6 Tourists

Lanie's grandmother was the right hand of the mayordoma. When the tragedy happened, she was not at the mansion. She was tasked to buy something so she left Lanie there. The authorities were already fixing the scenes when she arrived at the mansion. They didn't know that Lanie was there. She was hiding in the maids' closet. When her Grandmother Cesille saw her, she waited for the police to finally go before she got her. They moved to her province and lived a peaceful life there. Years have passed since Lanie graduated from college. She decided to go to Manila to look for a job. Her grandmother didn't approve but when they heard about the Gerpacio's massacre, saying that it was already closed, she finally agreed. She agreed even though she knew there were chances she would meet those kinds of people.

"Grandma, I will go to the falls," Lanie said to her grandmother who was taking a nap in her rocking chair on their balcony. "Take care! Enjoy!"

She put her gym bag on her shoulder that contained her clothes. She was wearing shorts and a white v-neck shirt. Inside was her black two-piece bikini. She was also wearing a hat. She walked for about 15 minutes to get there. It's okay, she appreciates nature while she's walking.

When she arrived at the falls, she was the only one there. The water is crystal clear. The sound of water and birds are the only one she hears. The place looks so magical. Lady is smiling while looking around. The crystal blue water seems so calm today.

She went to one of the cottages near her and put her things there.

"Calmness..." She whispered while smiling. She even took a photo of the falls and posted it on her social media account.

She also took a video of the whole place and posted it again. She put her phone on the stone and angled it so that it could capture the whole fall. She took off her shirt, exposing her black bikini top. There are no other people except her here, so it's okay. She set the timer and quickly climbed to one of the large stones near the falls. First shot, she is standing while looking up at the falls. In the second shot, she is facing the falls so it captured her back. She sits down in the third shot while calmly watching the water. The photos turned out great as expected.

She stayed sitting before deciding to take a dip. She'll enjoy this before the people come. She took off her shorts and put them on the stone, she also placed her phone there. She is floating while looking at the sky and trees. It is very relaxing, especially when she closes her eyes.

She wishes she didn't see that tragedy. If she didn't see that, her life is at peace right now and she is living a happy life. Far away from the fears and enough of hiding.

She thinks that maybe, it's time for her to speak the truth like Dra. Kyline wants? Maybe, if she reveals the truth she can now live a better life. But, what about the consequences before that? Will she be safe? Will her Grandma Cesille be okay?

She opened her eyes and lifted her right hand, reaching the sky. "How? Where will I start?" She mumbled.

She immediately composed herself and drowned her body until the water reached her chin when she heard noises. People start to come. She saw two men and one woman wondering about the places where they were. They look in her direction but she can't see their faces well because they are quite far from her. But she was aware that those two men are older and the girl beside them is her age. They went to the cottage beside mine and put their things and food there.

'Maybe they are tourists?' She said in her mind.

But the two boys are quite familiar to her, she can't remember where and when she saw them.

She swam to the big stone where she placed my shorts and phone. She felt the coldness when she went up but it changed in heat because she felt they were staring at her so she quickly put on her shorts and went to her cottage without looking at them. She got her towel and dried herself. Some of her hair strands stick on her face so she gets them and puts them at the back of her ear.

"Hello! Are you a tourist, too?" She was surprised when the girl suddenly appeared in front of her. She felt awkward. She looks at the men she is with. One is looking at her while the other is busy with his cell phone.

"A-ah, No. I'm not... but you can also say that."

"What?" The girl tilted her head- wondering what she said. The two men's attention was on her... already.

"I mean, my grandmother has a house here so I went here... just visiting." She explained more. She stared at one of the men, and the girl noticed. She saw her smirking before shaking her head. Lady's eyes became big when she finally noticed who that man was.

"Omg! You were the guy in the VIP suite. At Pyeha Hotel!" He chuckled before walking toward the two girls.

"Yes. I'm surprised that you recognized me. I'm Kieffer, by the way."

"Lady." Her forehead furrowed when he laughed and looked at the other man after she introduced herself. She can't see the man's face well because he is so busy on his phone.

"And I'm Kathy. He's my brother." Kathy said.

"He's also familiar to me. I guess?" Lady pointed out that man, that's why they also looked at him. After that Kathy and Kieffer looked at each other.

When the man finally faced them and removed his shades, Lady's eyes grew wide again.

Lady almost slapped her face for not noticing him quickly. Plus, Tyler looks calm and soft today! Very far from the man she saw, when he visited the hotel!

"Mr. Lancanster." She formally greeted him.
