System of war

Ahhhhhhhh. 'Ugh what the fuck why can't I sleep?' When I opened my eyes my jaw dropped a few inches.

In front of me was thousands no no it was tens of thousands of people but then before I could say anything foreign memories started to flow into my mind, I learned everything, my name is Goto I was from a small noble family and currently I was in a war but by the look of it I was far away.

Looking around I saw many more people that were sitting on their own horse with the same outfit on as me. I am of the archer squad and the lowest one but because this war was important everyone was sent out because if we win this war we can finally take the enemy kingdom as our own, yes this world was all about wars everyone was a soldier.

Some strong people even created their own kingdom with their squad and it seems like the more you kill the more rewards you get. We were currently situated at the back and weren't given orders to attack.

It looked like I couldn't escape from here even if I wanted to as there was a barrier and if anyone left would be killed and declared as a traitor. I couldn't also just lay dead on the ground or the people would actually kill me by running over me, the only thing I could do was fight but because I was an archer I was more safe then others.

I saw that everyone had a image on their left shoulders and every people here had a bronze bow with 1 arrow which was the lowest rank in the military the highest was a titled bow and there were only a few in our whole military.

Then shock came to me and I instantly got excited as I realized that there was cultivation here and sadly I didn't even start yet I am only 13 years old but my body looked like I was 16 or 17 that was because of all the training, while people hated the training in the military the previous Goto knowing that you can cultivate if your stronger trained harder then anyone else.

But reality struck me, only at 15 years can one start cultivating and awaken their spirit and constitution. The martial spirit is not a pet you can summon to fight for you but it is an innate ability one awakens.

Not delaying any further we went close some people already started shooting their arrows while others waited. The battle was situated at the edge of both kingdoms, both kingdoms grades were on E+ which was really mediocre, the strongest person in the military is a veteran that is on the foundation establishment stage on the 4th layer with that strength he could have been recruited by a stronger kingdom long time ago but he stayed loyal to his kingdom loyal but dumb.

I made sure I was behind some boulders so I can shoot with cover. I didn't want to show my face so instead I decided to aim straight up and angled it to the point where it goes to the other side, I saw that I only had 250 arrow as which surprised me but I only got this much because of how hard Goto worked but the arrows were low quality so if the enemy were wearing good armor then it wouldn't do anything.

This angered me and it meant that now I had to show my face, I tried to hide and wait it out but someone spotted me out and called me out which embarrassed me I just replied with "shut up when a guy gotta go he gotta go". I thought the guy would laugh but he shook his head and went back to shooting.

I decided to finally come out and be a man, I have came to this world so let's adapt and let's adapt fast or the only thing I can see in my future is death, I peeked and saw 2 people fighting with swords and decided to help my guy out. I exited the string to its limit and steadied my moving.

I waited for the guy wearing the green uniform to be pushed down so I can aim at his weakness and I did right when he fell down I lined the arrow with his neck and instant shot it.

*shhhh*

The arrow went as fast it could and penetrated the guys neck he did not instantly die but blood gushed out of his neck the guy who was fighting with him looked back at me and gave me a thumbs up and stomped the enemy's head which crushed it.

I heard a faint voice but did not pay attention to it as I did not want to die I kept shooting the necks of people and the faint voice kept talking, in total I helped over 12 people to kill the enemy's. I kept shooting the arrows I got heated and got more excited after an hour my arrows were all wasted some landed while the others were just failures.

Once we finish our arrows we were instructed to grab a sword from the battlefield and start fighting and every kill you get with a sword extra money will be given to you and to your family, but I had no interest in that I just wanted to kill the ones that wore green uniforms...
