Orion's voice echoed out through the ship's communications system, reaching both Valara and Solari down on the planet below. "Massive explosion spotted in orbit," he reported, his tone calm despite the intensity of the situation. "Confirmed elimination of Cosmic Crown Syndicate's ship."

Valara and Solari glanced at each other, their eyes widening as they saw the brilliant burst of light in the night sky, signaling the end of the confrontation in orbit. The radiant explosion was replaced with a cascade of falling stars, remnants of the defeated Syndicate fleet that hadn't managed to warp away in time.

"Retrieved two life pods," Orion continued, his voice filled with relief. "Elara and Caden are both onboard, though in critical condition. Following our wake is a friendly craft piloted by Xerath."
