A tear rolled down from the corner of my eye and I quickly wiped it away but Finn seemed to have already taken notice of that.
"Why are you crying? Tell me." His voice was maintained. Even after all the trouble we were into, he never seemed to lose his composure. He knew the influence of emotions on the magic and maybe that is why he had a perpetual serene visage which reflected most of his mental state as well.
I didn't know what to answer him. All I could think about was the time slipping away from my hands as I keep on making mistakes and demons getting several steps ahead of me.
"I . . . I am afraid the person who has been possessed might be in trouble. Whoever it is, they were not meant to be involved in this and just because of me, their life is at risk." I said with a shaky and breathy voice of mine which was barely audible. It came out like a low whisper but Finn seemed to hear it.
He uncrossed his legs and leaned a little forward.
