Operation Orwellian Roswell: Part Three

As the Ghost wakes up, he and the others tune into the radio to see if they can't make out where they are or see if anyone else survived.

"Good morning Greater Nazi America, Today marks the 60th Anniversary of the Fuhrer's rise to power here in America. Celebrate with a Seig Hail and have a blessed VA Day."

"VA Day?" asked Jarrin,

"I'm more concerned with "Greater Nazi America." What the hell is going on?"

Outside, the bushes shake, and out of the tall grasses emerge a group of people moving in on the Enola Gay.

"Jarrin, close me in the armor bay, if they are Nazis, I won't even stand a chance."

"Right."

The crew closes the armor bay as the outsiders open the doors to the Enola Gay, knocking everyone out.

"What do you make of them?"

"Gotta be Nazis, all white crew...but this plane, it has pre-Nazi America markings."

"Take them to the warehouse, plane included."

The outsiders take the Enola Gay and the crew out of the field and into their warehouse, unaware of the Ghost lying in wait as they are moved.

Meanwhile, Barbara, Juno and the Old Guard have fully woken up and made the same discovery. Nazis controlled America.

"We could try and make it Liberty Base, but with Nazis in charge, I doubt we'll get far, so for now everyone inside the farmhouse." said Barbara.

Juno helped some of the Old Guard inside, she noticed the photos were different, and that's when the sounds of a twelve-gauge shotgun loading a slug was heard.

"I thought I was clear to you Nazis, leave me..."

"Curtis?" asked Barbara

The elderly black man stepped forwards to see the wife he thought he'd lost.

"What kind of sick Nazi joke is this?"

"Curtis it's your wife, Barbara."

"Barbara was killed when the Nazis invaded, what the hell are you?"

"Curtis, I am Barbara, I swear to you."

"Let's say I do believe you, which I don't, how are you alive?"

Before either of them could speak Juno spoke up.

"We must have crossed world, the yield of the bomb must have mixed with something at Area 51, Barbara, you said Curtis was killed when the old US Government turned on us, and Curtis, you said Barbara was killed by the Nazis. That means the only reason we can all exist here, is because the versions of us in this world, are dead."

Curtis lowered his gun. "Temporal Fracturing. They told us it wasn't possible. So, you are telling the truth, you are Barbara."

"Yes, just not the one killed by the Nazis."

"That would make sense as to why you knew where the spare key was. Now everyone come inside, before the Nazis decide to come sniffing around here."

Back with the Enola Crew, they had woken up to their hands tied and guns pointed at them.

"Who are you?"

"What SS group do you belong to? Name and rank now!"

"Hey...Ghost? Now would be a great time to say hello?"

"Ghost? Spirits aren't real?"

"Wanna bet?" said the Ghost dropping of the Enola Gay's open bomb bay, the BFPA-100 glistening in the rays of sunshine peeking through the cracks in the roof.

"That's gotta be nazi armor."

"Nope, American, now let my crew go you nazis."

"Wait..." a voice spoke up over the others. "You think we're Nazis, and We think you're Nazi Spies. Something isn't adding up."

"Who are you?"

"My name is Sadie, waitress over at the New Spot Diner."

"My title is The Ghost of Ottawa."

"That can't be, The Ghost of Ottawa..."

"Was black?" chimed in Jarrin.

The Ghost removes his helmet to reveal his face.

"Okay, you're absolutely not a Nazi, but then, who are you working for?"

"I am the Commander of America, how are Nazis in charge, we defeated them after establishing the New American Empire."

"Shit Sadie, maybe that shit old Curtis was going on about.."

"Shush."

"Wait Curtis, you mean Barbara's husband?"

They all exchange looks, then Sadie speaks up.

"What's the last thing you remember?'

"We were laying siege to Area 51 and I dropped a nuke."

"Who were you fighting?"

"Space men from the moon."

"Nazis were the only ones to set foot on the moon, so Old Curtis was right, Temporal whatever is possible."

The Ghost looked around as the others stood down and untied the Enola crew. "Well, if we're not in our home timeline, what the hell did that nuke do?"

Everyone looked at the Ghost who had dropped the nuke, be even he was confused as to how they had ended up in the scenario.
