Chapter 39

"She's mine, Luca." I heard Xavier growl from behind. I sighed at the thought of having to deal with an angry, possessive Alpha male right now and so early in the morning. You know, all I wanted was some food.

I swear drama just seems to hound me. It's like an annoying fly that won't seem to leave or a mosquito at night when you are trying to sleep. It's the most annoying thing ever.

I moved a little to the side and watched as Xavier stalked towards us, his eyes shining light blue. A scowl on his face, he looked really scary and I could feel is power rolling off of him in waves. Sometimes I forget how truly magnificent and powerful he is.
