Voyage through the void

I am relaxing. Not in my home or my parents's home. I am relaxing in my spaceship.

As I mentioned or I was informed that both Aera and Aegis will develop their own consciousness. So once they developed it, I introduced them to the team. And well, they could merge together to make a spaceship.

This is the conversation I had with them at the time.

"Aera, is it really okay for you guys to merge together?"

"Well, it normally is. Although our creator did not make us to be more than just a gun and a staff but since you are our master, you can make us do anything." (Aera)

"But a gun and a staff merging together to make a spaceship is weird!"

"No. It's probably you who are weird. You have the power to do anything you imagine and desire. Since we are directly connected to you, we can borrow a bit of your power and do some things on our own." (Aera)

"Yes. For the longest of times I have wanted to serve you directly, master. Now I can do that even if it's just transportation work." (Aegis)

"I see. Then, go ahead. I won't stop you."

And so it happened. They actually took the shape of a spaceship after merging and it was big. It could house 50 people easily. It's that big.

Our crew is the same as usual. Me, Hazel, Aura and Eden with Fay. I asked all of them before leaving earth.

"Hazel, I know what your answer will be for my question but, will you go with me, to Fay's home planet?"

"I will master. It is a given. I will never leave your side." (Hazel)

I knew she would say something like that.

Then I asked Aura. Well, to be honest, I don't know what she'll say. But I would be happy if she stays with me.

"Aura, will you come with me?"

At first, she just blankly stared at me and then sighed.

"When I said that I was your wife, I meant it. I am not a woman who just leaves her man. Besides, you are the father of my daughter. Obviously I will go with you." (Aura)

"I see. That makes me happy. If you had said no, I would have respected your decision but I would have been depressed for a long time. I wouldn't have been able to see Eden either."

"Papa, me and mama will always be with you." (Eden)

Ahh….my angel just said something so nice. Ahh…. I can't even say it.

Last is Fay. Well, I was going to give her a ride back home so I won't ask her anything. Let's test it out.

"And for you, I think I know. I have to drop you off at your home anyway so for the time being, you are stuck with me."

But she glared at me.

"Clive, let me tell you something. I am not so ungrateful that I would leave you now. How could you ask that after all you have done to me? Do you think of me as an ungrateful person?" (Fay)

"It's not about gratitude. But if you wish to stay, you are welcome. I am not forcing anyone. I will respect your decisions after all. That's the best, at least I think."

My theory is simple. If you wish to stay, you can. If you wish to leave, you can. I will not force you. I am a pretty chill guy after all.

Fay was still glaring at me and Hazel is whispering something in her ears.

But then she stopped glaring at me. And even Aura and Eden joined in the little conversation.

What are they whispering?

"Anyway, let's start our preparations. We have already taken care of things. Now all we need to do is leave. And we will travel to another world. It isn't a transfer, it's transmigration."

And we started preparing and left within a week. We are in no hurry so I am actually taking it slow and we have just crossed Mars.

It's barren. Red and kinda tilted, full of holes and barren. Totally uninhabitable. That planet was named after the god of war, Mars.

"Hey Fay, do you have a god of war?"

"A god of war? We have a few but the most popular is probably Ares." (Fay)

"So it's Mars."

"No. Mars was a god who lost to Ares and was removed from the divine realm." (Fay)

"So both are different?"

"Yes. People often mix them but they are different. But why do you ask?" (Fay)

"You see that red barren planet? That's named after Mars."

"Ohhh…so you named your planets after gods!" (Fay)

"Yes. The first, Mercury. Next is Venus. Then Earth and Mars and Jupiter and Saturn and Uranus and Neptune. We have a small one named Pluto as well."

"All of them are our gods? How do you even know their names?" (Fay)

"It's a long and complicated story. Don't mind it. But I am really excited to see your world. You say that it's on the other side of the storm?"

"Yes. To be precise, that storm acts as a camouflage to the warp gate. If you go through the storm, you will initiate a warp and travel to my home world." (Fay)

"So, science fictions weren't light years away. They were right next to us."

I laugh. I will take it nice and slow because what System said before is troubling me. I will try to relax and prepare my mind for the upcoming days.
