On top a snowing mountain, a young man possibly 17 years old was seen slashing his sword towards a wolf whose skin was pitch black like that of an abyss. The sword landed on its head cutting through like a hot knife on butter, and blood soon started dripping from it neck.

"Nice work, Ryan." A young man and a young girl walk towards him. He had a short spiky blue hair and wore a plain green t shirt with a black pants while a pair of boots reinforced with copper, while the woman had a long wavy black hair with a blue jacket and long pants with the same material as the jacket and a pair of boots reinforced with steel.

"Thanks" He nodded as he continued walking deeper into the forest.

'It's just three days until the awakening, I really hope I have an aptitude for magic this time.' Ryan let out a long sigh.

"I am really sorry you are held back since you are helping me." Said the woman with the wavy black hair.

"It's fine. I think Ryan really wanted to come to improve in his training, you don't really need to blame yourself." The guy suddenly stopped her from apologizing as he tried comforting her.

"…" Ryan only watched the guy's action in silence before gesturing the two to come forward.

"There are no monsters around this area, I think we should go deeper." The guy turned to Ryan with a smile.

"But that's where magical beasts reside, I don't think any of us are able to kill a magical beast." Said the girl with wavy hair.

"It's fine. If we are careful enough we won't encounter a magical beast we can't escape from." The guy said.

Deciding not to think more about it, Ryan agreed. The three of them walked deeper into the dark forest with Ryan ahead and the two behind.

After walking for about two minutes, loud noise echoed in their surroundings, alarming the whole forest. Even birds flew to the sky as if something big was about to happen.

Ryan glanced at his surroundings before finding the ground shaking.

"W-W-What is happening, why is the ground shaking." The girl panicked as her face turned pale as she unconsciously leaned on the boy next to her.

If it were before, the boy would have comforted her and hugged her, but the shaking ground made his legs go limp. It took all his energy and will just to stand.

Ryan gritted his teeth as soon as he found that the sound grew closer and closer. He turned around then yelled "Run!"

Out of instinct, the two turned around and began running. No matter how they ran, they needed to go as fast as possible to avoid what was coming their way.

Even Ryan followed right behind them and soon caught up. He turned his head to looked at what was behind and he couldn't help but be surprised.

Trees were falling down one after another because of a strange creature. It looked like the wolf he fought earlier but this one was taller. It's fur were red in colors signifying the elemental affinity. It's height was about six feet tall with the width about half of that number.

"T-T-That is a flaming wolf! The leader of the wolf we killed earlier! It's a magical beast at peak 1-star realm." Ryan exclaimed in surprise.

About thousands of years ago, Strange phenomena started occurring when 'mana' came to earth with about 75% of humanity being able to use mana.

The mana changed the structure of the human world forever unlocking what was commonly known as 'dungeon'.

Out of curiosity, humans checked these 'dungeon' only to find themselves transported to a strange place. It was a completely different world. A world human couldn't have imagined.

All countries around the world had two 'dungeon', with one being low level and another high level. Humans brought their guns, tanks, and even fighter jets to explore this new place. But upon entering they were attacked by monsters known as 'magical beasts'. Their weaponry were able to fight them, but it turned out these monsters were only of the lowest of the lowest.

As soon as the strong monsters appeared, they exterminated the entire armed force from humanity. Humans that once stood on top of the food chain fell to the bottom.

However, humanity didn't entirely leave with an empty hand. They discovered that their body evolved when they killed monsters turning the whole situation into a game-like world.

What made people surprised was that with the addition of superpowers known as blessing, people started receiving strange voice in their head, introducing themselves as some sort beings. It was then categorized into ten: 1-star, 2-star, 3-star, 4-star, 5-star, 6-star, 7-star, supreme, mythical, God. With only about 10% of the world received blessings.

They later realized that the ranking was completely the same as the monsters in the 'dungeon'. People could lift a huge boulder or even destroy a skyscraper with this power. The humans then united and returned to 'dungeon' once again, finding that the most primitive fighting skills that were almost forgotten in modern society could be combined with the power coming from 'dungeon' to create something more powerful.

The Martial Arts society united and was reinstated, creating a school for many who aspired to be a strong fighter in the 'dungeon'. The stronger you were, the more respected you were in the eyes of society. It

became a popular belief, and many people joined the school, trying to change their fate.

Of course, most didn't survive in this 'dungeon'. The horrible creatures that resided in this 'dungeon' murdered many people, but some succeeded in life and became famous.

Ryan White was also one of the aspiring people that wanted to change his fate. Unfortunately, he fell into a situation where people got killed by monsters. To survive, the only way to do it was to run.

It was this moment the event that turned his life around took place.

"Aggh!" Ryan tripped on a rock sticking out of the ground. He tried to get up but no avail

Alas, all it took was about two seconds for the flaming wolf to catch up with them.

Ryan then sensed the wolf's presence behind him, it's eyes gazing on as that of a predator looking at a prey. He instinctively slashed with his sword towards its neck. The wolf struck the sword with it's teeth snapping it into two.

Just as the wolf was about to kill him, blood spurted out of the guy's neck, at the last moment he moved to save Ryan from getting killed, thereby resulting in getting his neck chopped off.
