A humanoid figure made of electricity descended from the sky like an unknown god. "Come on, Raiken! Let's show this damn skeleton what you can do!" Mitch yelled, Raiken letting a bolt of electricity fly at Aaron. The lightning-like strike hit Aaron's left arm, one of the bones in it, leaving a small mark, but Aaron didn't notice it. "Aaron, we may be slightly out of our league here," Coranth told Aaron, causing Aaron to look at him with a blank expression. Aaron walked over to Coranth before bending down to speak into his ear. "Tell me to corrupt myself, Coranth. Then I can instil fear into Mitch and his fake god-like familiar." Aaron whispered to Coranth before walking back to his original position. "Well, it's worth a shot," Coranth said to himself before pointing at Raiken.
"Aaron! Corrupt yourself!" Coranth yelled. In response, Aaron's eyes vanished from his vision, the black void behind his floating irises flowing from his skull. The Corruption covered his body, creating an essence that it could surround itself with as Mitch looked on in horror. Aaron finished Corrupting himself, looking entirely like Soul. "Ah, that's much better," Aaron said, his voice and Soul's voice moulded together. "I can finally do something impressive." Aaron/Soul commented, lifting up Tsuyukagiri and pointing it at Mitch. "You. Watch this. Your god is nothing more than electricity to me." Aaron/Soul told him, a smile appearing on his Corrupted face. Aaron/Soul walked up to Raiken, his sword pointed at the 'god' of electricity. Aaron/Soul activated GHOUL since he could still use it. He knew that he wouldn't be able to hit Raiken with a normal attack.
Raiken threw a bolt of electricity at Aaron/Soul, sending ripples across his Corrupted body. Aaron/Soul stopped moving for a second, almost as if he was paralysed, but the moment after he did, he vanished from everyone's vision. He had a nasty habit of hiding himself in teleportation. Raiken, Coranth and Motch all looked around the arena in confusion, but that's when they struck. Raiken quickly turned around, using his humanoid body of electricity to increase his reaction speed, but it was too late to plan out a course of action. Aaron and Soul split into two different people. A version of Aaron, augmented by Corruption, and Soul, made entirely out of Corruption. Aaron had been altered by giving him Corrupted legs and a Corrupted eye, allowing him to hit Raiken harder if he kicked him.
Aaron attacked using Tsuyukagiri, while Soul used his claws, both affected by GHOUL. This was so that the attacks could land. However, this was a double-edged sword. Aaron and Soul would be hit by Raiken with a quicker impact. Essentially, as a result of hitting Raiken, Raiken would use his attacks with a much stronger damage outcome. Raiken could use electricity, and what was electricity known for doing? Disintegrating things. If a body is destroyed, that's something not even Aaron could survive. After all, even though he's survived having his mind split in two, if there's nothing left to piece back together, their adventure on this planet would end here. Aaron and Soul knew this. However, they were still going to find a way to beat the shit out of Mitch's familiar, Raiken.
Aaron and Soul took turns dealing blows to Raiken, who seemed unable to guess where they'd be attacking from next. Aaron flung an attack at Raiken when he heard a voice fly out. "Raiken! Attack them!" Mitch yelled in anger, Raiken suddenly disappearing. Aaron let his attack continue, but the second he did, Raiken appeared. He had turned himself into lightning. Raiken threw a quick yet powerful punch at Aaron, the electricity rippling through the air. Aaron jumped over it, his shoe barely tipping off Raiken's hand. However, that was enough coverage for the electricity, sending Aaron into the air, electrified. Soul rushed towards Raiken, using his hands in a flurry of quick slashes to keep Raiken at bay. Raiken responded with a fast succession of blocks, stopping Soul from landing any powerful blows, slightly electrocuting him each time. Soul stored that electricity in his body, using it in his attacks to counter large amounts of Raiken's lightning at once.
Aaron descended from the sky, Tsuyukagiri in his hand, a purple aura surrounding it. Soul jumped backwards, confusing Raiken as to the sudden back-away. "Raiken! Move out of the way!" Mitch yelled, but it was too late. Aaron's sword pierced through Raiken, creating a shine of bright light as it went through, freezing Raiken in place. It was almost as if he had been frozen in time. "As the curtain falls on an ending play, so does the sword on the bodies of the unworthy," Aaron said out loud, creating it as he went. Soul tapped Raiken on the forehead, sending him backwards slightly. A second flash struck through Raiken, and a third, along with a fourth. Ten Thousand Telekinetic Strikes had been activated, meaning that this was the end of the fight. Raiken's body lit up like a lightbulb, the thousands of attacks overlapping with each other. "You...you defeated him. You...defeated Raiken." Mitch said to himself in disbelief as Soul and Aaron combined, turning back into a skeleton. "Aaron. I have no words." Coranth simply stated. Aaron performed a bow.
'Now I can say I had a nice fight while I was here.' Aaron said to himself in his head, feeling rather pleased with himself. "Mitch, you lost. Now, you said you'd create one of the devices used to make this arena for me. I would like to pick you up on your offer if you wouldn't mind." Coranth reminded Mitch, the arena fading away, bringing back the office they were in before.
"I..." Mitch started, but he lost his voice halfway through his argument. He had believed that he would have won easily. "I lost to a skeleton. That's gonna be embarrassing to tell the lads." Mitch said to himself before listening to Coranth. "Oh, yeah. I'll make the device for you, and I'll even create a custom arena for you. Not the base model. After all, besting me in a battle of familiars is something that hasn't happened in a long time." Mitch told them, sitting back down at his desk. "Uril. You stood idly by in that battle, so what would you rate Aaron Stone as a familiar?" Mitch asked uril, who had been peacefully watching the match. "Well, Raiken is an S-rank familiar, so it's only fair that we put Aaron at the same ranking," Uril commented.
"Well then. It appears our decision has been made. Aaron Stone is now an S-rank familiar, and Coranth, by association, is an S-class Familiar Summoner." Mitch told the pair, causing Coranth to smile. "Well, I never expected my day to go like this, but I'm happy," Coranth stated as Aaron took up a confident pose behind him.
'And I'm an S-rank familiar on this planet. Never expected my day to go like this either.' Aaron said to himself, reckoning that this was quite an eventful day.
