calm down." Azazel called out nervously when he saw how several people in the room were in a foul mood, "First of all, I should thank you for inviting us to your house and continue this meeting, despite the loss of our actual meeting spot."

"Nah, I don't mind." I shrugged in response.

"No, it's not so simple." Michael shook his head and smiled at me, "You have showed us trust by letting us into your house. It might not mean much to you, but it means a lot to us."

"Whatever, I have not even offered you guys a glass of water yet." I rolled my eyes in response, "And really, get to the topic now."

"What do you want to ask?" Katarea snorted and smirked at me, "As if I am going to answer a brat like you, let alone these losers."

"Your loud mouth might just get you killed, you know?" Serafall warned seriously, "Your ally is already dead, so don't think we won't kill you."

"Nice joke." Katarea deadpanned.

"Now, tell me, what was your objective for attacking us?" I asked and grabbed everyone's attention in the room.

"Our objective was to bring you with us, even if by force or persuasion." Katarea answered and realised with an astounded expression, "Why.. Why did I just tell you that?"

"As long as you're inside my barrier, you're in my control." I replied with a small smile.

"Ask about her bust size!" Issei cheered and realised what he had just done.

A sudden slap across his face and he sat quietly on his chair.

"Ise-san." Asia patted his back and tried to cheer him up again.

"When did you?" Dulio and Griselda looked at me with a baffled expression.

"I am fast." I grinned at them.

"He can freeze time." Xenovia blatantly replied to them.

"Tell them all my secrets, why don't you?" I smiled at her with an annoyed twitch on my lips.

Azazel bursted into laughter and the others laughed along with him as well, "Freeze time? That's quite the ability you have." He remarked and curiously glanced at the vampire kid, "That's similar to the powers of Aeon Baelor."

Gasper gasped at the attention and immediately hid inside his box, which I don't know where the fuck he got from.

"So, Power of Destruction is not the only power you possess." Michael thought aloud and nodded to himself, "Your existence is intriguing to me, Alexander."

"F-Freeze time?" Katarea stuttered with an stupefied expression.

"Next question." I stated as I looked back at her with a devious smile, "Who are your allies?"

"Nobody." Katarea answered with a straight face and that caught me off guard.

"Let me rephrase the question then." I stated when I saw the terrified look on her face.

She was definitely hiding something, but it was so personal that she would rather die than answer me. Thankfully, I was able to sense her emotions due to the barrier and avoided the path all together, for now.

"Are you a member of the Khaos Brigade?" I asked.

"I am." Katarea replied and took a deep breath of relief, which nobody seemed to have noticed.

"Who else are a part of the Khaos Brigade?" I continued asking, when I saw everyone was focused on the interrogation.

Although, Akeno, Tsubaki and Grayfia had started serving refreshments to everyone in the room.

"The Old Satan Faction, the Hero Faction, The Magician Faction Nilrem, and Vali's Group." Katarea answered, "There are more, but I don't know about them, nor have I met them."

'She's cooperating.' I noted, because her latter response wasn't a part of my question.

"Vali's Team." Azazel pointed out, "What do you know about them?"

"Do you really think I would answer to you, you filthy crow?" Katarea scoffed arrogantly and turned away from him.

Azazel gave me a helpless stare and I sighed.

"What do you know about Vali's group?" I asked in a tired voice, "This is a little boring, you know?" I glanced at the others.

"Well, it's worth it." Serafall gave me a deadpan stare.

"Vali's team." Katarea growled, "All I know about them is that they are bunch of morons brought together by Ophis. They don't cooperate with other Factions in the Khaos Brigade and do whatever the hell they want."

"Ask her about their plans regarding the Evil peices." Sirzechs patted on my shoulder, because Katarea obviously wasn't going to answer him.

"The Evil peices." I nodded at him and turned back to Katarea, "What does Khaos Brigade wants to do with them?"

"Enslave the humans, what else?" Katarea snorted in response, "Humans are the only race that are born with Sacred Gears. The Khaos Brigade intends to do the same as what the New Satan Faction is doing with this power."

Katarea smirked as she saw the opportunity, "Eventually, the Devils would gather all the Sacred Gears and would be strong enough to Topple over the heavens one day." She grinned at Michael, "What would you pathetic Angels do then?"

"Honestly, do you think we would've opted peace if that were the case?" Serafall frowned at the Leviathan.

"You're just buying time." Katarea argued back and she was being successful, when I saw the concerned look on Michael and his group's face.

"That won't happen." I stated firmly and glared at Katarea, "Devils already have the power to wage war. If my father, Sirzechs and his fellow generation's Maou were present during the Old War, who do you think would've won?"

Everyone got silent and there was a serious tension present in the room, but I continued.

"From what I have heard, the original Lucifer was a weakling and he followed the wrong path." I stated blatantly, "Ultimately, he brought his entire race to demise. And when the War ended, probably it were the supremists like you who caused the Civil War in the Underworld, in order to obtain political fame and power of your ancestors."

"That's actually correct." Grayfia stated in astonishment and looked at me with a proud smile.

"So, what?" Katarea growled back at me, "The new Satan Faction took over just because the descendants of the Original Satan Clan weren't competent! Some people just didn't get to make a choice!"

"So you do realise." I looked at her with a bright smile, "Your Kind was so obsessed with hierarchy that you didn't even know, you were messing with the wrong people."

Katarea growled in frustration, but she stayed quiet.

"If the Three Factions were to fight now, who would win?" I seriously turned my question to the leaders present in the room.

"Alex, you can't just-"

Sirzechs raised up his hand at Serafall and asked her to stay quiet.

"We are strong." Azazel crossed his legs and leaned back on his seat, "We don't have the powerhouse like Sirzechs and Ajuka in our Faction, but if I get serious, I might even be able to create several prototype Sacred Gears to strengthen my race. Not to mention, we have the Slash Dog team and support of some of the best Japanese Exorcist Clans."

"Our population might be on the lower number compared to the Devil Race, but we make up those numbers with our Exorcists trained at the Church." Michael stated calculatively and answered the leaders, "Some of our Exorcists can even match the Satan Class in terms of Combat strength."

"Not to mention, we wield the power that is the greatest weakness to the Devil Race." Gabriel added with a critical gleem in her eyes.

"If a war occurs." Sirzechs sighed by inhaling a deep breath and gravely narrowed his eyes, "In order to protect the existence of my Race, I'll have no choice but to face off against the Heavenly Faction on my own."

"Even if you can counter the Devils with your Holy attribute, it means nothing against the Power of Destruction." Serafall boasted to Gabriel with a smug expression, "And if we get flanked by the Fallen Angels when Sirzechs is gone, we would still have Ajuka, Asmodeus and Me on the frontlines."

"Do you really think you can fight against the Heavens on your own?" Dulio questioned Sirzechs with a deep frown.

"He can." Michael was the one to answer and meaningfully shook his head towards his joker, "He's the Devil who has wiped out thousands of his own and brought several Clans to extinction during the Civil War."

"Without doubt, he's the most insane person in this room." Michael remarked by glancing at Sirzechs, who simply looked back at him with an innocent smile.

"Wait, are you guys actually considering a war?" Katarea gulped with a fearful expression and wondered if these monsters were real, and most of all, the brat who had proposed the war.

"What would you do if a war really occurs?" Irina asked genuinely by looking towards me.

"That's a tough question." I answered thoughtfully, "Of course, I won't be joining any sides. Even if I am a Devil, I won't support the act of War. Though, there's a possibility that I might go against the leader that's trying to wage the war and take its head first."

"Peace it is." Michael stated with a firm nod.

"I agree to Peace as well." Azazel nodded in agreement and turned to hear Sirzechs' decision.

"All we want is Peace." Sirzechs exhaled a heavy breath and glanced at me with a fond smile, "I lost precious time with my son due to one war, I don't want to start another and miss this opportunity as well."

"Then." Michael clapped his hands together with a bright smile, "Since we have all agreed to Peace, let's sign the Peace Treaty and celebrate this occasion with some orange juice." He raised up his glass of orange juice to everyone present in the room.

"Cheers." Azazel chuckled and raised up his glass as well.

"Whatever." Sirzechs laughed and followed the tradition.

"You.." Katarea gave me a dumbfounded stare as the room's environment turned into an energetic celebration.

"I still have a lot of questions I need to ask you." I scoffed at her and handed her a glass of juice, "For now, stay well behaved and you might live."

"Ara Ara, Alex-kun." Akeno gave me an penetrative stare with a meaningful grin, "Are you perhaps flirting with the enemy~?"

"You..!" I frowned at her stupid accusation and saw Katarea blush in reaction to her suggestion, "Don't fall for it, you moron!" I whined anxiously and everybody started laughing at my situation.

Thankfully, I was able to avoid the subject of my unnecessary embarrassment when Serafall brought out the Peace Treaty.

All the respective leaders of their Factions signed it and ultimately forged an alliance.

Since they did not read the terms and agreements of the Treaty, I figured that each one of them must've already discussed about it in detail with their Faction's other leader figures.

"Today was productive." I groaned and relaxed back on my seat, "What are we going to do with my little hostage?"

"Little?" Katarea frowned at me, "I am centuries older than you, brat."

"Why don't you take responsibility for her, since she's your hostage?" Azazel suggested with a meaningful smirk, "You seem to be handling her well already."

"I won't allow an enemy to stay in this house." Grayfia frowned at me, while Irina and Xenovia shared the same opinion and conveyed it to me with their eyes.

"Do you seriously think I'll let her stay in the house?" I was astonished by their way of thinking.

'I might.' I thought when I realised Katarea had her own motives for following the Khaos Brigade, 'I can't believe myself.. Sympathising with the enemy.'

"It's you we are talking about." Rias remarked by giving me an intense stare.

"I agree with Rias." Sona was surprised by her own statement, but that wasn't the point, "You allowed Ophis, the Ouroboros Dragon to stay in your house. And she was the leader of Khaos Brigade."

"L-Let me stay." Katarea stuttered helplessly and desperately looked at me for help.

"Where has your arrogant pride gone now?" Serafall scoffed at the descendant of Leviathan.

Katarea knew she would be dead the moment she arrives at the Underworld, because even if the Maou Sirzechs spares her life by any chance, the Great King Faction would definitely move to eliminate her even if she's held as a prisoner.

"I.. I would do anything you want." Katarea lowered her pride and offered herself, "I'll become your servant, but just let me live."

I saw that Serafall was about to mock her again and make things difficult, so I spoke up first, "Fine." I made the decision by exhaling an stressful sigh, "And just so do you know, don't try anything stupid."

"Alex." Xenovia shouted and I raised up my hand at her, because I wasn't done with Katarea yet.

"The barrier also means that your actions are linked to my consciousness." I stated seriously, "The moment I detect you trying to do anything suspicious, even when I am asleep, a vaccum will be created inside the barrier and you'll be gone within a moment's notice."

"G-Gone, where?" Katarea stuttered with a terrified look in her eyes.

"Where ever the Devils go after they are dead, you know?" I answered with an innocent smile, "Do you understand, or do you wish to be brought to the Underworld?"

"I'll follow you." Katarea took deep breath and nodded towards me.

"Great." I cheered and got up from my seat, "Now lets go back to your homes everyone."

"Wait." Michael stopped me with an creepy smile and I annoyingly clicked my tongue, "Are we going to ignore the topic of the Holy Swords?"

"Ah, fuck it." I groaned and pulled out the True Excalibur from my chest, before plunging it on the Table before us, "The sword you're looking at is the True Excalibur, no longer a Holy Sword, but Divine."

Michael and Gabriel gulped subconsciously as they continued to stare at the Platinum, Golden and Blue sword. The Runes inscribed on the blade of the Longsword radiated Divinie Aura, even if they couldn't understand a single word.

"That's nothing like the Excalibur I have seen before." Azazel stated as he took a close look at the sword, "It has the power to turn the world upside down, if held in the wrong hands."

"Then you're lucky, because the sword cannot be held in anybody's hands except for mine." I stated with a cheeky grin and rested the blade on my shoulder, "Did you get your answers?" I looked at the Archangel.

"I would like to know more, but it can wait." Michael nodded towards me and stood up.

Gabriel, who was sitting next to him also stood up and approached me with an innocent smile. I was curious what she wanted, so I stayed at my spot, but imagine my surprise when Gabriel held my face with her hands and snatched my lips with an obsessive gleem in her eyes.

"G-Gabriel...!" Michael was in disbelief with his mouth agape, and he was not the only one to show such a reaction.

I wanted to move away, but Gabriel's hold on my face was like an adhesive and her lips were addictively soft and smooth. Although, once she was satisfied, she separated from me and looked down at herself with a maiden's shy smile.

"Michael." She cheerfully rushed back to her brother's side, "Look, I didn't turn!"

"W-What?" Michael got out of his daze and everyone realised the fact that an angel had just committed an lustful act with me, which is one of the grave reasons for thier downfall.

"Oy, Oy, are you serious?" Azazel stood up and gave me a dumbstruck stare, "Do you know how ridiculous that is?"

"Ah, fuck it!" I exclaimed anxiously and stabbed Excalibur back into my chest.

"Alex!" I heard the sharp exclamation of my name and saw that almost all of them had rushed towards me.

"What?" I asked with a confused frown and realised what the move I just made must've looked like, "O-Oh."

Sona grabbed my collar and glared at me with a tearful expression, "You jerk."

"We should beat him to death." Xenovia suggested while holding the same expression as her, while Irina had simply started crying in Grayfia's arms.

Sirzechs had the expression like he was about self destruct at any moment now. Where else, my Step mom seemed to desperately want to commit the crime of child abuse with me.

"You are an idiot." Rias inhaled a deep breath and fell back on her chair.

Although, to my surprise, I saw Akeno staring at me with tears running down her cheeks.

"Ara Ara." She sniffled and turned away from me, when she realised I was watching her.

"Why the fuck is there so much Drama in my life?" I questioned myself with a deep thoughtful frown.

Do I really deserve 1-2 Star Reviews and so much hate? It's just a fucking story.

And its not like I am a professional writer who gets paid, so the least a reader can do is support the author than counting his mistakes.

Honestly, I appreciate the silent and positive readers out there.

I don't care about stuff like Power Stones, but just don't diss me one chapter after another. Stop reading and move onto another story if you don't like my book, simple as that.
