Chapter 26: The Met Gala(pt2)

Sky's P.O.V

"Is that a hickey?"

My heart was pounding so hard in my which as I quickly turned my gaze over to Hushy who in fact had his head to the desk but I knew he wouldn't blow his cover so I had to make things up.

"Ah this one? I burnt myself with a curler earlier." I reasoned out which totally amazed me because I didn't stutter.

Bluve on the other hand just bought what I said. I felt guilty lying to him since he never lied to me before.

"I see." He just replied.

Soon after I heard the classroom door, opened.

There I saw the rest of the group. Sergio, Phoebe, Chloe, Meadow, Chummy, Alpha came inside. Come to think of it, Chippy went missing for a week now.

"Ah kaya pala hindi namin kayo makita kanina sa labas." Chummy said.

I then gave her a very sheepish smile. But then so we all heard the speaker announcement.

"Welcome, Highfallians. Today we are celebrating our 38th met gala this very evening. Please proceed to the gymnasium for the celebration to start. I hope you will all have a great time!"  The male announcer announced.

"Ah, nakakapagod! Ni himdi pa nga kami naka-upo!" Chloe complained but then there I saw Bluve patting her shoulders and smiled.

Never have I ever mention it before but Chloe was actually wearing a very sky blue to fade purple satin Off Shoulder dress With lots of Sequins and Florals.

It was beautiful. Di ko lang napansin kanina kasi naabit na sa ibang universe ang isip ko.

But lemme get you straight. The girls look pretty in sight, Like Chummy who came in a very different style wore a very dreamy dress, not like ours ni Chloe na bonggang bongga.

Chummy have this Pastel tube Dreamy Unicorn Themed Dress.

And it freaks me out cause she looks like she was about to get married than she looks like than getting in prom.

Meadow on the other hand, I don't know why she was wearing a short dress. Isn't she gonna dance? But either way she looks stunning but I must say she really love covering her arms.

She wore the Vintage Trench Coat of our school with a huge skirt. She looks like like a Gothic President.

Phoebe lastly, the unexpected birdie threw me off with her unexpected gown, she was like A-MA-ZING! She was wearing a neon dress, never thought she had that very hidden fashionista in there. But to be honest, yes her dress is fashionable but it always hit me that if I look closely it looks like  colored toilet paper was over her dress.

But don't get me wrong! I love it! Really, never thought she could pull that off especially her hair is Violet. She literally looks like she just came out of a fairy tale.

"So punta na tayo? Feeling ko kasi kaunti-kaunti nalang ang mga estyudante. At pwede na tayo hindi mag siksikan sa labas." Sergio started.

"O sige," sabay-sabay na sagot namin lahat.

Pag labas namin, it was easy  to say na wala na talagang student and there we went to the entrance of the gym which looks pretty much like a wedding themed entrance.

As we opened it, Lights and colors came straight to blind eyeballs.

The room was beautiful, it looks like something that came out from outer space.

As we walked across the room, there is pretty much plenty of tables around the whole gymnasium so we all picked the

Center able cause, there's actually no logical reason.

Then after that napaupo na kami at bigla-bigla namang dumating ang mga VIP at mga ibang teachers.

Bigla rin naman namatay ang ilaw at umakyat si Shadow sa stage.

Then nang nasa itaas na siya ay bihla naman siya nagsalita.

"Welcome fellow, Highfallians. This is our night gala in which everybody is expected to enjoy. Dance and party to your heart's content cause this provided gala is a party unlike no other. I surely assure that you'd have a great time in here. I am the council president speaking, and I am honored that some guests put of school have checked upon us. I also hope you all have a good time, now let's begin our party with a dance now shall we?"

He said as bumaba sa siya sa stage. Then music starts to play and Then my gaze quickly turned into Bluve.

His head then turned to me, and he then smiled. I couldn't help but drawn my gaze into his, he's just so perfect if you know what I mean.

His tight fittting tux was perfectly shaping his body, and By seeing this I would always get flustered so I'd look away if My face couldn't handle his presence.

Then the music starts, and he began lending his hands.

"May I have this dance?" He asked and looked at me straight to the eyes.

I just smiled at him and took his palms, gosh. My hands are starting to sweat because of my nervousness.

But the fact that he didn't say anything about it made me much more comfortable.

I then looked at other directions, Chummy was dancing with Alpha, Chloe with Hushy, Meadow with Shadow and Phoebe with  Sergio.

We began dancing to our heart's content but Between Bluve and I, Nothing else really mattered and that amazes me.

Then I suddenly felt a gush Inside of me wanting to be let go and free. But that gush feeling only requires me to look at Bluve and I could feel my heart racing and that center of my mind was beginning to get blank when I looked at him.

"You're beautiful." I said as my gazes went down to his lips.

"I'm not, But you are." He replied jokingly in which I gave him a soft nudge.

As we were dancing, I was observing my other group of friends dancing. Alpha and Chippy was dancing but their gazes didn't met each other's, Chloe and Hushy on the otherhand looks like they were having a good time, Meadow and Shadow was hugging close and looks like the have been talking for the rest of the dancing and Phoebe and Sergio was quarreling about which dance move they'll do next.

The sight of my friends amazed me, I have never seen them like this. Just only because they have powers, I could simply forgot that they also know how to enjoy their lives.

Then suddenly, the music stopped. It's time to go back to our original seats.

I wasn't that disappointed, But I really didn't like the feeling that we would stop dancing and go back to our seats because that could really ruin a 'good quality time'.

Then while getting in our seats, Chloe, Chummy and with a Girl named Andrea proceeded to the stage.

Demi and I also made our way backstage for the upcoming model runaway this year.

"Bonjour, darling." She greeted me.

I waved at her.

"Ah, such a pity you couldn't wear that beautiful gown but tonight you'd be wearing a gown as beautiful as that for the runaway, okay?"

I just nodded. Then Taking off my clothes, I quickly changed into a small fitting gown. It have beautiful sequences but I kinda actually don't like it.

Demi dressed up beautifully, she wore a denim dress which was very exquisite and very fine.

"You look stunning! A million masterpieces can't be compared to you!" She excitedly exclaimed while jumping.

"T-thanks..." I just replied while scratching my head.

I quickly took a peak outside and saw the judges, judging the  girl group debut.

The judges have straight strict faces, I looked at the Judges one by one and I couldn't believe what I just Saw.

Okay, Shadow is fine but how in the world is Meadow a judge? I gulped, no one is gonna fool that kid. She doesn't pick by biased.

I could see some girls performing, there is Chloe and Chummy with a unicorn and a bunch or preppy girls on stage.

They wore a crop top with white mini skirt. It's actually cute how they bounced in the stage, they look like barbie dollies.

And when their performance finally finished, they quickly bounced off the stage and It's our runaway time. The judges we're still writing their scores.

But then suddenly the lights turned off.

And when It opened, everybody was shocked. Arcane was in the stage his hands was bruised and dripping with blood.

The judges face didn't budge. But I could feel that my eyeballs are gonna pop off.

Blood came gushing towards Arcane's hands. He's almost sharply sucking air. Or he's gonna die, right here, in front of the whole Crowd.

"H....Help me...." he pleased as he reached out his hands.

I could then see Chummy entered the stage.

Chummy trembled but her hands kept on reaching Arcane's but as soon as she reached it, she felt nothing, no pain, no violence and there she rushed to Arcane's aid.

"I-I want to save you! W-What do I do?!" Chummy panicked.

"A kiss." The white haired fellow whispered.

Chummy's face ran out of color and her pale face was exactly matched with her white bloody gown.

"W-what?"

"A kiss.....it's what I need to heal me."

"T-there must be some other way!" She screamed.

Then Arcane's hands touched her face gently.

"There should be another way, Prince Tolan!" She screamed.

Prince Tolan? Who? I shuddered as I looked at them in the stage.

"Princess Flora, This would be my last goodbye." He said and he kissed the back of Chummy's hands.

Then after that Chummy began to sing, and Some-back up dancers appeared.

What the heck?

Then after that, I realized it was another performance of the Theatre club. It's like some sort of Musical or something.

When They got off the stage, I could see how Alpha looked at Arcane Like he was about to lunge to him.

I shutter at the sight, Then It was finally our runaway turn.
