Sophia was in anxious wait for Tyler to come back from the doctor's office and tell her what was happening.
It's been a few minutes since the surgery ended, and the attending doctor had asked Tyler to join him in his office after stepping out from the theatre.
From the grave look on the doctor's face, she suspected something was wrong, but she hoped she was mistaken.
She didn't want anything to happen to Tyler's mom. Besides the fact that it would break him, and she didn't want that for him, Carroll was a lovely lady and didn't deserve any of this.
She didn't deserve to be beaten and hurt the way Tyler's father had done to her. Cold chills still curled through her spine whenever the sight of Tyler's mom sprawled on the ground in a pool of her blood speared through her mind.
Sophia rose from her seat the moment she saw Tyler approaching, and she hurried to meet him, "What did the doctor say?" She anxiously asked.
