A Dispute triggered Because Of A Beauty

After saying goodbye to Olivia, Joshua didn't feel like taking a carriage back home today and thus decided to treck while using that opportunity to do a little sight seeing around the Village which looked similar to towns in Europe during the middle ages back on Earth but without the muddy roads and bad environmental conditions.

Even though the building structures in Tree Village were mostly constructed with bricks, woods and tiles just like those of the middle ages, Joshua could easily recognised that these were made from completely different types of materials compared to those of Earth in the past.

An example of that would be the wood used by the people of Tree village.

Although he currently had no idea on what their bricks and tiles were made off, their wood he knew to have been gotten from royal pine which shared some similarities with pine wood of Earth but was by far more durable than even ebony wood.

In addition to that, Joshua had also noticed that the design of houses inside Tree Village mostly consisted of cottages and bungalows, very rarely would he catch sight of a story building or that of two stories within a 50 square metres compound.

As for any building bigger and taller than those, they were nowhere to be found with the exception of the academy tower and 'Solomon's pavilion' which had a 4 stories tall building located at the very centre of the business district and were rumoured to possess a mysterious and unfathomable background.

Of course, the village chief 5 stories tall mansion located at the very heart of the village central district shouldn't be forgotten.

From the previous Joshua memories, Joshua could also remember the existence of a particular rumour about how the original village cheif had died around five years ago during that very same Beast horde raid that had nearly claimed his life and so, the current Trree Village have always been managed and rule by his only daughter ever since then.

But with how prosperous the village have been for the past five years, most of its inhabitants adamantly refused to believe such a baseless rumour while those selected few who did went about singing songs of praises about the village chief daughter on how she was such a wise and capable ruler.

Nevertheless, whether such a rumour was true or not, the previous Joshua didn't give a damn and neither does the current him do.

Returning back to the matter at hand, Joshua didn't fail to also notice that all the streets of the village have been paved with slabs made of limestone. Yes, limestones, the very same limestones that Earth also had in abundance.

All that was remaining were street lights and Joshua would have concluded that he had somehow returned to an underdeveloped city hidden in a very secret location on Earth.

However, he also doubted that they will go that far since he could very remember how bright the night sky over here was, due to the existence of it's millions of stars and three moons.

After spending around an hour walking about, Joshua was only halfway home when a luxurious carriage pulled by two azure stallions stopped in front of him, partly blocking his way as a young man with an arrogant demeanor slowly stepped out of the carriage.

"David Omarion?" Joshua called out feeling confused slightly confused as he had no idea what this young man was aiming at since he wasn't even close to him despite the fact that they were and have always been classmates for the past 4 and a half years.

"It's Young Master David, I'll have you know. Then again, what else was I expecting from a mannerless trash who is already twenty years old but had only recently advanced into a Rank One Beast Apprentice" David sharply spoke back with a tone full of disdain.

"Very well then, Young Master David, to what do I owe the pleasure of you coming all the way over her to intercept me on my way home" Sneering inwardly, Joshua quickly asked again while adopting a facade of respect this time around.

"Since you had asked respectfully, I shall do well to satisfy your little curiosity. Keep your distance from Olivia, for she is mine and mine alone while you're nothing but a toad lusting after a swan" David respond in an arrogant tone which also couldn't mask the lust he had for her in his heart.

Hearing such words, even the usually calm Joshua couldn't stop himself from cursing inwardly "Damn this cocky fool, does he think I would have taken the initiative to get closer to Olivia if she wasn't the one who approached me first. Even if I was the one who had first apporched her, what has it got to do with you? if you were even half the man you portray yourself to be then you would have tried wooing her yourself instead of trying to scare away all your fellow competitors".

Although Joshua wasn't a stubborn individual. In fact, he could be said to be someone who fully understood the concept of 'Knowing when to step back', Something from the dept of his soul strongly prevented himself from doing so after hearing the words spoken by David.

"Oh please, since you don't have any self respect, try and have some respect for your family name. Or is that how much self confidence the young master of the Omarion family lacks to the extent that he chooses to drive away all his fellow competition towards a young lady he doesn't dare to even approach?" Joshua asked sarcastically.

Even though Joshua suspected his current mental state to have been caused by the other Joshua soul which had been somewhats ticked off by David statement, he didn't bother resisting it but rather went along with it since he also fully understood that both he and him were one and the same.

Of course, he had also secretly infuse a small amount of soul power into his throat which resulted in his voice being loud enough to be heard by all nearby passerby.

And this in turn, not only attracted a whispering crowd but also a group of patrolling soldiers.

"Are the actions of I, David Omarion something a lowly commoner like you is worth enough to question? Don't forget you nothing but a tiny ant to me that I can crush at anytime" David replied back in anger.

Towards this, Joshua smiled without replying and proceeded to go around the carriage and resume his journey home.

"You fool... Where in hell do you think you are going? Come back here this very instant for I am still talking to you" Shouted David in attempt to command Joshua.

Joshua however, didn't bother replying, talkless of returning back. Instead, he kept walking farther and farther away.

Pointing his index finger at Joshua slowly disappearing figure, David was just about to summon his Tamed Beast when a stern voice from the helm of the carriage reached his ears "Young Master David, please control yourself or have you already forgotten the words of the Old Master so soon"

Upon hearing the words of his family butler who had just spoken while also using a secret gesture to point at the incoming soldiers, David could only curse inwardly as he reluctantly returned back inside the carriage "Damn that trash, I swear one month from now, on the day of our graduation exam will be the day you die".

Heya...!!!

The butler didn't speak anymore but immediately controlled the carriage to return back to the Omarion family mansion.

After which he then met David father who was a 2 metres tall imposing looking middle aged man with broad shoulders and back within a secret room underneath the mansion and carefully recounted everything to him.

"Allow David to handle this matter on his own for now in order for that brat called Joshua to serve as his stepping stone into a much bigger world but do take care to offer him a small push should he ever become in need of assistance" Commanded David father who was also the family head of the Omarion family.

What's more, he was also a Rank 9 Beast Master who was only a single step away from advancing into the next Beast Tamer Realm and had single handedly raised the Omarion family from a tiny unknown family within Tree Village into one of the most prominent family within the Village under a shot time span of twenty years.
