Chapter 5

Outside the mansion, Selene and Emily are walking towards the field at the back. Selene, wearing a red crop top and a black singlet, black shorts, black boots. While Emily is putting on a black singlet with white crop top on top, black shorts and black boots, with her hair tied up.

"So what do you think it would be?", "I don't know Selene I am also nervous", Emily replies to Selene's question.

"I'm scared Lene, what if he tells us to do thirty push ups, I don't think my hands would be able to bear it, or what if he tells us to run twenty laps around the field or worse....the mansion, or what if he tells us to stand under the sun for more than three hours while carrying something very heavy, I don't think I will be able to survive, Lene"Emily cries out looking scared and shaking Selene vigorously almost crying.

Selene started asking herself if Emily is really her older sister, because although she is feeling a little bit scared and also nervous she didn't act this way. Looking at her sister's face she sigh, "calm down Mimi, you're overreacting", she flicks her fingers at Emily's head and takes her hand, "ouch that hurts", Emily says, "stop imagining things and let's go, or do you want our punishment to be doubled?",

"no", Emily shakes her head and wipes her tears. Selene turns and continues to walk as she thought to herself with her eyes half closed , 'I think I might have to ask mom and dad for I and Emily's birthday certificate'.

The were now at the field, they saw their dad and approached him.

"Alright, I'm on my way", Zenos who had been making a phone call before the girls arrived, said in a very cold tone, this time he sounded even more colder than before that the two girls standing beside him could've sworn they saw his eyes getting darker.

'But wait, dad is leaving that means good news for us right?', Selene thought to herself, as a smile slowly creeps it way to her face without her knowing. Zenos turned and sees his daughters smiling,he smirked and said, "just because I'm leaving doesn't mean you two will not train today",

the smile that was on their face seconds ago, slowly faded, "you don't mean.....?", Selene says looking dreadful, Emily looking the same way too.

Seeing the way his daughters face looked right now, Zenos tries to hold back his laughter, he chuckles and touches their hair, "well you better be prepared before she comes, good luck, I hope I see you two at dinner", he leaves the two girls looking horrified.

Who was this person, and why did just saying that she would be the one to training them make them look horrified?

Well it was non other than their own mother, Lucia Han. Just like Zenos, Lucia loves her kids very much, but when she is training them she is on a completely different level, compared to Zenos, she is worse.

"Before, I thought I might die of exhaustion after dad had punished us, but now that it is mom who is going to do it, I think I might just die", Emily says as she slumps to the ground, sitting on the grass.

"Yes, I agree with you", Selene says sitting next to her sister. They sat there in silence for about ten minutes, before Emily said, "but did you notice the way dad's eye color changed when he was on the phone?",

she turns and looks at Selene who was also looking at her, "are you thinking what I'm thinking", she says smirking and looking at Selene with a raised eyebrow.

"Er, no?", Selene says, Emily puts her hand on her face covering her eyes, she sighs and leans forward whispering in Selene's ears, "I think dad is a spy",

"huh", Selene says, Emily nods, "Emily what makes you think that dad is a spy?", Selene says with her eyes half closed.

"I mean, sometimes whenever he makes a phone call, his eyes looks darker, with no facial expression, and one time I saw a gun in his room", Emily says, whispering the last part.

Selene's eyes gets wider, "a gun, you saw a gun in dad's room?", she whispers, "yes I did, and I think I saw blood on it", Emily says stroking her chin.

"Dad can't be spy, how is that possible?", Selene says, "well then can you explain to me why he is so strong", Emily says tilting her head.

"W..well maybe he is a detective, or an officer?", Selene says, Emily looks at her sister with a look that says, 'seriously, an officer', "if he's a detective or an officer, he would've told us", she rolls her eyes.

"Wait, come to think about it, we don't even know our parents profession", Selene says looking as she strokes her chin. "Well I already guessed that dad might be a spy", Emily says sitting in a meditating position.

"WAIT, if dad is a spy then is mom also a spy, I mean she is just as strong as dad is, right?", Selene abruptly leans in, Emily looks at her sister, "hmm, you might be right. But...",

"but?", Selene says as she tilts her head, "I have never seen mom leave the house, but...what if she leaves at night?" Emily says.

The two sisters were sitting in a meditating position facing each other, looking like detectives. Frowning a little Selene says, "so you're trying to say that mom is an assassin?",

"huh, when did I say that?", Emily replies, "well from what you just said, you saw a gun in mom and dad's room with blood on it, dad sometimes leaves when he gets a phone call like what happened not too long ago, and we suspect that he may be a spy, they never for once told us about their profession, mom is really good at fighting and it makes her suspicious, you think she might be a spy and I think she is an assassin, because most assassin do their work at night", Selene says with her eyes looking sharp.

What they said is in fact the truth, Lucia used to be an assassin and a spy, but after she married Zenos, she left the organization that she worked for, well actually, she faked her own death, they did not believe she was dead because she was the best assassin ever and she was someone to fear. But after they saw a body with a face that looks like hers, they stopped looking for her.

Emily looks back at Selene registering what she just said, "hmm" she said closing her eyes, "but you are not sure, are you?", "sadly, yes", Selene says as she sighs.

"So I'm guessing we need to hold a meeting", Emily says, "hmm", Selene says, closing her eyes while nodding.

"What are you two doing?", they heard a voice, they turned and saw their mom with Lucifena, Avery and Xiaoling behind her. 'oh no, she's here'.
