Tempest Serpent - Ogre Village

The bright morning sunshine glimmered from the east.

Leaving the confines of the cave of imprisonment where Veldora was sealed at after handing the fella with several Manga and Novels, and a week of travel avoiding the monster's within to avoid altering Rimuru's starting point, Shiro was greeted by the sight of a lush green forest as far as the eye can see.

Great Forest Of Jura.

Just like any anime, manga and novel fans Shiro had dreamed of transmigrating into their favorite anime to met their waifu and take advantage of their knowledge.

He had always dreamt of coming here since the moment he had watched the anime and now that this once impossible yet at the same time simple dream of his was brought to fruition Shiro felt a sense of accomplishment within him.

He walked down the mountain where the cave entrance was situated with a smile on his face as he enjoyed the refreshing cold morning breeze.

Rustle! Rustle!

Under the shade of a tree, Shiro's attention was drawn to the small disturbance behind him.

Coming from the bushes was a gigantic tempest serpent.

Shiro's crimson gold eyes met the serpentine gray eyes of the Tempest Serpent.

The sight of the creature stunned him for a second, it wasn't due to how fearsome it looks, in fact, compared to the monsters from the cave it looks rather underwhelming.

However, the unrestrained release of its bloodlust was so overwhelming that it stunned Shiro who was nothing more than a normal teenager back on Earth.

Just how many people had this creature killed to be able to release such an amount of killing intent.

Shiro couldn't help but think.

Gritting his teeth Shiro bit his lips forcibly snapping out from his stunned state through pain just in time as the monster pounced on him.

He immediately reacted to the attack jumping out of the way just in time to dodge the monster's superfast swift attack and quickly widen their distance.

Seeing that its prey had managed to dodge its attack the monster angrily closed their distance once again, Shiro however despite the threat of the monster looming over him remained undisturbed, his former tense expression calming down until it turned nonchalant.

The monster thought that it had scared the human to the point of succumbing into a petrified state.

Unfortunately for the monster, it has mistaken Shiro's attitude, before it could have been the case but now, before it could fully close their already short distance much less touch a single hair on him, a wide grin creeps on his face, excitement coursing through his body.

He controlled his energy.

His control over it is so perfect that it was unnatural, something a mere human shouldn't be able to achieve.

Even magic born and spirit born creatures don't have this much control over their own energy, well except for a few who had honed their control over their abilities for millenniums.

As if the energy within him is a limb.

The monster immediately noticed his sudden change in demeanor as well as the dangerous sparks of electricity coming from his fingertips that were pointed at it.

The monster feeling the danger hesitated, but before it could have the thought of running away.

Shiro didn't give it the chance and unleashed his attack.

Boom!

He opened with his only offensive attack method "Black Lightning" right off the bat.

And with the assistance of his "Unique Skill – Novelty's" special characteristic that grants him perfect control over his own energy and "Unique Skill – Insight's" near perfect calculation and support control Shiro was able to reduce the scale of 'Black Lightning' as much as possible resulting in the immense concentration of energy, it's force reaching unimaginable heights thus increasing its destructive power beyond what it could normally unleash if used casually.

The strongest attack Shiro could currently muster supported by two Unique Skills directly hit the Tempest Serpent leaving no flesh, bone nor ash behind, utterly annihilating the monster's existence without an ounce of consideration whatsoever.

Shiro looks forward with satisfaction, staring at what he had wrought, a trail of ruination and destruction for half a mile.

The Tempest Serpent and those that were unlucky enough to be in the way were completely erased from existence as if they weren't even there to begin with.

"Amazing." Shiro unconsciously muttered in astonishment to his own power.

He was once a mere simple human boy who couldn't even kill a single bug.

Now, he has the power to cause destruction beyond his wildest imagination.

One shooting an A-Rank monster as if it were any other common mob.

Gripping his fist, Shiro's grin was replaced by a satisfied smile.

Rustle! Rustle!

'Another monster?' Shiro thought, but what came out from the bushes wasn't a monster but a somewhat familiar figure.

She has pink hair, a cute innocent face, a frail body and two sharp red horns.

'Shuna? What is she doing here?'

She cautiously looks at Shiro afraid of offending him.

Noticing her caution and careful action, Shiro smiled and got down to his knees as a sign that he meant her no harm.

Feeling the intense atmosphere lowering down, Shuna let out a sigh of relief and gave Shiro a somewhat forced smile.

"Thank you for saving me." She gave Shiro a respectful bow.

'Saving! Is she being chased by that monster?' Shiro thought, coming up with his own deduction.

"Thank god you're alright princess."

"My dear we're so worried about you."

Shiro accompanied and brought Shuna back to her village.

It took the two of them about 3 hours of travel to reach the Ogre village, Shiro carrying the nameless "Shuna" on his shoulder on their way to her village.

On the way encountered some monsters but as Shiro fully unleashes his enormous aura most of the monsters decided to avoid them the mindless once included and those that we're daring enough to hinder their path we're erased from existence with Black Lightning.

Putting down Shuna she was immediately embraced by her father and brother who we're definitely very worried about her safety.

The other ogres clansmen watch on the side at the happy family reunion.

Shiro was accompanied and accommodated onto the largest home owned by the chief who was also nameless "Shuna's" father.

Entering the guest room the chief immediately approaches Shiro.

He was accompanied by nameless "Hakuro" his son nameless "Benemaru" and Shuna.

"I apologize for the late introductions, I'm the Chief of the Ogre and the father of this child." He placed his right hand onto Shuna's head.

"As a father, I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart."

"Thank you for saving my sister." Nameless "Benemaru" follow up.

"I heard what had happened from my daughter, once again I thank you for saving my daughter, if there's anything I can do for you, please do tell." Shuna's father bowed down as a sign of gratitude and respect.

He had learned of Shiro's overwhelming power from his daughter's mouth.

He had regretted not greeting him early on, he was so distracted back then that he completely forgot his daughter's savior.

Nameless "Hakuro" on the other hand accompanied them just in case the other party made a scene.

Shiro shook his head and gave Shuna's father a smile.

Unbeknownst to the latter his thoughts and emotions are as clear as day to Shiro.

And Shiro fully understands his situation.

If Shiro were to be put on the same situation he'll probably react just the same, so he forgave him.

"No worries, it just so happened that I was there when she was hiding from a Tempest Serpent, it was her own strength and luck that let her be saved by me. But if you really insist on repaying me back, I heard that the ogre tribe is prominent in terms of swordsmanship, you see, I would like to learn the art of the sword."

Hearing Shiro's words, the ogre chief let out a sigh of relief, his attention then shifted to the old man beside him.

Nameless "Hakuro" smiled as he scrutinized Shiro from top to bottom.

"It would be my honor to teach you my lord."

Though it's a bit disrespectful to call another lord in the presence of the Chief the ogre chief didn't mind, for a monster the more powerful one is the more respect must be shown, moreover if that one is a benefactor.

"Please allow me to call you teacher from now on." Shiro told the old man and gave him a simple bow.

"It would be my honor." The nameless "Hakuro" also bowed, showing respect to each other.
