Chapter 6

Mia sat in her room, staring at the photo of her and Lucas in her hands. They had been dating for a few months now, and things had been going great between them. But now, she was faced with a difficult choice.

She knew that being with Lucas could put him in danger, but she couldn't bear the thought of losing him. On the other hand, if she ended things with him, she would be protecting both of them.

Mia couldn't stop thinking about Lucas and their conversation. She had gone over their conversation in her mind a million times, trying to make sense of her feelings. She loved him, that much was clear, but could she really handle the danger that came with being with him?

She decided to go for a walk to clear her head, wandering through the park as she tried to make a decision. She was so lost in thought that she barely noticed the man who approached her, until it was too late.

"Mia, we need to talk." The man's voice was cold and menacing, and Mia's heart started to race.

"Who are you?" she asked, trying to keep her voice steady.

The man sneered at her. "That's not important. What's important is that you stay away from Lucas. He's involved with things that are dangerous, things that you can't even begin to understand."

Mia's heart was pounding in her chest as she realized the danger she was in. She tried to back away, but the man grabbed her arm, his fingers digging into her skin.

"If you don't stay away from Lucas, you'll regret it. I promise you that." And with that, he let go of her and disappeared into the crowd.

Mia's legs felt like Jello as she stumbled back, trying to catch her breath. She had never felt so scared in her life.

But as she made her way back to her apartment, she knew what her decision was. She couldn't walk away from Lucas, no matter what the danger was. She loved him too much, and she was willing to risk everything to be with him.

She took a deep breath, steeling herself for what was to come. She was determined to face whatever danger came her way, as long as she had Lucas by her side.

She thought about talking to her parents, but she knew that they would just tell her to end things with Lucas. They were always protective of her and her siblings, and they would do anything to keep them safe.

Mia felt like she was stuck between a rock and a hard place. She didn't want to hurt Lucas, but she didn't want to put him in danger either. She wished that she could just run away from all of it and start over, but she knew that it wouldn't solve anything.

In the end, Mia decided to have a heart-to-heart with Lucas. She told him about her concerns and the potential dangers of their relationship. Lucas understood and told her that he was willing to take the risk, because he loved her too much to let her go.

Mia was grateful for his understanding, but she still felt torn. She knew that the decision was ultimately hers, and that she needed to make the best choice for both of them.

But now she had a great task ahead of her, she had to break the news to her family and friends that's she's in love with a werewolf .
