Chapter 5: The big misunderstanding

"Hello!"

The pink haired girl greeted with a smile while holding her arms up above her head while looking at Lucias with an innocent and happy expression on her face.

'I wonder if all girls nowadays react like her'

Lucias thought as he remembered the reactions of the girls when they enter the bathroom when he is still inside... naked. There reactions are either of two things harass him or just join him bathe without doing anything.

"Who?"

Lucias asked with a straight face as he let go of his grasp from her soft breast before standing up from the bathtub, revealing his mascular and refined body to the girl inside the tub.

"Oh! I'm sorry for not introducing myself, I'm Lala from planet Deviluke, sorry for suddenly warping into your home"

"Warp?"

"Ta-da! I used this!" 

She energetically explained while showing a weirdly designed bracelet at Lucias.

"The Pyon-Pyon Warp-Kun that I made!"

"Hmm... So why did you choose this place to warp at?" (Lucias)

"Well, It can teleport any organism in a short distance but it is in a random location, I just coincidentally warped into your bathroom"

"Hmm..."

Lucias hummed while observing her before noticng a heart shaped tail on her back, moving like it's a part of her body.

"You're... not human?"

"Yeah! I'm a Devilukean, I'm kind of surprised that you don't look shock from finding out that I'm not a human"

"I've seen worse... so why are you naked?"

"I can't warp my clothes since it is an inanimate object, I told you I can only warp living organisms"

"... Then can you wear some clothes?"

"I can't, I don't have Peke with me"

"Lala-sama!"

A high pitched voice shouted outside the window as it charged towards Lala, hugging her from her chest.

"I'm glad your safe, Lala-sama!"

"Peke! I'm glad you also made it out safe"

She called while hugging the small creature with swirly eyes and two wings on its back.

"Yes! It's a good thing that the spaceship haven't left the earth's atmosphere yet"

The creature said before it looking at Lucias who was watching their reunion.

"Lala-sama, who is this earthling?"

It asked while pointing it's finger at Lucias.

"He is someone who lives at this house"

She answered as a sudden realisation entered her mind before looking towards Lucias.

"Now that you mention it, I haven't got your name yet"

"My name? My name's Lucias"

"So you're name's Lucias. This is Peke, an all purpose costume robot that I made"

"Nice to meet you"

It greeted while still in Lala's embrace.

"Then peke do your thing!"

"Roger!"

"Transform! Dress Form!"

The loudly said before bright light covered its entire body before it started to deform itself, wrapping around Lala's body as it transformed into an outfit, similar to what it wore before.

"Done!"

She says before spinning around in a circle showing off her new outfit to Lucias who was staring at her with a blank expression on his face.

"So... Care to tell me why you risked using an unreliable warping device like that?"

"Well... I had to use it because I was left with no other choices... If I didn't use it I could have been captured by my persuers... I was almost captured if I didn't use it to warp out of my spaceship"

'Persuer? Is she a criminal? ...but based on her quite... simple-minded personality... I think that's not the case... so why is she getting chased? Wait... a spaceship?'

Lucias thought while looking at Lala who was fidgeting and observing something on his lower body with a shocked yet curious face.

"Hoh... I... thought that they're a bit smaller than that"

"..."

Lucias remained silent as left the bathroom to weak his clothes before coming back to talk to her.

"Ahem... Sorry about that, so what do you plan on doing after this?"

"Pardon?"

"You're being persued, right? You can't just stay here, they'll definitely..."

Lucias was cut off as two tall men wearing a tuxedo barged into the bathroom surrounding Lala on her spot.

"You're quite a handful, we should have restrained you until we left the earth's atmosphere"

The red haired man says while staring intimidatingly at Lala.

"Peke..."

"Y-Yes!?"

"I told you, didn't I? That make sure that no one was following you"

"Y-Yes..."

"You stupid robot!! Everything is messed up now, you know!!"

"I-Im sorry"

"What the hell is going on?"

Lucias muttered under his breath while observing Lala throwing a tantrum in the middle of the two men surroundings her.

The red haired man slowly came closer to her causing her to raise her guard up as she cautiously looked at the man in front of her.

"Lala-sama! I suggest that we use the bracelet one more time"

"It's useless, That bracelet needs a day to recharge the energy that is used after being used"

She said to Peke before the red haired man grabbed her arm.

"Now, Let's go"

"No! Let go of me!"

She shouted as she started to struggle to free herself from his grip.

"She's not going anywhere"

Lucias calmly says before freezing the red haired man solid while spreading the ice on the ground as it slowly climbed up towards the other man.

"What the?!"

"Let's go"

Lucias says before carrying Lala in a princess carry before running out of the room, jumping out of the window as he ran away from the house.

"H-How?"

Lala asked in shock from seeing Lucias creating ice out of nowhere to restrain the two men from before.

"You can ask those questions later, we need to shake them off first"

Lucias jumped from roof to roof to escape the 5 men that were following them from behind.

"Tsk... Persistent, [Blink]"

He casted as both of them suddenly appeared at the nearby park close to their house.

"If only they showed hostility and malice I could have just killed them"

He muttered before looking back towards their persuers who for some reason didn't have any hostility directed towards Lala, but only... pure annoyance.

"Stop right there!"

A male voice shouted as a sword was swung towards Lucias. Lucias who saw his sword aimed at her back, immediately used blink while taking out his Murasame from his inventory and pointing at greyish hair and blue eyed man wearing a demonic-like armor.

"Who are you?! And how dare you kidnap our princess?"

He angrily says before charging towards Lucias and swinging his sword sideways. Lucias jumped up and stepped on his blade before kicking his face using a small percentage of his strength, causing the man to crash at the tree, destroying it at impact.

"Ugh..."

"Zastin! Wait, don't hurt them, they didn't mean harm!!"

Lala hurriedly explained to Lucias while being in his embrace causing her to look at the protective and serious expression on her face as he held his sword, defending her from the men surrounding them.

"U-uh..."

She stuttered as her heartbeat instantly raced while her cheeks blushed increasingly red while looking straight at his blood red eyes.

"... Princess?"

'Don't tell me...'

Lucias thought before lowering Murasame while looking weirdly at the blushing mess in his arms.

'Why is her heart beating so fast?'

Lucias thought as he felt her heartbeat against his chest before letting her go from his embrace.

"Yes! The princess and the heir to the throne of Deviluke! How dare you even try to kidnap her"

Zastin shouted while holding his side with a pained expression on his face.

"... Sorry, it seems like I jumped to conclusions. Also why didn't you tell me that you were the princess?"

"T-that is-"

"Nevermind, just return back to your home. Don't cause trouble, ok?"

Lucias helplessly advised her while patting her soft pinkish hair.

"Sorry about that... I didn't actually mean to attack any of you"

"Do you think we'll believe you?!"

"Zastin! Calm down, his right he misunderstood and is only trying to help and protect me!"

"B-but- Lala-sama"

"Stand down!"

"U-understood" 

He reculantly answered before lowering his weapon to the ground.

"Sorry for uh... Attacking you..."

Lucias sincerely apologised to him before stretching out his hand and taking out an hp potion from his inventory.

"Here, drink this and all your wounds will heal... Really sorry"

He placed the bottle of red liquid in his hand with an awkward expression on his face before facing Lala who for some reason was blushing slightly while looking at him.

"... Also, I don't know why you wanted to ran away from your home... but if it makes you feel safe, I'll go with you for the time being... As an apology for hurting your men"

"I-its's alright, b-but can you please? I need your help!"

"Sure, I'll help you out"

Lucias answered without any hesitation while cleaning the blade of Murasame.

"Really?! Thank you!!"

"I-I don't think it's a good idea to bring in a stranger to the Deviluke Territory" (Zastin)

"He is not a stranger, Zastin. He proposed to me before, and I already accepted his proposal!"

"Huh?" (Lucias)

"W-what?!" (Zastin)

Timeskip

"So there you have it, that is basically how you proposed to me"

Lala said as she explained the traditions of her kind in proposing and marriage to Lucias who wore a confused expression on his face while ridding a spaceship, leaving the earth's atmosphere.

"... That was an acc-"

Lucias was about to explain but stopped when a sword was placed on his neck.

"Surely you're not saying that this was a misunderstanding. If you don't love her, how dare you touch the princess' breast!"

"... Do you think that you can kill me, Zastin?"

Lucias threateningly said as he placed his hand on the blade, freezing the entire sword with his magic.

"You!"

"Calm down!"

Lala stepped between them to stop their fight before facing Lucias who had his arms crossed on his chest.

"I-I'm sorry... if I misunderstand, Lucias, but please help me out!" 

"Help you out?"

"Y-yes, the reason why I ran away was because they kept pushing male suitors at me to force me in finding a husband... I couldn't take it anymore so I ran away from home"

"Then just find another man that will agree to pretending to be your fiancé"

"I-I can't, I tried to before, but it failed when he suddenly got clingy, planning to seriously marry me"

"... *Sigh* then find another one"

"I-I can't trust them anymore"

Lucias suddenly walked towards her causing her to step back until she was placed in the corner of the room, trying to copy the priest of the church that they stayed at before. 

He placed his arm on the wall behind her as he stared directly at her quivering pinkish eyes before moving his head closer to her ear.

"Then why do you trust me? I'm a 'man' as well you know, I might do something to you when we're alone, princess"

He whispered in a deep yet quite voice before gently licking her ear causing her to jolt in surprise as her face blushed increasingly.

'W-why do I feel like this?'

She thought as she placed her arms on her chest before bowing her head, avoiding making eye contact with Lucias.

'With this, she must be disgusted of me now, the priest from before has always done this in the past, and the results are always the same, they get pushed away by the nuns while looking at them like they are trash'

"P-please be gentle"

Lala muttered before bracing herself for his next actions, causing Lucias to look at her in confusion.

'That's weird... Did I made a mistake? No that's impossible, I followed their every action... So why is she reacting so differently... maybe I should try their other techniques'

Lucias thought before lifting her chin up to face her causing her to dazedly look at his blood red eyes filled with desire and lust, kissing her neck gently while his hands wrapped around her hips and her back, pulling her closer to Lucias.

"Ah... Mnn"

She moaned from the sudden foreign feeling spreading around her body as she felt her strength slowly leaves her body from every kisses that he plants in her body.

"Ahh... Lucias"

"Ahem... I was wrong for questioning your love to each other, but please don't flirt in public"

Zastin reminded, waking Lala up from her daze as she hurriedly separated from Lucia's with an extremely bright red face before running away towards her room.

'That's weird... Her reactions is so different from what I expected... Why is she reacting so differently when I perfectly copied their actions'

A voice called out behind him causing him to close the notifications before turning his head around to see who called him.

"Please take care of Lala-sama, she never reacted that way to any other men so she must have truly loves you so please take care of her and make her happy"

Zastin says seriously while looking directly at Lucias' blood red eyes.

"A-ah o-ok"

He answered in a daze as Zastin patted his shoulder before walking out of the room with a genuine smile on his face, leaving him alone inside the room.

"...What the hell happened?"
