In this modern age where science and technology dominates the world.
Humanity had managed to advance greatly onto further heights and made boundless achievements within the past centuries.
Possessing great strength, intelligence, and wealth. Mankind stood on top of the pyramid for millenniums, conquering the earth which no creatures on it was their rival.
But everything changed instantly when the Great Catastrophe occurred.

It occurred precisely on the 28th September, 2012.
When everyone was busy minding their own business as usual, the sky suddenly turned red and the clouds became darker and thunderous.
In a panic yet filled with curiosity, people gathered up on the streets and took out their phones and cameras while pointing them towards the skies.
That was when they witnessed a horrifying, never before seen phenomenom transpiring before their very eyes. A large swirling dark mass analogous to that of a portal appeared above the city, causing a huge commotion.
These swirling dark mass then continues to make their appearance in other parts of the world, varying in different size and colour. While people across the world were busy taking pictures and recording, some quickly sought for shelter fearing the worst.
And those who did made the right decision, for what occurred next was a straight up massacre. Vile and dread looking beasts and creatures poured out from these portals like raindrops, landing on the ground with sheer destructive power; crushing the buildings and people below them.
This year was known as the darkest year in human history which would later be preserved for generations and never forgotten...

Fast foward to a decade later, we find ourselves in the storyline of Rowen Helbert.
A 21 year old university drop-out student who lives his life comfortably by renting a small apartment in Berlin while working small part-time jobs.
Since the cataclysmic event that occurred several years ago, he dreams of becoming an awakened person; humans that possesses supernatural powers and abilities, and wanted to become a hunter.
A newly inaugurated occupation made by the government that protects humanity from the monsters and attain immense wealth and fame for risking their lives on the line.
However, his dreams were crushed as he had never managed to awaken despite waiting patiently for more than a decade and thus, diverted himself into an ordinary life.
One day however, a mysterious man in black clothing approached him as he was on his way home and handed him an invitation letter from an unknown and mysterious organization whom he'd never heard of.
He decided to accept it simply out of pure curiosity and thought of it lightly.
But little did he know, the moment he received that letter... his fate was destined to become something much bigger than that of a mere hunter...
