Day out

Why everyone

in this popular table is so hot tempered. Norman thinks when Bryce wipes the

sauce on his face. The whole table is fighting but Norman doesn't hear anything

as he's too occupied in this thoughts. "Norm! You're bleeding!" He finally

hears Saffran's voice as he tugs Norman up by his arm. "Go to the nurses office

quickly!" He hears Bryce. But before he leaves he sees Raven throwing his plate

at Alyssa with glare so scary that even Alex doesn't fight back.

In the

nurse's office after clearing his wound the nurse goes out to get bandage.

"Norm....I'm sorry. I didn't know she'd do that." Norman doesn't say anything.

He looks blankly at his hand while Saffran is crouching in front of him. "Norm...please

say something." Still no answer. He sighs when the nurse comes back. "Norman. I

never saw you getting into fight before. Do you want to talk about it with me?"

The nurse says in a gentle motherly voice. She loves him a lot for him manners

and cheery habits. Norman nods his head. After she puts the bandage Norman

quickly gets up and heads to the washroom without giving a glace at Saffran.

Saffran

follows him. "Norm. Why are you mad at me? She is at fault." He whines while

Norman washes his hair and the side of his face with water. "Please leave me

alone." Again he leaves Saffran at the toilet and heads for the cafeteria. The

bell is about to ring but the popular table is still full. They all watches his

stoic face. Alex is still here but Raven and Alyssa is gone. Norman gets

worried as he saw Raven throwing his plate at Alyssa. "Where's Rave?" He asks

them. "They were both sent to the principal's office by Mr. William." Alex

speaks up. Without hearing their another word Norman dashes to the principal's

office.

He sees

Raven and Alyssa standing outside. "Rave!" He calls him. Seeing him Raven looks

relived but angry. "Norm. You okay? Does it hurt?" Norman nods his head. The

door of the Principal's office opens and reveals Mr. William aka the school's

hot math teacher. "Go in." He orders Raven and Alyssa.

Alyssa doesn't have any physical wound but she has some food on her body and

hair. "Sir can I go in too?"  He nods and

goes for his class.

Their

principal is a really scary man. He is in his forties but looks older than his

age. On the other hand Mr. William is 33 years old but looks like he's in his

twenties. As he's half Asian and half European, his features became naturally

attractive.

"So I heard

that you threw you food plate at her?" Raven nods. "May I get an explanation?" Norman

speaks first. "We were talking about basketball and suddenly she started

calling him names. When I replied her she threw her plate at me. So Raven too

threw his plate at her." The principal nods. "Okay. Both of you are suspended

for a week." He says to Raven and Alyssa. "You all are dismissed."

When they

see Saffran and Alex. Norman holds Raven's hand and says in a sad voice. "Rave.

I'm sorry. If I didn't drag you with me-" "Hey. I'm not mad at you. That ugly

bitch was at fault." He caresses Norman's cheek. Alyssa sneers at them and goes

to her class. Alex follows her after giving Raven a quick glance. But Saffran

doesn't go. "Norm...." Saffran's meek voice melts Norman's heart. He is not at fault.

Saffran just wanted him to sit with him today. Which was an improvement in

their relationship. But fate had some different plan.

"I'm going

to class. You should go too." Norman smiles at Saffran holding Raven's hand.

Saffran nods unwillingly.

After the 5th

period Norman gets a message from Saffran. 'Meet me at the parking lot after

school.' Norman sighs. He looks at Raven who was taking notes attentively. On

his back he can feel Jess' stares which is disgusting him. Jess was absent

during lunch period.

He replies a

quick ok to the text and looks at the teacher. Where the final bell rings Norman

tells Raven to go alone today. He feels sad when he sees Raven getting sad. He

doesn't know what to do. When he comes to the parking lot he sees Saffran leaning

on someone else's car and scrolling through his phone. He doesn't see Saffran's

car so he assumes he didn't bring it. "Hey." Saffran flinches hearing his

voice. He clears his throat and smiles at him. "What did you wanna talk?" Norman

asks getting impatient. "Umm...will you spend the day with me and my dad?" Norman

widens his eyes. It's too personal since he doesn't have good relationship with

his parents. Also what his mother told him that day still hurts him. "No

thanks. I don't want another encounter like your mom." He says solemnly. "No

Norm! Dad is not like her! He's super kind and gentle." Saffran blabbers. Norman  cautiously looks at him. "I just....don't

wanna be alone today. I feel lonely." Saffran's sad voice hurts him too. "But

you'll be with your dad." "I know...but I rarely talk with him. He's probably

asking me to spend today cause he feels guilty for punching me." Norman can't

even deny now as how miserable Saffran is. Before he could say anything he

hears car horns. "He's here. Please Norm." Norman nods hesitatingly.

Saffran's

father came in an elegant Limo which Norman can't take off his eyes from. Just

how much rich they are. "Hey dad." Saffran says as his father gets out from the

car. His dad is young too. Just like their hot math teacher. Saffran got his

green eyes from his dad and black hair from his mom. His other features resembles

to his dad most. "Hi son. How was school." He asks with his hand in his pocket.

He's in a short sleeve Hawaiian shirt and khaki pants. "As always. You remember

Norman?" For the first time his dad notices Norman. He looks at him and smiles.

"Hello sir." His dad come forward and ruffles his fluffy hair. "Obviously I remember

this kid. As cute as ever. How are you son?" Norman smiles heartily as his behaviour

is definitely different from Saffran's mother. "I'm fine." Saffran's dad

doesn't pry much. "So Norman will join us?" His dad asks Saffran but Norman

replies. "Only if you allow me." His dad laughs. "Why won't I allow? The more

the merrier." All of them gets into the Limo. His dad sits in the front and Norman

and Saffran are in the back. "I never rode a Limo!" Norman's eyes sparkles

looking around his surrounding inside of the limo. "You like it? You can call

me whenever you want a ride." Norman blushes at Saffran's dad proposal. Weird

he is completely different from what Saffran told him. He can't believe he

tried to hit his wife. But he shouldn't judge a book by it's cover.

"Dad. Where

are we going?" "Where do you wanna go?" His dad says looking through the rear-view

mirror. "Amusement park!" Norman practically shouts in the silent car. The

driver smiles at his childishness. "Noo Norm. It's so hot outside." Saffran

whines. "Please~ It's been so long since I've visited one." Norman whines back.

Saffran's dad finds it amusing how his son is so casual and calm around Norman.

He has never been anything other than stiff at home. Guess his friends care for

him a lot. "Since Norman is insisting then we'll go to an amusement park." He

declares probably becoming an angel to Norman. "It'll be fun!" Saffran's dad

smiles. "Yes. It will."
