Chapter 5: The Small Guy in a Corner

Eader looked at the man in annoyance but simply stated, "he left and he is an idiot." He crossed his arms while doing that, causing the man to chuckle. "Well, lets hope I meet your mum first, aye?" He nodded and the man started to leave.

Suddenly, he stopped. Turned, and spoke," I am sorry that I busted in, also, quick question." His head was still tilted to see Eader's face better, but it was starting to get harder. "Do you have any sword skills?" Eader nodded ecstatically.

Even though the child did not have a sword, he still practiced, surprisingly, harder than most kids as he thought if he did that a sword would appear. This is not what he had expected but he still took it. The man smiled and he opened the door and left.

Once the ancient man left the area, he went on his phone, grabbed a picture and made it the kids profile pick. He checked what he picked, a stick. Then he made a call. Eader gazed at the man from the outside and waited until he left.

Adding the old man to his phone and everything still felt weird to him, but all he was happy about was that he got an actual sword. He immediately started practising with, running up stair to his room.

James was proud what he did today, not only did he find some hot chicks with his friends, but he also could prove his strength with it.

He was happy that one of the girls, the one his fatty friend told him who he liked, had a map to his house. She had found it not by simple deduction though, she literally just followed him home, just waiting for a day like this.

The blond girl widened her eyes when she realised where this area was. "This looks familiar," she said, and the one guiding them, bumped her arm into her, "no wonder, that's because we were here before, remember that kid."

She looked shocked at her because he was small and that put in a bad situation.

'If they kill him, I will get in huge trouble.'

She bit her finger, she wanted to stop this but she didn't know what to do. The girl that was staring into the abyss spoke up for once, and that made the skinny guy excited when he heard her voice. He was blushing weirdly.

"We intervene if it gets too bad, alright?" The worried girl immediately nodded her head. The other one glanced up, not hearing what she said, "well, we are here." She said it triumphantly and James walked forward to the door.

When Eader heard the knock on the door, he was filled with weird emotions.

'Who could that be? A package? No, mum would have told me. Mum? No, she has her own keys. The old man? No, why would he come back after thirty minutes?'

He checked from the window from the upstairs and saw the guys that picked on him today, and a classmate.

'Wait, is that Emilia? What is she doing here?'

Then Eader remembered one of his friends from school saying that she bullied weak people. Some say that it is just so she can feel more superior, and some say so the other bullies don't pick on other people. He did not remember his incident with her, he shook his head

'Life is far too confusing for this.'

Then he thought for a second.

'Should I open the door, if I do, who knows what will happen?'

It occurred to him that it was 5.00 the time his mum should be coming home.

"I forgot that mum should be coming home now," he quivered, thinking what will happen next. A loud banging came from the downstairs door," Hey, open up, we know you are in there."

Eader thought about what he should do, the first thing that came to his mind was attacking. Then he knew what to do, going downstairs, he picks up his sword and hides it under his clothes and walks to the door, putting on his shoes.

Emilia lied to them because you don't tell strangers your name, she even lied about her friend's names- just to show how good of friends they are. Mia's real name was Mythra, and Eva's was Evalynn (she calls her Eva as a nickname). "Why are you doing this Emilia," Evalynn whispered, as they were behind the boys," I don't like them, one of them practically drooled at me."

"Because this is revenge, at that guy," she replied, Evalynn gave a confused look.

"What did that guy do to you?"

"He was just a nuisance, that's all."

Mythra joined in, madly and quickly whispering" Are you serious, you told us we were going shopping to help since you have terrible taste."

Emilia looked offended, "this will be a quick beat up, then we can return shopping," she replied.

"What happens if they are not strong enough, did you take out your weapon?" Mythra asked, giving a glare.

"Don't worry, I have it here. They should be strong enough to beat him."

Emilia's sword had a special skill that made her be able to tell how strong someone is. It works better if someone takes out the sword, but she can still measure, but only when her sword is out, and she can tell what power they have.

Most powerful sword users can measure the person's strength and magic power, like Mythra, however, it works only when it's out and Mythra's is huge and Emilia's is pretty small for a sword (some call it a large dagger, but still effective).

In addition, if they have any special powers, she would know, her sword is specialised at that (it is the power of her sword).

"What happens if they injure him badly," Evalynn asked, worryingly, "should we interfere or not." She asked a second time, this time with a scared face.

Emilia gave another smile" don't worry about it, they are too weak to kill anyone unless the person they are up against are way weaker, which I highly doubt,"

"And why is that," Mythra asked, louder, getting curious about that person.

"He was one of the fastest people in my old school, so he can't be that weak," Emila replied, talking normally. "I just really want to give him a scare."

Mythra rolled her eyes, even thought she was saying those simple thing, it annoyed her that she didn't really mean it. She practically bullied the guy but it never worked because he would never show his sword to her.

"What are you girls talking about?" questioned James.

All three looked surprised at the question, then Emilia waffled" um, w-w-we-we-we were talking about boys," Evalynn and Mythra looked at her dumbfounded.

The other boys turned around, giving a grin.

They all gave a smile back, then all the boys turned and carried on walking, right when they turned Emilia got a double slap from both girls.

James was giving a smile since Mia (Mythra) was not glaring at him, Maybe this is a sign.

He clenched his fist.

'I will not show weakness, I will show her how strong I can be.'

After a few minutes, they arrived.

"Is this the place," James asked.

"Yep," Emilia said happily after they finally arrived.

Both the other girl's sighed, and the boys were ready.

"Ok, I will do the honours."
