The Chronicles of the Stick Emperor

This is the story of Tang Yao, and how he rode to fame in the famous game called Reverie. Tang Yao is a high school student, that is a bit out of the ordinary. He is an expert at martial arts, and an extremely intelligent child. However, he moved to America when was 8 years old, due to his grandpa dying after falling down the stairs. His parents moved to America because, they wanted Tang Yao to give up martial arts and to stop practicing them. Which led to enmity between them, the only people that Tang Yao cares about is his slightly obese friend Alexander, and his dear sister Jie Yao. Tang Yao lives, a leisure life without having to worry much about food, or money. However all of that will change, after both his parents experience a fatal car crash... [Watch out for spelling, or grammar mistakes. Apologies in advance =) Please Enjoy!] This is also more of a comedic novel, so if you don't like that. Well... that kinda sucks, but its your loss. ***Quick Note, there will probably be a lot of profanity used.*** Also PS this story is about an insanely op charcter, if you dont like that then this story is not for you. Like really OP

Chapter 45 - Magic Competition Part 4

The people following Tang Yao, saw that he turned around and started walking towards them. Normally they would try to hide, but they couldn't move because it was extremely crowded. As Tang Yao got closer to them, they got more and more anxious, if they were discovered it would be extremely troublesome.

However, to their relief Tang Yao just walked right by them. However unknown to them, Tang Yao had already put a few explosives on them. He would of put a few million, but he couldn't since it would most likely level the city. He just put enough to completely destroy a room that was about 10x10 feet. Once there were no people around the followers, he would blow them up.

Tang Yao decided to walk to the slums of the city, as there weren't nearly as many people, and it would cause less of the commotion. It only took roughly 15 minutes to get there, by walking, by now the people following him, had more than enough room, for Tang Yao to freely blow them up.

Tang Yao turned around and said, "Explode!"

As soon as the followers heard those words, they felt their body turn cold, "They didn't get to feel anything before they died."

Several people opened their doors to see a huge crater in the middle of the street, filled with items dropped from the NPC's. The people who lived in the slums were generally extremely poor, so when they saw an opportunity to get some money, they immediately ran towards the pit in hope of grabbing a few items, that they could sell to get out of the slums.

Before long, there were hundreds of NPC's fighting each other for the weapons.

However, this was unknown to Tang Yao, as he just teleported back to the waiting room in the magic competition.

The waiting room served as a place to train, wait, and sleep. As this was to help prevent the contestants from being killed by the servants of other contestants, or being robbed.

Tang Yao was about to go to sleep in his room, when Gandalf walked him clumsily, and obviously drunk. He immediately fell on the floor, and was unconscious. Tang Yao didn't want Gandalf to puke all over the waiting room, so he used telekinesis and moved Gandalf to the bathroom, and put his head over the toilet bowl.

Tang Yao then went to sleep, when he woke, he went to bathroom and not to his surprise it stank like hell, Gandalf puked all over the bathroom, the only spot he didn't puke was in the toilet. Gandalf also defecated in his pants.

"I'm definitely not using this bathroom." said Tang Yao before shutting the door of the bathroom, and leaving, to check on his next match. To his surprise his next match was in 2 minutes.

This time his opponent was a little girl.

He felt a little bad, as he blew up his opponent, causing her to cry, for the 2nd round he let her play with Rimuru for a little bit before Tang Yao used telekinesis and lifted her off the arena, DQ'ing her because she left the arena.

Most his other matches was uneventful, he just blew them up to smithereens, before they event get the chance to do anything. Some of his opponents were unhappy with this, and told the referee that he was cheating.

They said that there was no way that Tang Yao could cast a spell that fast, and he must of been preparing the spell before the match started.

However, the referee said, that the system would automatically detect when they were casting the spell, and that there was no possible way to cheat.

Before long, it was time for his last match of the day, apparently he was going up against the person that was voted 3rd most likely to win the magic competition.
