Sylvan

Sylvan Pines is a small place. Everyone's lives are intertwined. One disappearance takes a piece out of everybody's heart, and Bluejay believes it's his fault for losing Taro. Two years later, Bluejay- the middle child of a family with one absent father and 3 brothers from separate relationships, is a boy not so easily coerced. He doesn't know if its the constant absence of their father or the backstabbing remarks of his "friends" that fuels his drive to find Taro, but he knows he must. If only he wasn't now deathly afraid of the woods where he was last with him. Bluejay's older brother, Gerdie, is all that he has, but as Blue's mind drifts farther and farther away from reality, Gerdie becomes afraid he might lose him altogether. Taro isn't the only child that the forest of Sylvan Pines has taken. And there must be a reason why their father can't be near Blue without remembering the reason he works abroad. Over time Blue realizes something is wrong with him, but he wonders if wrong is the right word. Once the few things that hold Blue's interests are gone, he resorts to watching people. No one in particular. Just whoever he can with his failing vision and hearing. Then he gets sick. Deathly ill to the point where no one knows what's wrong. Gerdie tries to help him before he's too far to reach. He puts things that he remembers together and the story begins to fall into place. Either it's his innocent little brother, or something inside of him.

Silk and Shadows

Synopsis: In the sprawling metropolis of Xīyù City, where ancient traditions collide with modern ambitions, a clandestine empire emerges from the shadows, weaving a complex tapestry of crime, power, and family. At the heart of this enigmatic underworld is the illustrious Liang Clan, a Chinese triad with a penchant for secrecy and an insatiable appetite for control. As the Liang family navigates the delicate balance between honor and ruthlessness, they find themselves entangled in a web of alliances and betrayals that span continents. The patriarch, Liang Wei, a shrewd and charismatic leader, is faced with the challenge of preserving tradition while adapting to the ever-changing landscape of global crime. At the crossroads of cultures, the Liang family forms strategic alliances with South American cartels, creating a formidable alliance that shakes the foundations of both hemispheres. The intoxicating allure of power, wealth, and influence draws in unlikely players, including an ambitious American detective, Emily Rodriguez, determined to dismantle the empire from within. As alliances fracture and loyalties are tested, Silk and Shadows explores the intricate dance between crime and honor, family and betrayal. Amidst the neon-lit skylines of Xīyù City, the lush jungles of South America, and the gritty streets of American cities, the Liang family's story unfolds—a tale of legacy, vengeance, and the high stakes of living in the shadows. Prepare to be immersed in a world where the scent of incense mingles with the acrid tang of gunpowder, and where the line between righteousness and sin becomes as blurred as the fine silk threads woven by the Liang family. In Silk and Shadows, the struggle for power transcends borders, leaving a trail of broken alliances, shattered loyalties, and a legacy that will echo through generations.

The Cursed King's Blind Mate

His mind was full of the softness of the young woman in his arms. His arms were around her waist and he could feel how supple and flexible she was. She was also thin. Too thin that he was beginning to wonder if he was holding a stick. He had seen the young maidens of the kingdom and knew they weren't like that. The cape had been pulled off Lyca's face so her facial features were clear to see. But, her eyes widened and she was shaking her head frantically to understand what was going on around her. Fenrir had seen many beauties and attractive maidens that made men fall at their feet. Lyca wasn't considered the most beautiful of them all. But, it was an understatement to say she was merely pretty. Her hair was packed in a simple bun outlining her face. She wasn't fair-skinned. Instead, she had an even lighter skin tone. It was creamy white like the color of an elephant's tusk. Her skin was smooth and soft without any blemishes. Coupled with that, she had a small oval-shaped face. Her eyelashes were black and long. She had a pair of heart-shaped lips that were light red. She wasn't putting on lipstick. Her lips were naturally red. The only sharp contrast was her pair of white-colored eyes. *** Lyca was born blind. She was the daughter of the king of the Sloan kingdom. She was born of an illicit affair between the king and his daughter. An identity scorned by the people. All her life, Lyca had been scorned and bullied by people. But what happens when Lyca finds herself in the largest Empire on the continent and is the King's personal servant? She had been hurt all her life and only wanted to live well. But what will she do when she catches the eyes of the most exalted entity in the kingdom? Not only is she unable to live peacefully, but she also finds herself being dragged into a lot of drama.
