"Who...who the fuck are you?" Crystet asked with fear, trying to back away, but he couldn't as his injuries were pretty bad. "I am Aaron's Soul, or at least the embodiment of it. You also have a thing like me in your Soul, although it hasn't become real yet." Aaron's Soul ominously stated, confusing both Aaron and Crystet. "What do you mean by it hasn't become real, Soul?" Aaron asked, a confused look on his face.
"I mean what I said." Aaron's Soul bluntly replied. "He has something like me in his Soul, but it hasn't gained consciousness yet. Since Aaron is Boundless, I was awakened, and I am the trigger to his psychotic side. I basically just give him the power to do what he wants. You also have that, but I assume you aren't Boundless, and that's why your Soul isn't influencing your actions. Think of it as a type of freedom." Soul explained as Crystet just looked at Aaron's left side of his face in confusion. He didn't understand what was going on, but he just couldn't keep his consciousness up anymore, so he left himself fall unconscious as Aaron looked down at his body, smiling in relief. "At least he didn't try to push himself any further than he was able to go." Aaron sighed as Soul spoke to Aaron.
"Listen, this little exchange was a one-time thing to save yourself with. If you try to summon the corruption again without it being a life or death situation, I shall take over your body for five minutes. Now, that could help or hinder you, so think before you summon me again. Would it be worth spending the effort to use me, or do you just want the added shock factor?" Soul ominously warned Aaron before the corruption retracted, all of it going back into his eyes as if it was an entry and exit point. Aaron held his hand up to his eye, as it wasn't a pleasant sensation, having to feel something go back up your tear ducts. Aaron felt the last of the corruption peel away from his skin and re-enter his eyes, and he took his hand down, his eyes returned to normal. "Much better," Aaron whispered to himself, realising that he, for once, was actually tired. "Jesus. I haven't felt this tired since that two-nighter I pulled at work when I was starting out. I haven't slept at all since I went unconscious on the planet I was first corrupted on." Aaron realised, his body getting a bit sluggish.
[You may be powerful, but going for so long without sleeping? It's madness. Even gods need to sleep. You may not have a brain, but you still need to sleep every once in a while.] Memica explained, shocked at Aaron's lack of sleep. He didn't know how he was still awake, but he was slowly losing consciousness as fatigue began to take over his body. He didn't even feel the blade slipping into his chest, his body falling to the ground, a hole in his chest where his heart would've been. The man he had knocked away was back, and he had pulled his sword out of Aaron's chest.
Seph, the Hero, got up on one leg, holding himself up with his sword that he's always had on him. He may have been possessed by None, but they work in simultaneous control. None was currently in control, and he had no idea what he was doing. "I have no idea how to work this thing, but let's go at it!" He yelled, running towards it, None slowly becoming black and pink, like corruption. He was a part of Aaron, after all. It only made sense that he could be corrupted, even if it was a lesser degree. It was just a way to make him stronger temporarily. None swung the blade, colliding with the man's katana, creating a shower of sparks above Aaron's asleep body. "The Hero?! Why the fuck are you siding with monsters?!" The man yelled, only now recognising the features on Seph's face. "You don't realise, do you? Some monsters have their own wills as well, like us humans!" Seph yelled, None continuing his sentence. "I'm going to ensure that everything succeeds in the end! Aaron is the only one of us brave enough to try to create peace between humans and monsters, so we're going to support him!" None exclaimed as the two spoke one sentence in unison as their blades clashed in the air.
"Bear witness to the strength of a human and a monster working together!" They yelled, their speed increasing dramatically as their attacks began to speed up rapidly alongside them, becoming a blur that the white-haired man could barely block again. "This is the power that comes from an attack of unison!" None and Seph yelled, their abilities combining, becoming the same, as the white-haired man failed to dodge one of the attacks, allowing Seph and None to attack. "Combination Attack! Star-Shattering Illusion!" They yelled, their sword covered in illusions of shattered stars. The blade hit the white-haired man in the chest, and the area around them turned into an illusion of space.
None and Seph rose up into the air, their right arm pointed towards the sky, as the illusion of a thousand stars flew towards him. They pointed at the man, and all he could do was stare at his oncoming fate, realising he was fucked. That was until the stars passed through him, and he realised that everything was an illusion. He laughed, and it was during this time when None and Seph appeared behind him. They were brandishing both their sword and the man's katana, and with a smile, they sliced the white-haired man five times with each blade, imitating a star on his body, and it ended up looking as if a ten-point star had been carved into his body. None smiled, using the kashira of the katana to his advantage, hitting the centre of the cuts with it, sending the man flying black, blood flying from every gash.
"Thanks for the sword. I might use this again." None smiled, brandishing the sword with a smile. "Who knows? I might need to use this for another attack."
