Can't Give Up.
Sophia's heart raced as she went to join Alex in the living room after she and Vanessa were done washing the dishes and Vanessa left for the bedroom.
Sophia sat down on the couch next to Alex, and watched him anxiously as he set up the game console before handing her a game controller. She gazed at the controller he stretched out to her before reluctantly accepting it.
She had thought he only mentioned teaching her how to play as an excuse to talk about her little secret without Vanessa being present, but clearly it wasn't it.
"It's called the dual sense controller. It's specifically made for the latest playstation model." He said as he faced the screen where the game was starting up.
"The PS5?" Sophia asked softly, and he gave her a nod.
Her gaze moved towards the white colored console sitting on the television stand, almost looking like a projector and her brows thoughtfully furrowed.
