In a world where nothing is left, what can one do to keep themselves motivated and moving forward?

In the desert plane's of the once kingdom of Eden stood nothing. The divine tree that once gave life to it surroundings was no more and the life it breath into the earth is gone with no visible indications that that their was once life. The reason for this tragic misfortune war, which was fuelled by greed and anger. Due to the kindom being build arround the once divine tree and limiting access to the tree itself, fostered hatered in many which was not fortunate to be born within the Kingdom wall's. As time past those who settled at the north and west, respectively could no longer tolerate the kingdoms arrogance and decided to come together to put a end to the Kingdom it self. Their reasons was simple "why must one kingdom lavish in the power granted by the tree when the tree itself was ment for all to behold and receive its blessings.

The divine tree stood before men walk the earth, and was believed to be placed their by the Gods. The tree would absorb the the power of the gods the sun's and moon and then would then breath life into its surroundings. The air produced by the tree as a by product from absorbing the negative energy in the surroundings would later make the world habitable, and become known as mana. As time went by the mana in the surrounding atmosphere grew and grew till it reach all the corners of the world. The tree being the center had a dencer mana concentration and was the the ideal place to call home.

10 000 years later the establishment of kingdoms happened and the world entered a age of magic. In order to perform magic one would need to absorb the mana into their body and form what is known as a mana core. The size of one's core all depends on one's perception and understanding of mana as hole. With the establishments of the law and rules of mana 90 years quickly went by, power was established and different kingdom had their own kings as they were known. It was not long after that the first war between kingdoms took place, which will in the future be known as the rune wars. The war was the worst thing that could have happen to the planet as it had greater destruction that could have been imagined. Not only did it lay wast to the surface and the divine tree but also created a rift in space and from it came came the end itself. The Darken a race of Demon looking individuals came from the rift, they only had one agenda domination.
