A Nap

The fall leaves fell crunchy into the deep green grass. The house felt warm under my soft toes, as I walked threw the house. Where is everyone? The living room was elegantly decorated, white walls, black picture frames, and magic windows, complementing the black couches and grey floor. There was a love seat, where they often sat, and a chair, with a cozy grey blanket, covered in comfort, where I often found myself.

The larvas toys were nicely put away, their beds made, their distractions, all of them nicely placed on shelves. Everything had a place, even I. Yes. The chair.

It was midday and while the house remains still, I decided it would be best to have my fill of the silence I so rarely had opportunity to enjoy.

As I approached my chair, and cozied into the blanket. I let out a sigh, and a full body stretch. My eyelids fell, and I was a goner.

The door came open, I looked purely for security purposes, and was relieved to see the larva run passed. Yes. Let me sleep. We have lived her for many years, and while the larva were often kind, they also were quite rude. I had better things to do then bother with them. Such as sleep. Right. Sleep...

The house filled with background conversation, none of which took place in my immediate proximity. I breathed deeply and calmly as everything was as it should be. While I dreamed of finer things, She came over and placed a caring hand on my back. I looked at her has she gently stroked my long soft spine and proceeded to caress my chizzled chin. It was nice, I let out a warm sound of pleasure then I simply stated "What? I'm taking a f*cking nap right now."
