Chapter 10

Harry spent the rest of the month after receiving his wand getting used to his increased magical reserves due to the second stabilizing boost to his magic on his 11th birthday. Harry spent his time at Potter Manor practising all the first year spells non verbally with as less wand movements as possible, as the wards around Potter Manor made it impossible for the Ministry to track underage magic use. Harry had taken to reading books on runes and memorizing the runes in elder futhark and lower futhark as he knew that he would need a solid understanding of runes to perform some rituals to give him a chance to catch up with Dumbledore and Voldemort faster, as rituals don't magically give you skills, they just improve your ability to pick up that skill faster you would still need to work very hard to master that skill.

Harry spent more time on Transfiguration and charms and tried to increase the speed at which he could perform transfiguration and charms spells and also working on his magical stamina i.e.the amount of time he could continuously cast magic without exhausting himself. Harry wanted his basics to be rock solid as they would allow him to learn more complex spells with less difficulty in the future. Other than that Harry spent as much time as he could with both his mothers and his sisters as he would be leaving for Hogwarts and would be missing them greatly as they wouldn't be attending Hogwarts for another three years. Also his grandmother Dorea had gifted Harry with a female house elf named Rosey to act as his personal house elf, Harry had become rather fond of Rosey and appreciated her help greatly as she was highly efficient and was an excellent cook who would make treacle tart for him whenever he wanted.

Harry woke up early on the morning of September 1st and completed his morning rituals and double checked his trunk to make sure that he had packed everything. Harry had also packed a few books he liked from the Potter library in the library compartment of his trunk and also packed the advanced potion making kit his mother had gifted him in the potions laboratory in his trunk. Harry then shrunk his trunk by tapping a rune on the side of his trunk and after packing two books on runes in his feather light charmed backpack which was a gift from his mother Amelia he descended downstairs to have some breakfast and found his mom preparing breakfast while slightly sniffling, Harry who loved his mother very much could not bear to see her like that and immediately went and hugged her and spoke softly, "Mom please don't cry, I promise that I will wright to you and Hya at least once a week and I will be back for Christmas before you know it, " Harry tried to console her and eventually his mother subsided and made him eat a healthy breakfast. They were joined by his sister and Dad who were also sad to see me leaving but his Dad took it better than his mother and sister the latter of whom Harry had to pacify as this was the first time she would be alone without her brother for more than a few days the same as his mother. They had their breakfast and as soon Sirius arrived with his family they headed of to Kings Cross station by side along apparating to an apparition point in Kings Cross station and entered platform 9 3/4 . Harry was amazed on seeing the Hogwarts express as he could feel the immense magical enchantments woven into the train. Harry turned to his family and hugged everyone hiding a tear rolling down his cheek as he would be missing them very much.

Lily and Amelia were very sad to see their son leaving them but reluctantly hugged him and told him, " Harry, study hard and have fun but please don't cause mischief like your fathers and write at least once a week, love you sweetheart and take care. "

James and Sirius just hugged him and pulled him aside giving him a wrapped package, "Harry, this is the Potter ancestral invisibility cloak use it well and cause mischief but don't get caught and take care of yourself, " James and Sirius said and waved him goodbye. Harry bade goodbye to his family and climbed the Hogwarts express to find an empty compartment.
