Run away

Sometime in the past (Teen Christopher's pov)

As I got closer it was like Mazaya could sense my presence she turned around and looked at me. When she seen it was me she looked away fast. "Go away Christopher " She said completely emotionless. How gone was she. "I'm not going anywhere. I was worried about you." I said with sadness in my voice. I didn't mean to hurt her this was hard.

"Well I'm fine now you can go." She said obviously trying to talk as little as she could to me. I went to sit down next to her and she teleported away instantly. I was Lucky she only moved. I would not go close to her with the risk Of her disappearing forever. "You can't stay gone forever." I tried to reason with her.

"I can and will, now you can leave. I decided to Live my life as a monk and since we aren't friends anymore you can leave." She said leaving no room for negotiation. To bad for her I came to get her home nomatter what. "There's no more magic you have to come home. It's all gone only Luther and I have magic." I tried to reason.

"So that's how you found me. Well I don't care about the magic and tell Luther if he wants to keep his magic don't help you anymore." She said as she stood up. I knew I had to do something. I grabbed her and turned her around. Tears were in her eyes. I went to hug her but she backed away.

"Listen to me I know you are hurt and I'm sorry but you can't run just because you are sad. It will get better." I tried to reason with her. She laughed making me lose all my resolve. "Mazaya just come home please." I begged.

"No I am never going home. I don't need you or anyone. The moment I got engaged to Luther and couldn't change it I decided to run you just helped speed it up. You have everything you want. And I don't want to hear you anymore. You don't understand what it's like to have nothing go good for you. We're not friends anymore and we never will be." She said as she took off our friendship bond necklace and broke it with her magic.

"You don't mean that you are just upset. We can make a new friendship necklace. It will get better I promise. You still have me and." I couldn't finish my sentence because she was interrupting me. "We are not friends. We are nothing. You broke my heart and I'm done with you. I wasn't good enough to be your girlfriend, so you're not good enough to be my friend. I hate you. I hate that you have everything while I have nothing. Go away now before I destroy everything." She said with no hint of emotion in her voice. She was lost.

I hesitated for a second until I saw the Gold radiating off of her hands. "Now. Leave before I go and find the Goddess of Chance and kill her." She said her voice vacant of any emotion. I teleported away with the weight of the world on my shoulder. Mazaya just needed some time that's all. That's the lie I told myself to sleep at night as my whole world seemed to be crashing.

Weeks went by and Mazaya still hasnt came home. Magic was still off and Luther put up security so I couldnt barge into his office. I didn't have it in me to knock on his door so I just bid my time. I went to the mortal park atleast 3 times a week and she never was there. She really was gone. The magical world was a mess and all I could do was mope. Atleast I had my girlfriend to help.

A knock sounded on my door. I wasn't going to answer it. My dad couldn't get through my door without magic so it's been like this for weeks. He would knock on my door and I would ignore him. Magic bring gone was atleast good for something. After the first week of my father yelling I made it sound proof so now all I could hear is the knock nothing more.

I closed my eyes planning on completely ignoring him not al all expecting for my door to be abruptly opened. I jumped out the bed to come face to face with Luther and Exodus Mazayas father. My dad was behind them but he was acting like a cat with his tale stuck between it's legs.

"It's been hard to get ahold of you." Luther said as he looked at my room that was most likely the complete opposite of his. I had band posters everywhere. While most Gods only did Mundane things because they were bored. Mazaya and I actually enjoyed the simple things that the mortals had to offer.

"I've been in my room or out." I said not really caring that my tone said I didn't have time for them. "Well it seems like my daughter is throwing a tantrum and has run away I gave her time and now her time is up. It's time for her to come home." Exodus said bitterly.

"I tried to get her home as soon as I left Luther's office but she said she refused to marry Luther and since I denied her she decided to run away earlier then expected. Her exact words were she was living a monk life. When I told her the magic was not working she didn't care." I said deciding to not hold back any of the truth.

"Let's go it's time we have a serious talk." Exodus said. Before I could figure out what was happening Luther grabbed both of us and teleported out.
