The seal 2

The team sat around Abby waiting for her to tell them about her grandma and what the old lady knows of this place, it was dusk already and the team had secured a good place where they can spend the night.

The Night is supposed to be cold but the forest emits its own Natural warmness that was one extraordinary thing about the forest, they all sat half-Naked waiting eagerly to hear what she has to say, but the green eyes lady just glance at them abstractedly.

"Are you gonna say something?" Chris asked.

"Oh, that's right.. sorry about that I was thinking a lot. So what do you want me to tell you?"

"Tell us more, everything" Erica briskly said.

"Oh.. about that, if you want me to tell you everything. it's gonna take a long.. like years and summarization won't just do it. so I will go by questions and answer" Abby said.

"Okay, Who's your grandma," Henry asked.

"Grandma was a tourist, Wait. I know you're gonna ask me how a tourist knows so much but the truth is, I don't have an answer to that and it was when I started growing up that I presume her to be an outbound tourist, grandma died before I was 11." and her voice lowered at the end when she mentions her grandma dying early, but she quickly dismissed it and return back to being an exuberant person. "Only Tourist travels the most, ah there's a globetrotter. she's both." Abby added.

"Tell us what you know about this place and the Kariba's, 'cause the way you acted earlier almost proved that you've visited this place before" Henry questioned, he had seen earlier how she had run off following the path that lead to that exact destination.

"Ah ah, I've seen it in my Grandma's diary, there was a picture of it, giving details about every path you followed. And for where we are, we are on Earth, a different one. Where the Kariba's lived, i don't know how to say this but Hundreds of years ago.. There were different races that lived on earth and the Kariba was one of them. There's this seal that unites the races but it got broken and There was a great War on earth, that was the time Humans invented their first weaponized machine" She paused to catch her breath Before continuing "The races split up into different worlds aside the earth and the Kariba's who was the bearer of the seal created their own world using the broken seal but they later lost the seal and the once seal which is now a key is presumed to be in various parts of the earth." She added.

There was silence as the team try to digest all the new information, but the silence didn't last long.

"You're indirectly saying that we are in the world they created?" Emilia asked.

"There's very little to prove that, I don't have firm evidence that they are the Kariba's" Abby drawled.

"You recognize the drawing and lead us to that cave across the cliff, I think that's enough evidence, so technically we are being attacked by them" Frank theorized, bringing out points. The rest of the team nodded their head in support of what the doctor has said.

".. but then you had mentioned something about their tomb and the excavation site," Adam asked, the question just flash through his memory and he felt the need to ask.

"Well, I did much research Using my grandma's diary, the place of origin is 'באַנסקאָ' which is presently the southern part of Nigeria, their tomb is also presumed to be there, so after so much research I landed on the fact that their tomb is somewhere around the Excavation, it's just my speculation" Abby stated.

"Your grandma's Diary, just how big is it?" Emilia Cliched.

"Very big with over 23K Pages. Am still reading it" She said.

"You said, they created their world with the seal which is now split into keys.." Chris couldn't complete his words, and Abby cut in.

"Yes, together it's a seal, separately it's a key, and only the key has access to their world, I guess" Abby jumped in.

"Then one of us must have had the key" Chris suggested

"I think he's right, that might have triggered a doorway to open," Henry said.

"It also explains the phenomenon behind us going round in circles and finding a new road" Frank finalized.

"But who among us? we've lost a few members and none of us had it here..."Chris drawled

"Then we should pray it's in the good hands but if it happens to be in the wrong hands, not only we.. will suffer not just earth but the whole Cosmo" Abby said shakily. "It's a seal with three faces. The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.

"Together it's an access to a lower realm known for its ABOMINATION and BAD OMEN" Abby added.

"ABOMINATION" and "BAD OMEN" The two words rang in frank ears making him flashback...

Henry: Everyone here except for doctor frank is an archeologist, we came to research a project placed on hold in the 90s. We were called immediately but unfortunately, we can't exit this town.

Felix: that's the sign of a bad omen, what if you're meant not to leave?

Felix: it's strange to hear you can't exit a town you entered...( he saw the solemn expression on the two men beside him.. he burst into laughter) but bad omen don't just come except someone call for it and when it comes, it answers to All...

( Felix burst into laughter) you guys fell for it, anyway don't get me wrong. I told you, am a joke ass right? ( he ask Henry)

REALITY....

"He had said that. if Felix is like us. Since he didn't seem like a Kariba, How come he had access to here, and he woke us hope telling us to Run like he was expecting all this to happen" Frank said.

"There are so many things words can't illustrate" Adam stated.
