Chapter one

Grace and one of the nurses tried to stop folake but they were too late, she had pulled off the cannula and blood was gushing and spilling all over the floor. Before anyone knew it, folake was sprinting towards the exit door.there was immediate commotion and uproar as the nurses yelled to the security guards to stop her before she reached the door. But folake was faster.she skipped past the guards except one who was a tall bulky man with strong muscles. He caught her by the waist and pinned her down, but even in her frail state, she was unusually strong, almost as strong as the security guard. while they both wrestled to the ground, the other nurse ran from all directions to the scenes, trying to make folake relax. they did everything but folake was restless and screaming at the top of her voice "let me go!" Nobody could do anything because she was so powerful. she kept screaming and trying to wriggle free. Everyone else stood there begging her, hoping she would calm down long enough for them to stop the excessive blood that had formed a small pool on the floor next to where the security guard held her. And despite the heavy loss of blood, folake was not dizzy or anemic which stunned the nurses-; she still struggle and tried to wriggle free until her mother cried out in frustration.

Folake!" why are you doing this to me? Do you want to kill me before my time?" she asked as she wrote profusely. Just then, folake stopped struggling. her mother had gotten through to her and she had come to her senses. she went limp in the arms of the security guard and quickly, the nurses attended to the open cannula as they introduced a stronger sedative to help her sleep. Gradually, she became weak as she was quickly wheeled off to the intensive care unit to rest. at this time, Grace had collapse and was rushed off too to the intensive care unit moments before folake was admitted. she could not stand what folake put her through. Folake had been stabilized and returned to her ward but she refused to be admitted again. she told them she was okay and should be discharged. Everyone was surprised at her health condition.she had suddenly become hale and healthy. they could not understand or explain what actually happened. it was the news of her mother's condition that broke her heart. she went profusely when she saw her mother in the intensive care unit (ICU) she knew it was all her fault.

Fola oyebade_the man that had an accident with folake, visited the hospital and met all the commotion. He was stunned like others who visited the hospital at that time, he was very confused.

"How did it happen?" he inquired from the nurses on seeing folake I'm such a stable condition..

"we don't know. it's really strange to all of us, the nurses replied. He started feeling uneasy.something was definitely not right about the whole thing. An hour later, folake's father came to the hospital and was surprised to see folake hale and healthy while the wife who was supposed to be at home was on admission.

What happened to my wife? how did she get here?? he panicked. she will be alright, she only needs some bed rest. the doctor assured.

After spending a few minutes with Grace, he walked over to folake and sat besides her.

My dear, how are you feeling? what happened to you and your mother? Folake hung her head, her eyes were blood red, suddenly the tears flowed freely again. her father was quiet. Gentlemen and ladies, I would have to ask you to excuse us for a while so we can attend to her," said the doctor and they obeyed. Asoh later came and was devastated when she saw the situation of things.
