Chapter 15- Showing Powers

It has been a day since I cut Superman in two.

Heh. How many people could brag about being able to do that? In any reality? Not many. I think. I mean a lot of stuff has happened and there are infinite realities.

Still, I was pretty miffed about my carelessness in revealing my powers. Now I am sure Batman, who till now didn't really check my powers except examining the materials and make of my swords, will be sure to test what i can do with my powers and also look for weaknesses. All for his 'contingency plans' which may or may not already have a file of my own.

I mean I tried to hack in using Arya but she is meant to be just enough for me to use. As in she is not able to hack the Batcomputer silently...yet.

But later when I improve my own hacking abilities then she will probably get access to more of her true potential.

It is irritating and frustrating to know that Arya has in Ben 10 terms a minimum of level 15 but right now has just enough access to level 4 and it is all because of me. It's not as grand as the beyond level 20 omnitrix or other crazy tech but it was still far ahead of Earth tech. Though some tech has already reached higher levels in this Universe, Arya is very well rounded in her capabilities.

I recently realized that she is connected to me on a higher level than those of simple physical constraints.

She is, in her words, conceptually bound to me. She is more like a subordinate that I can order and therefore has the freedom to dispute and reject orders but will most likely than not follow them.

Anyway, right now I am back to Gotham and in one of Batman's training grounds which I don't know the location of. I mean when Superman goes speeding to Gotham even my haki couldn't catch up to what was happening. one moment I was in either the north or south pole and the next I am in Gotham. Everything I saw was a blur.

I am now practicing my abilities in the open under the watch of Supes and Bats. Well, since I can't hide it anymore, might as well just use it. I am still not sure what to hide and what to show. AMPUTATE has already been shown. But I am not sure if I should show my ability to switch objects in space using SHAMBLES and telekinesis using TAKT.

Hah. F*ck it. I'll just show what I can do and then go with the flow. It is honestly tiring and stressful about hiding my powers in front of others especially Batman.

As I decide to show my abilities I stop procrastinating and materialize Obsidian and White Fang.

"So from what I figured out my powers basically make me a human operating room."

"Human operating room?",Superman asked with some confusion.

"It basically let's me cut open someone without killing them and let's me manipulate their bodies to remove or insert anything I want."

"Like you cut me."Superman said.

"Yes, sorry about that again."

"What else can you do? Show whatever comes to mind."

There was a bottle of water to my side which I cut using AMPUTATE. The water did not fall out of the cut but remained in the cut area.

I then put it back together and willed it to rejoin and it did.

"I can only rejoin what I cut myself and these powers basically make me the best surgeon possible."

Batman stood there staring at me, probably analyzing my powers and Superman was just amazed.

Another surprise. Another power. Will he continue to get powers every time he suffers from that condition?

I don't know and it will be problematic if this continues.

What principles do these powers work on?

All powers have some base unless it's magic. And magic is not something I like or want to deal with. I tested his swords earlier and know that they can't hurt Superman unless they are turned into the other version. But somehow he cut through Superman with seemingly no resistance.

Is it Space? That would make a lot of sense with how this powers works. He cut Superman with his spatial ability but the space between his body is still connected even when cut off. But how does that work with transplanting organs if he uses only space. Other powers have some specialty, like with space you have the ability to telepoet or to just manipulate space to do a certain action but Nicholas' powers are geared towards only surgery. He can't do anything else with that ability except switch places between objects.

His power is strange. But at the same time very useful if trained right.

Still, he is a child right now and has the freedom to do as he wishes. The ideal right now for him would be to interact with others his age which so far he hasn't.

I look at the boy.

"I have decided to put you in school"

"No. I am not going to school. I have already finished upto University level subjects and even higher in Computer Sciences and Medical Sciences. I do not want to go just to socialize."Nicholas said, already realizing the reason I was sending him to school.

Well, he certainly is smart.

"You need social interaction with those of your age."

"I don't want to waste time on kids who barley know the basics of Math. How about this, right now I am 5 years old and in three years when I am 8, then you send me to school. Atleast then I can actually have a conversation with them."

"Hmnn. Ok, but you need to practice to control your powers and you will learn etiquette with Alfred. You will also learn to lightly train your body and build discipline."

"Fine. But I have seen a bit of your workouts and I will sue you for child abuse if you put me through something similar."

This kid is annoying. Are all children this annoying?
