Goal, Insight, Smoothness - 1

"Ting, ting, ting ,ting, ting, ting!"

"Tomato, Potato, thirty zen per kilogram; Green vegetables, forty-fifty zen per kilogram!" The streak shouting of the man cherishes my ears with love as I open my eyes to the still-rising Sun.

"Freshly picked from the garden; Best quality vegetables cheaper than the market price." He shouts once again with all his might, I wonder if that's him giving his all, calling out the customers with the irritating bell ringing all around.

Slowly and gradually, the blurry vision clears up as I keep fluctuating my eyelids.

"Uh-huh, maybe I can take a little nap, it's not like I am sleeping." My eyes are still not opening and my brain suggests some more relaxation so I just need to follow them.

"Ting, ting, ting-"

"Argh, just stop tickling my nerves with that brassy bell?!" My head hurts. But it's not like he can hear me.

I press my head from the corners and slide the fingers slowly but firmly towards the center of the forehead trying to reduce the irritation I am feeling right now. And it works. I close my eyes once again but it's not like before. I have lost all the will to sleep. My will.

I look at the ceiling once again and move my numb legs slowly to get back control of them. It's not like this is the first time I am doing this. It's a fitness mantra everyone should follow when they wake up in the morning.

After doing that for around five minutes while listening to the continuous shouting outside, I put my palm against the futon and push my body upwards. After remaining stagnant at that sitting position for few seconds like a cultivating ninja (cultivating ninja?), I stand up straight, shaking up from time to time.

"~Youaaaaaww~" I stretch my hands to their extreme while yawning. It makes me feel real good, to be honest.

Roughed-up hair, still blinking eyes, and wavering body, I look like a total moron. You can't blame though since it's quite normal for everyone…

I walk towards the window beside my table while scratching my gluteus Maximus (butt?) and look outside through the window. In front of me is the entire map of my colony and it's really beautiful. It's not like I am living inside a ten-floor building or something but it's just that the size of the houses is quite normal here, just like a village from a medieval fairy tale.

"It has the potential to become a fairy tale but it's just not possible; because of people like them." I barely get a look of the vegetable seller from my window surrounded by women of all ages.

Although it has happened every single day since I arrived here, I can't get used to it. It's just too hazardous for my mental strength. I will not be surprised if I enter the coma once again while having a nice sleep.

I look at the glass window and unlock the latch from the corner of the window. I try to slide normally in a humane way but it doesn't flinch. I apply some force but it doesn't seem to direct any look at me.

"Now that it has come to this…" With the eyes sharp as laser and expressions clean as the river, "You have left me with no choice!" I bulk up myself and tighten my biceps. Holding the small latch with both hands in the opposite direction, I use the power that I had sealed for so long after getting betrayed by my comrades and the ones I loved. I have been reborn and this time, I won't leave any stone-ah, wait, wait, I am going in the wrong direction.

So, ehm, I push the latch to the other side with all the power I can squeeze out from my body, just after waking up. After getting a feel of the wildness hidden inside me, I start to surpass my limits which in turn backfires at me. My eyes closed, my body vulnerable and the nuts getting loose, they are all connected, the conspiracy of destiny against me.

Obscure to me, the latch suddenly breaks off and I am thrown sideways, against the table. "Pugh!!" My backbone collides with the steep sidelines of my wooden table, turning my entire morning upside down just like every other day.

"Ow, heh; At least the window opened up." I look at the cold breeze of the morning passing through my room and perceive it as a wind of victory against such a formidable opponent.

I stand up with slight difficulty, a rebound probably, and move towards the open air. As I put my first leg in its field of vision and turn my head contra to the open window, the sudden gust of the chilly wind gives my body simultaneous goosebumps, instantly opening up all my nerves and increasing the flow of adrenaline inside my body. That's right, it's making me enthusiastic for what's to come next.

This is one way of looking at reality but no, neither am I that naive nor are my five senses damaged, so I can see and hear everything. It's still chilling but the crowd has started to move around.

"That perverted creak has nice witted moves on his hunts." I look at the old man selling the vegetable together with his wooden trolley, "I can't tell if his eyes are on his materials or they are getting fascinated by those married ladies." He is a true pervert and that's his talent.

"Even though it's frustrating, I accept it and respect him for that." With a frustrated look but a hysterical smile on my face, I turn back, together with the broken latch, and move towards the closet.

I open the closet and take out a plain black box from inside. Are you curious about what's inside? Well, you will see it in a moment.

I open the box and in front of me are six other broken pieces of latch sitting silently inside. Now, now, four of them including the current one have been broken by me but the remaining three…? My guess would be that they were broken by this body, a few years ago. We are both quite used to it if that's the case.

I put the latch inside the box and keep it inside the closet. Uh, how will I close the window now? I will tell her about it once I reach downstairs, in exchange for some scoldings.

Regardless, what time is it right now? I feel like it's still too early in the morning since the sun's not up yet. I am kind of feeling sleepy but the noise won't let me so I should just start my day now.

I pick out some clothes to wear from the closet and open the entrance door of my room. The structure of this house is simple. A stair connecting this floor to the ground floor and a short corridor with two more gates on the same side beside my room.

My room is at the corner so I move past the storeroom and stand directly in front of the washroom. Yeah, it's time to brush my teeth and wash my beautiful body.

I close the door and turn on the tap for the hand basin. I pick out the multi-colour brush from the pocket hanger beside the mirror. I know I am being too deep and dense wasting all the time in such useless descriptions but regardless, I love going deep, you know.

I put the paste on the toothbrush and start the carnival.

There's a kind of feeling that's tingling ever since I woke up. I feel like something is tickling my stomach from inside. One of the many symptoms of nervousness. I wonder what will I do after I reach there. There will be many other students and teachers.

"What if they start talking to a semi-hikikomori (shut-in introvert) like me out of nowhere?! Wouldn't it be awkward?" Eek, that squeeze in my stomach increases.

I splash my face with the water and look at the mirror.

Azure-colored strands of leaf-like hair covering my frontier, sliding back to the end of the neck. They are a perfect size, a mid-long, just my favorite. The shining black blending with the corners of my hair, acting as a catalyst to the allurement.
