The silence before the storm

I was continuously staring at the ceiling while thinking about the man who could it be? well I cried a while ago because of the yesterday accident I have not stepped out of my room I called guards so that I can see yesterday night's cctv footage to get a clue but no use they said all of the cameras around the mansion have been jerked because the main electricity power house has been showing fault since last night because it rained heavily I can clearly tell that by looking at my balcony flower pots, while I was thinking about these stuffs I got a message it was a mayor's announcement for the citizen of this time without wasting any further second I clicked on it and saw that he was telling that electricity fault would take two days to get repaired again as weather is not so good so taking any action for powerhouse can be risky and dangerous for the labours well before I can watch it any further I heared a knock at my door 

"come in" as I said those words grandma came in

"we are leaving ma'am"

"who do you mean by we"

"ma'am I hope you heared the mayor's speech"

"yea, i did"

" ma'am electricity has been jerked for two days most of the maids are housewives or mothers we come here after covering along distance to work here, as you know here only live the rich people it is not possible for us to stay here nor if we would go home it is possible to stay here for long as it will get so dark, so all of the maids are taking leaves"

"oh i see.... okay have you made the dinner already?"

"yes ma'am"

"okay you guys can leave, and also tell the guards to take leave they also have a family"

"will you manage it all alone?"

"yeah i can"

"okay then i will take my leave now it's getting dark" i looked at the glass door and noticed it was already evening 

"oh yess also take that that gift" i said while pointing at my dressing where a bouquet of red roses and a huge gift was placed 

"thankyou so much ma'am" i nodded while smiling she went from there 

I looked at my phone and laid on my bed while going through my insta home page I was not done there liking through sana's new post of her sitting in the aeroplane with her fiance I was going to comment something but till then I saw it was mom's call I quickly responded it 

"Hello honey how you're doing"

"fine mom" I didn't wanted my mother to worry about me so I lied

"did you ate"

"why dear eat it it's already late"

"yeah I am going to do so"

"okay did you went to university today?"

" no mom i wasn't feeling so good today sana also took leave so I"

"okay dear, how's henry"

"h.....h....he's doing great mom"

"why are you shuttering Elly?"

"mom i told you i wasn't feeling so good i had cough so"

"where's dad?"

" he's outside at the pool"
