Second Gotten Tears

Frisk's grin would disappear when Sans had made the threat against the Flower, having his magic abilities apparent. Inside the human flinched, remembering the hundreds of bones which had crushed them and the gaster blasters which vaporized them. They completely memorized how all that would have felt again. They would have swallowed, hard, as Papyrus went to introduce themselves and Flowey told them they already knew. This was getting awkward, maybe they should have kept this to themselves. Letting out a sigh, the human would glance to the side.

'Hey kid... You got a second?'

Frisk tensed and froze in place for a few moments as if trapped by themselves. They too probably sensed something was wrong when they were addressed as Kid instead of Frisk or Kiddo or whatever other nicknames he had given them. The human quickly snapped to attention and looked at Papyrus when he said that they would watch over the Flower as it said it wanted to stay and eat. It was obviously cowardly, though Frisk wouldn't blame the Prince. If they died here, then everything would have to be redone all over again. Though this time, if they had to reset, Flowey would be their first ally. Nodding to Papyrus, the human would place the pot onto the table in front of them and slide out of the chair.

Getting onto their two feet, the human would look at Sans for a few moments, blushing a bit at the face and avoiding eye contact as their eyes disappeared into their stoic expression which they held by default. The human would then follow Sans into the other room as they had asked them to do so they could talk alone.

Just as Frisk walked off, Papyrus sat in a chair beside the flower asking questions. He then brought the plate of food closer so the flower could reach the food at a better degree from where he was placed.

As Frisk entered the living room, they would see Sans' back faced them. He didnt even wanna turn around to face the kid, he had too many questions roaming through his mind and at this point, he didnt even know where to start. He then peaked over to the sound of hearing his brother in the next room. Papyrus was too close ; Sans felt that if Papyrus wanted to, he could easily eavesdrop on their conversation.

"You know what, come this way." the smaller skeleton escorted the child up the stairs. He was headed to his bedroom, either the child came or not...Sans would make sure the child would follow with force if he had to. He was running very slim on patients.

Once Sans made it to the top of the stairs, he walked to the door of his room and held it upon for the child to enter first. He was probably being a little too straight forward. But if his guest was right about the child, the kid would probably have a bad time with him.

Things were getting serious, heated serious, at this point. Sans lead them out into the living room, but didn't face the kid at all. He was obviously upset. Frisk would keep their eyes lowered to the ground as the older brother lead them where ever they wanted the kid to go. Swallowing another mouthful of spit which was filling up their mouth, they glanced up at Sans for a few seconds before glancing to the side slightly.

As soon as he had told the human to follow them upstairs and even went as far escorting them, they would continue to watch their feet more often as they climbed on up and followed Sans to the bedroom. A slight blush going across their face as they were nearing the door; especially when he held the door open. If Frisk didn't know the circumstances of what was going on, they'd probably have the wrong idea. Being invited into a male's room to talk privately.

Maybe I should reset... They quietly thought to themselves as they would walk into the center of Sans room. Gazing it over slightly before looking to Sans. Their expression stoic was usual, trying to hide all given emotions by default. Though they always seemed to show through no matter what. They didn't want to have a badtime with Sans, none at all...

One the human was in the room, his white pupils trailed ot the door as he lifted his right hand to make a light sway; telepathically closing the door behind them. The two were alone now. Sans walked over to his bed and sat down on the edge of it as he brought his hands up to rub the bridge of his nose.

"Okay so..." where should he start? This was all too much to handle all at once. With a deep exhale, "Do I know you, Kid?" Really? Was the all he could come up with? Maybe the child could be honest with him on that first question where he could go on with his next one. "I cant help but feel we know each other, but it makes no sense to me. Then that star...I seen that start before in my dreams." Sans then lifted off the bed as he used hand motions as he talked. His voice getting a little louder, but not out of anger, but confusion. "And...And Asriel? The flower this whole time was the prince? What is going on?!"

"Don't do Frisk.." the fallen child appeared. Standing against the closed door as their hands were crossed over their chest just obsessing the skeleton's behavior. "You should reset..What if something bad happens if you tell him the truth? Then again, maybe he can handle the truth? Hehehe.." Chara was no help. Even the child was a bit curious to see Sans' reaction to the truth. "Hehehe...If you tell him one part, you'll have to tell him all of it...Even when you killed his loving brother, Frisk. Wow. I wonder what he'll do.".

"Dont leave me hanging kid..I just need to know what's going on here. This isnt the first time we've met is it?"

That first question rang in the kid's ears. He couldn't have waited could he? Waited until that dinner date? Well, the human was probably at fault for that happening. They introduced Flowey as Asriel. Letting out a sigh the kid turned their head to look toward the window in the room when Chara spoke up. They were half tempted to scream at the Fallen child to shut up, to be silent where silence was needed. They were already planning on telling the Comedian everything. They had no choice really. They were going to live down here after all and the last thing they wanted to be doing is living a lie. They'd be completely standoffish if this persisted without Sans knowing.

The blush seemed to persist on the human's face as they were in the skeletons' room alone with them. It was definitely an interesting occasion. Don't leave me hanging kid..I just need to know what's going on here. This isn't the first time we've met is it? The human's attention narrowed on the skeleton whom was sitting on the bed for a few moments before they simply feel to their knees and sat on the floor; their hands lay defeated on their legs.

"We have and haven't." The human would let out a sigh, "This is a reset. The first that I've done." Their eyes glanced away from Sans, towards Chara, before looking back towards the skeleton again. "I came to Mount Ebott, a Mountain people say no one comes back from, looking for a way out. I thought I found it and well, I jumped down here where the fall was suppose to kill me. Instead, I somehow survived, Their tone was rather tearful but clear, so with a sigh they continued, "I... First met Flowey, but I wanted to walk around him; something compelled me forward. I talked to it... They tried to trick me into letting their pellets hit me. Of course, I dodged. Bullets typically don't give love. I know that for a fact. They kill. At some point after being lead onward by a friendlier monster whom knocked the Flower out of the fight, Toriel, tried to teach me mercy. I wanted to follow through, but I kept choosing to fight. I fought everything, everyone. The only one that I had enough time to rebel against killing was you. Now I have a shell of another human attached to my own named... Chara. They're filled with the hatred of the last timeline. If I kill and gain LV, they are able to take control of me. I plan to fix everything this time around, knowing full well that consequences follow even after a reset, I don't want to relive that nightmare. Being trapped in my own body," The human looked down at their open hands, staring at them as if they were still covered in dust.

The white pupils slowly faded from his eyes. Listening to each word coming from the child and the first being "We have and haven't." What did that mean? He consumed in each and every detail the child was speaking of; Resets. Suicide. Fighting. Chara. LOVE. Hatred.

After it all came down, the child explained they were going to fix everything. Sans turned the other way. He got just what he wanted and from the word 'reset' he had an idea that the kid was able to do something like how Flow- Asriel was able to in the past. Of course, the Flower just recently stopped, but it was now starting all over with this human.

"I see..." Sans voice seemed much more calmed down and loose. He looked to the kid and smirked. A raise of his hand up to see if his hand was stained. Mentally, they were. Flickering back and forth as the past timeline was becoming much more clear to him now. "157 times...right?" he asked before looking to the kid. referring to how many times he killed the kid. That fight between them was horrifying. Just by looking back, he squinted his eyes sockets closed trying to get that image of the kid's body getting impaled by bones and blasters. But it then dawned on Sans, why was he even killing him this many times? Thinking back on their conversation in battle. "You killed Papyrus..." he muttered under his breath. Of course, this time his voice seemed hushed. At this moment he wasn't sure if he wanted to stab the child to death or just...forgive them? How could he? Could he even trust Frisk now after knowing the truth? It was brave of the kid to even come out with the truth. Specially with where he pulled the kid to privacy where they could have been following into a death trap. This alone proves that this kid was not the same from the last time.

"I'm not going to forgive you. And I honestly don't know if I can even trust you." And in a flick of his wrist, he snapped his fingers. Triggering his blue magic to grasp the child's soul and yanking Frisk forward. The gravity Sans wield on Frisk would very much prove he was serious at the moment. "But if you harm Papyrus..or anyone. I wont show you any mercy.." his left eye glowing a furious blue haze. He quickly released the child's soul so Frisk was no longer blue. Sans turned his back to the kid, walking over to the bed and plopping backwards on it. The bed squeaked upon impact as the skeleton was laying their looking up at the ceiling enduring everything that was shared. He learned the truth about resets. The truth about his nightmares actually being something real that was erased. He could start over; his brother was alive and so was everyone else. They were happy. Even if he was to kill the human, he probably would meet the kid all over again. "So..Now that the skeletons out of the closet..." of course his puns were a sign that he was feeling better now. "I suppose you're here to fix it by helping us all to the surface, right?"

They heard the hushed tone and their eyes squeezed shut. The killing of papyrus was haunting enough, but for him to recall how many times they killed Frisk, the human wavered slightly. Though their determination remained full and overflowing. No matter what, by any means necessary were they going to fix everything. However when he had turned to the kid and said that they're not going to forgive them, that they couldn't even trust them.

Frisk suddenly felt empty, so much more weight just landed on their chest from those words of which Sans gave them. It felt like hell itself was pulling them down to the floor. If Sans hadn't picked them up with their telekinetic grasp, they probably would have just face planted on the ground in front of the skeleton and wet the carpet rug with tears. As they were brought up close to the skeleton, the child simply stared back emptily when he had said that if they were to kill papyrus or anyone else, that he wouldn't show them mercy.

Frisk gathered that they couldn't expect much from Sans when it came to Papyrus. Their eyes slowly glancing away from the white skulled and blue eyed building. Tears like water works almost immediately began running down their cheeks as they dropped the human to the ground. They practically landed on the ground like a broken rag doll, with a thud. They didn't bother catching themselves or getting to their feet. The human just laid there staring at the darkness beneath San's bed.

The human recalled the first meeting of Sans during the Genocide route. He believed that they weren't human due to the LV which they possessed. Then recalled the difference between then and now.

Crawling up the back of his jacket, clinging to the comedian. Making puns which would make him laugh, he'd make jokes too about Frisk without even giving them away to Papyrus. Their lips quivered a bit, their chest felt heavier.

"The children that were lost here, are still remembered. If monsters rise from Mount Ebott, the human population will not forgive your King for killing them or having them killed. While there were only millions when you were sealed away... There are billions now. And only hundreds of you... Besides, Asgore only needed ONE soul, not seven... Asriel wants to keep the barrier closed. To protect both sides, Either way..." Their tone was of mumbles and partial sobbing. Their arms were crossed tightly to their chest; their hands squeezing their shoulders. Their legs were even bent a bit to be in a somewhat fetal position. They expected this, but they wanted to be forgiven. There was no reason to forget, but there was room for forgiveness. There had to be.

The child felt abnormally cold now, though they didn't really have much visible form of shivering.

"I guess this is one of the consequences... Huh..."

With that the human child was rather uncomfortably asleep; completely passed out.
