The Infinity Mage Satoru Vermillion ( V2 )

In the magical Clover Kingdom, where the amount of mana determines whether you are a noble, a commoner, or even a marginalized person on the kingdom's borders, a significant event was taking place inside a huge palace in the royal capital that would change the balance of power in the entire world.

In an isolated room of the Vermillion family's royal palace, the cry of the firstborn echoed. Lady Melina Vermillion, a respected member of the royal family, was holding her child with a mix of exhaustion and ecstasy. Her husband, Lord Aldrich Vermillion, stood beside her, his eyes filled with pride and wonder.

"He's beautiful," Melina whispered, gently touching the baby's pale, soft cheek. "What shall we name him?"

The father whispered, "Satoru. He will be Satoru Vermillion," without knowing how the name came to him.

Suddenly, the child opened his eyes, revealing the most beautiful pair of eyes humanity had ever seen, and with them, a wave of mana enveloped the entire Vermillion palace. These eyes left both Melina and Aldrich so mesmerized that they forgot to breathe for a moment. On that day, the strongest mage in history was born.

Melina, entranced, said, "They are... incredibly beautiful."

Five Years Later...

Satoru grew rapidly, both physically and mentally. By the age of five, his innate magical abilities began to manifest. His parents were astonished by his perfect control and the immense amount of mana he possessed. Unlike other children, Satoru showed extraordinary talent, but it didn't come without flaws as he was quite mischievous and had a frightening desire for sweets.

One evening, as Leopold was clinging to Satoru as usual.

Leopold: "Satoru? Why don't you use your fire magic again?"

Satoru, firmly: "I don't want to."

Leopold, insistently: "Show me."

Satoru: "No."

Leopold: "Show me."

Satoru: "No."

And they continued like this for a while.

Fuegoleon, who was listening from the side: "Satoru-chan."

A vein bulged on Satoru's face: "What did you call me again, uncle?"

Fuegoleon, defending himself: "I meant Satoru-san. How about showing us your fire magic in exchange for a month's supply of cakes?"

Satoru, bargaining: "Three months."

Fuegoleon: "Two months."

Satoru: "Two and a half months, and that's my final offer."

Fuegoleon, resigned: "Alright."

Satoru: "It's called the Sacred Flame," then to himself, "Why did that person's flames follow me to this world?"

Satoru slowly moved his right hand, and a golden flame appeared on it.

Satoru: "These flames have the power to burn the world, but they're not my strongest."

He then raised his middle and index fingers on his left hand: "Cursed Technique: Blue."

Everyone began to feel a strong pull as the flames were sucked into the blue sphere and completely disappeared.

Mereoleona, with a fierce smile: "Grow up quickly, Satoru, so I can fight you."

Aldrich: "Stop it, Mereoleona, don't scare Satoru."

Satoru looked at her: "Don't worry, Auntie. You're too weak to fight me now, let alone when I grow up."

Mereoleona smiled like a madwoman and tried to punch Satoru, but as usual, her hand stopped inches from his face.

Satoru: "See what I mean?"

Ten Years Later...

During the grimoire ceremony, Satoru was waiting boredly as the ceremony began.

Suddenly, a book emitting light like the sun appeared before Satoru. The cover of this grimoire bore a four-leaf clover.

Leopold, proudly: "As expected from my nephew, hahaha!"

Satoru: "It's not over yet."

While everyone admired and the magical records flew to their rightful owners, a coverless grimoire flew to Satoru.

One unimportant character: "How can a grimoire be coverless?"

A Few Months Later...

Satoru's reputation as Fuegoleon's successor as the leader of the Crimson Lion squad spread. But this is Satoru we're talking about, who defied all their expectations. This brings us to the current situation where Satoru stands in front of a food stall.

Satoru, with a skewer of kebab in his mouth: "Hey, uncle, give me more."

After filling his stomach: "Nothing beats eating local food."

Suddenly, a loud child's voice reached his ears. He turned to the source of the sound to find a very short but muscular boy shouting with an aura, "I'm an idiot," speaking to another boy who was tall for his age. What Satoru noticed was the amount of mana the child had.

Satoru, to himself: "This child has more mana than Leopold."

Their eyes met, and Satoru smiled, releasing a crazy pressure that made everyone stop moving and feel like lost ants.

Satoru walked towards them.

Asta, in amazement: "What is this cold feeling? Why did everyone suddenly go silent?"

Yuno: "Asta, it's good you can't feel what we're feeling now," then continued, "Who are you?"

Satoru: "Satoru Vermillion."

Satoru: "Tell me, why do you want to become mages?"

Both, with determination: "To become the Wizard King." Satoru then released his magical pressure from everyone.

Satoru: "What are your names?"

Asta: "I'm Asta from Hage Village."

Yuno: "I'm Yuno from Hage Village."
