CHAPTER 4 FRIENDS AND ENEMIES ALL TOO SOON.

Emma calmly sat down and still felt that disturbing cold stare, she turned and saw a beautiful blonde coming her way. "Hey, I'm Layla" she said and gave a timid girl sitting beside Emma a cold stare that made her to stand up and leave. Emma struggled but smiled bringing out her hand for a shake. "Girls don't shake, that's a guys thing." Layla said and smiled sweetly at her and then embraced. "uhm I'm the leader of the cheer leading team, and need I forget the Beauty pageant of Sweet High three times in a row...." "guess that's about to change" Samson said out loud again and the whole class burst out laughing. "Could you stop being ridiculous?" Layla said "I'm trying to make her feel at home after your insanities and this is what I get?" Layla asked getting furious "were you expecting to get another beauty pageant award?" Samson asked again and the class laughed out again. Emma tried maintaining a straight face but the dude was damn too funny. "You too?" Layla angrily asked Emma "I'm sorry ...." " this is so unbelievable!" Layla said and stormed out.

DOUBLE CRAP. Emma thought, "hey" she was distracted from her thoughts as she looked up to see the timid girl shyly staring at her. "uhm...I'm so sorry but I must confess you're beautiful" she said in a low whisper "Yes too beautiful to be your lesbigay partner Maya " Samson said out loud again. Maya's face was clouded with shame as she whispered frantically "I'm sorry" then walks out with tears in her eyes. "Now I think it's high time you shut your mouth up" Emma said angrily as she stood up facing Samson "uuuuhhhhhh" the class roared "you talk so much that my nose begs to breath" Emma said angrily another uuuuhhhhhh was heard. "uuuuhhh never knew our beauty pageant could be this fierce, nice one Emma"Samson said. "it's not about be fierce Mr. , it's about being nice and you should try it sometime it doesn't kill" Emma said and sat down. Everyone clapped as Emma sat down and Samson rolled his eyes.

The bell rung and it was time for break period.

Everyone left the class except one guy whom she felt staring at her. Once their eyes met he winked her and stood up and left the class.

Mandy returned back to the class with a messed up make up "Hey" Emma said "hi" Maya responded avoiding to look at Emma. "look I'm sorry about what he said, you shouldn't give him your attention, you shouldn't even give him the satisfaction of getting to you"Emma said as Maya nodded slowly "yea...I'm sorry for bolting out the way I did...I mean that's what I always do" Mandy said "Maybe we could work on changing that" Emma said smiling. "thank you" Maya said smiling back at her. "now could you please tell me more about our classmates while we eat at the cafeteria?" Emma asked sweetly. "yes, that's a nice idea". Maya said as they walked out together.

They entered the cafeteria and sat down Maya stood up to order their meal and just as she left, Layla walked by "Hi" she said smiling at Emma "hi" Emma smiled back as she sat down. "I'm sorry for laughing" Emma said "that was a big mistake" she continued "look it's fine, nothing taken to heart. Samson is just like that..." "And Emma took care of him" Daisy said as she joined them in the table. "Every girl wants to be with the new girl can y'all just hear yourselves?" Amy said passing by.

"And what's that supposed to mean, Amy?" Layla questioned obviously angry. "it's now Emma, Emma, Emma....she's now the talk of the day, have you forgotten it's supposed to be you, and who you're gonna accept to the party coming up next week?" Amy bit back venomously. "Jesus Christ Amy could you please take it easy.... we're not in a battle field" Layla said trying to calm Amy down.

Emma was highly embarrassed and stood up "look I'm sorry guys but it wasn't my intention to bring attention to myself...I mean this is my first day in school and I wouldn't like any problem" Emma said standing. "well if you don't need any problem why don't you get ur ass going....out of this cafeteria?" Amy said glaring at her. Their discussion was getting attention as the whole students in the cafeteria focused on Emma now. "Ok I will" Emma said and walked .

Maya seeing everything that happened left their order and followed her.

"I guess she's got one follower now" Amy jeered as few students snickered.
