Leo started walking, walking to exactly the place he faced after stepping out of the portal, with nothing like a map of thing of the sort to navigate, he would just keep going this way till he found a 'prey' 

After walking for some time he spotted some paw prints.

"Hmm, a paw this large, this wolf sure is bigger than normal wolves' Leo said as he observed the paw of that beast carefully.

After thinking for some time, he decided to ask the system a question.

'System is there anything that I need to know about this dungeon'

'That the beast here is somehow a little bit weaker than the boss beast you fought some time ago, with the dungeon boss of this dungeon being as strong as ten raven bosses altogether.'

'Is that it?' Leo relayed this message, about why it was hard for the raven dungeon boss to kill him because of his injury and lack of ideas, but now he was sure that he could handle this dungeon well.

'That's not all Leo, there are other things but you would find out yourself.

After walking for a while Leo spotted a lone wolf.

The wolf look like a gray wolf except that it was much more taller, much more robust, and has a fierce-looking pair of canines.

He looked at its stats.

"Mutant gray Wolf, huh!?. What an interesting Name!" Leo was amused.

'These wolves even have ranking in their pack, they must be very intelligent 

'it is ranked 45 in Beta, Mutant wolves are surely more of a social animal than those fuckin ravens' 

Shake of his thoughts, He then activated light Steps and started walking towards the wolf wanting to finish it from behind.

When he activated the skill, he felt refreshed and cool-headed. He felt his speed increase drastically, and all that made him feel even cooler but he didn't let it get into his head even though this is the first time he is activating the skill.

He had wanted to activate the skill on that pond, but the timing did not let him, he decided to do it in the dungeon but the dungeon temperature and all that made him forget about the skill completely.

But now that he activated the skill, he found out that this is not the type of skill that's hard to get used to, unlike the Mana Jet skill.

It did not take long for him to be close enough to be able to strike with his dagger.

He was surprised, as far as he knew animals that have the kind of ears a wolf has, are very good at hearing. But why haven't I been detected yet,

'Is it the effect of light Steps or am I being tricked?'

He wanted to ask the system but decided against it, no matter what, he had to face whatever that is coming with his brain and hands.

but just as he was about to do that, the wolf gave out and eat piercing howl.

And turned to look at Leo with a smug on their face.

It was like it was telling him, 'Did you think that I am that foolish!?'

Its look was a mocking one, before Leo could even understand what was happening he had been surrounded by Mutant Gray Wolf.

'So that's how things are, here I am thinking I am in control of the situation, without knowing that I am being lured to a deadly trap.'

Though Leo was surrounded, he was not scared if anything, he was ready to fly out if his life is at too much of a risk, he knew that wolves can't fly...or can they?

Neither would they be able to send elemental attacks at their current stage.

Without wasting time, he brought out his dagger, infusing it with as much Mana as possible so that he would ensure maximum effect before slashing the beta 45 beast which was the closest wolf.

He slashed his left hand dagger at its ass. Slashing the right-hand dagger at its neck.

There is no need to think of any weak spot because as far as he knew, all animals have softer bodies at their ass and neck.

The wolf was instantly killed, having time to only release a howl in pain before dying. Its head was already dissected out of its body.

Its eyes filled with Unwillingness to die, but there is nothing it could do, it could only watch until things blackened out.

It had sacrificed its life for the success of its plan, Unknowingly.

All the Mutant gray wolves that were watching were overwhelmed with fear when they saw how Leo was able to insta kill that beast, They started doubting whether they should attack Leo or not because, with the power, Leo has just showcased, they were sure that some of them would end up dead, of not dead then, seriously injured.

Growl!!!

A commanding growl came from behind bringing all the pack members to their senses.

It ordered them to focus and do their job.

Upon hearing the growl of their alpha from behind, they immediately steeled their hearts to attack Leo.

They all jumped at him, wanting to pounce on him before tearing him to pieces all at the same time.

But when they landed on the ground there was no Leo before they could register what was happening, heads started falling, often accompanied by a howl of pain.

From one head to two heads to three heads, before they knew it Leo had already killed 35 Mutant gray wolves and their population decreased drastically.

The alpha who had been at the rear this whole time immediately noticed the drastic reduction in the number of Mutant Wolves.

It knew it had to call off this fight before things go beyond his control.
