With his new legs, the bandit leader got up. His face twisted with anger as he glared at Vivian.
"NOW YOU'VE DONE IT, YOU BITCH OF PRIEST! THERE'S NO TURNING BACK NOW!"
Vivian didn't hear the threats that the bandit leader made, she was more focused on his new legs, causing her to blink a couple of times if she was imagining things or not.
What is that...?
The bandit leader's new legs had an ethereal pale-grayish color on them. And although it still was somewhat "humanoid" in a sense, it also wasn't. It was abnormally thin and ripped to the point there was almost no body fat, including hair. It had knees, but the feet were more like large hands with black-colored sharp nails.
"A-A demon worshipper!" the old woman exclaimed.
Vivian's brows knitted together and titled her head to the side.

This is a demon worshipper...?
No matter how many times Vivian looked at it, it looked more like an alien lifeform rather than a demonic lifeform.
"KYAAAH!!!" one of the female teenagers screamed, causing Vivian to turn and look what was happening.
The bandit that was fighting the driver also transformed.
A new pair of arms burst out of his ribs. Just like the bandit leader's legs, they too had a pale-grayish color on them, they were thin and ripped with no body fat, the hands were too large with black and sharp fingernails, And also, there wasn't a single strand of hair on them. However, there was one difference -- no, two differences, each arm was long, at least as long as the bandit's body and had 2 elbows that looked more like a spider's arms rather than a human or humanoid.
The demon bandit rushed towards the driver and grabbed him.

His 2 human hands stabbed him with daggers, while his 2 ethereal pale grayish alien-spider-like arms were holding his arms.
"DIE!!!" the bandit leader shouted, catching Vivian's attention.
The demon bandit leader raised his hand and activated 2 spells.
[Lesser Chaos Enchant].
A light-red-colored lighting appeared on his hand
[Earth Arrow].
Wooh!
As soon as the [Earth Arrow] spell began to manifest on the demon bandit leader's palm, the light-red-colored lightning looked like it was being absorbed by the arrow made of out solid mud, making it twice as large, about 30ft, before finally shooting towards Vivian.
Seeing the large [Earth Arrow] coming at her, Vivian raised her left hand to catch it.
Ever since she began training her Magic Art Affinities after joining the Temple of Priests, the only time any elemental arrow that was shot at her by other people and managed to penetrate her body was during the awakening ceremonies for her [Fire] and [Wind Mastery].
Since then, she has never encountered anyone who could penetrate her body with magic except for herself.
But still, given that this enemy had some powers she had never seen before and it was also her first time meeting actual demon worshipers, she decided to proceed with caution.
Chak.
The large [Earth Arrow] managed to penetrate Vivian's left palm a few millimeters before getting stuck on her hand and she caught it.

Both Vivian and the demon bandit leader's eyes turned wide.
In the case of the demon bandit leader, he was surprised of what Vivian did to his Chaos-enchanted [Earth Arrow] with her hand. Sure, she was a Priest and Priest are known to have healing magic making them harder to kill, especially if they're a group of Priests. But for Vivian to block his attack like that, a sense of fear slowly began to creep inside his heart but he immediately squashed it.

Meanwhile, in Vivian's case, the reason why she was surprised was because she wasn't expecting to learn a new mastery right away. On top of that, not only was she confused with the name of the mastery, she was also confused with the name of the skill it came with.

She focused and turned to the demon bandit leader.

She rushed forward and swung her sword.
A thin red diagonal line appeared across the demon bandit leader's body and he separated into two.
Vivian stopped and stared at the demon bandit leader's body, waiting to see if it would regenerate and get up.
She then noticed that the other demon bandit was rushing over her so she focused and turned her head to him.
With the world moving slowly through her eyes, she noticed other things as well.
Both the driver and the old man were dead. In fact, the old man was decapitated and the old woman along with the 2 female teenagers and little boy were crying and hugging his headless corpse.
Vivian returned her glance to the demon bandit.
4 arms, huh…?
The demon bandit's human arms were holding 2 bloodied knives, while the 2 demon or alien-spider-like arms were also covered in blood.
She rushed forward and then jumped behind the demon bandit.

But just as Vivian was about to turn away, an ethereal pale grayish substance appeared inside the demon bandit's body and pulled it back together.
"What the fuck…?" Vivian said and her eyes widened.
The demon bandit tried to do a spin attack but Vivian was already on it.
Whoo-riiip!
Vivian delivered a downward vertical attack with [Power Slash] and a huge chunk of the demon bandit's body was ripped into shreds.
She waited in case the enemy would regenerate.
However, this time around, it didn't and it finally stayed dead.
This is a demon worshipper…?
Tch.
She clicked her tongue.
They're annoying to kill…
It was then Vivian was distracted by the voice of the old woman.
"Hurry up and gather your grandfather and the driver's corpse so that we can resurrect them!" the old woman said to the 3 kids before turning to Vivian. "Priestess, what shall we do?"
"Huh?"
"Should we run or fight the remaining demon worshipers? I'm very sorry, but I'm more adept with my potion-making skills rather than with my fighting skills. And my grandchildren, they are also the same. Only my husband knew how to fight."

They all abandoned the carriage -- 2 ran in 2 opposite directions, while the other 2 charged towards Vivian and transformed, a pair of ethereal pale grayish alien-spider-like arms burst out of their ribs.
"Shit! 2 are escaping!" Vivian cursed.
