Skelengel; Tales Of The Boundless One [Not Updating]

When the universe creates a person, they are bestowed with certain traits that we, as mere humans, are aware of. Sportiness, the ability to work with computers, and creativity are all things we may obtain at creation. However, some of those talents extend far past the mortal realm of flesh and blood. They go all the way to your very soul, and these are the ones that we cannot see. These few are destined to become Boundless. And it just so happens that one was designated to die on the fateful day a new god took sight over the earth. This is the tale of Aaron Stone, the once businessman turned planetary traverser. Aided by himself and his potential, he plans to live out his life with peace of mind. However, the universe has it out for him, and it won't let him ever have true peace. However, someone from behind the shadows controls everything, and they have quite a distaste for Aaron Stone. They will try to make his life a living hell. Everything you read here is an account of something going on in the vast universe. Hell, who knows... It may even be YOU who takes his place in the future. Permission to Kill

Aaron spun around, his body slightly bent to avoid any possible attack. He had anticipated this happening, and he was prepared. Aaron watched as the blade barely passed by his chest and used his spinning momentum to deliver a punch with incredible power. His fist impacted against Ronin's unexpecting face, sending him backwards and down into the ground. Oki hadn't expected this, as he looked at Ronin in shock.

They were still in Oki's makeshift house, meaning that Ronin was sent into the walls, causing the house to crumble to dust. Aaron watched as the roof began to fall on top of them, but instead of letting the roof go to waste, he decided to use it for something. Aaron used Boundless Telekinesis to teleport the roof directly over their heads. He was using the roof as a makeshift umbrella or shield. It was a way to make use of their surroundings.

Aaron waited for all the debris to settle before letting the roof hit the ground. Oki ran over to Ronin, checking to see if he was still alive. Unfortunately, Ronin was and still wanted to kill Aaron. He just had to figure out how. "Ronin, one word of advice. You can't use usual assassination methods on me, so try to think outside of the box when you're trying to kill me. Maybe you'll find an attack that can end me." Aaron hinted towards Ronin, giving him permission to try any killing attempts he wanted.

"Aaron, why would you let him attack you? After all, all he wants is to hurt you." Sciat asked Aaron, finally coming back from his quick disappearance. "Well, I want to see what he can do me. After all, we've seen one ability that can kill me, and I know I can kill myself, but what about other abilities? I want to see something else that can theoretically end my life. That way, I'll know how much I have to manually protect myself." Aaron explained, curious about what Ronin was going to do. After all, he now had permission to kill Aaron, so of course, he was going to use it.

"Plus, I think he may be just a little angry at me for hurting and humiliating him. Look at that angry face he has on him." Aaron pointed out, taking note of Ronin's current expression, similar to that of an angry toddler. Aaron couldn't help but chuckle at his face as Ronin stood up, collecting himself. He had never been humiliated like this before, as he had been Boundless for almost all of his life. If there was a problem in his way, Ronin had used brute force to get around it or resort to strategic thinking. However, he had tried using such tricks on Aaron, but to no avail. It was like Aaron was this wall that stood in the way between him and his happiness, and that wall wasn't going to fall any time soon. "I don't like this plan. After all, we're much too vulnerable to attacks while supervised by this lunatic. Think about what you're doing for a minute, will you?" Ronin tried to convince Oki, really not wanting to be around Aaron.

"I have, Ronin. I have been thinking about this since you were knocked to the ground, and I have come to the conclusion that we'll be much more protected under Aaron's guidance. Think about it like this. If Aaron really wanted us dead, he could just target us from his city anyways, and he wouldn't even think twice about it. If we live in Aaron's Kingdom of monsters, we'll be much more protected from the outside forces that could potentially harm us. There are really no disadvantages to us living in his Kingdom, so why don't we take it? Do you simply dislike Aaron and his group of friends that badly since they embarrassed you?" Oki asked Ronin, embarrassing him even further. He turned his head away from everyone, giving them the answer they expected from him.

"Well, I kind of expected this to happen, so if you want to stay behind, then you can, but I'm going with them. There are too many tactical advantages we'll miss out on if we don't, so if you want to let your personal distaste for them take control of your life, then, by all means, do so. However, I'm travelling with Aaron, so you have your options. Feel free to let me know if you want to come with us." Oki coldly responded, shocking even Aaron. "Damn. Honestly, I'm surprised how you're handling this, so congratulations, you have just moved up in the world. Welcome to the circle. This is your official entry into the Kingdom's and our own projects and plans for the future, so I do hope you enjoy your time around us." Aaron announced, lightly tapping Oki on the back while ensuring that he didn't increase his power level. He didn't want to send the poor child flying forwards.

Ronin was left speechless, unable to process what he had just heard. It was either travel with the person who saved him or let his own personal feelings towards Aaron take the better of him. In his heart, he knew which option he was choosing, and it was a painful one for him to make, but he knew that it had to be done.

"I'm not travelling with you. I'm going solo. If we ever cross paths in the future, we are no longer allies. Just strangers. Should we meet on a battlefield, we will be enemies. This is the one thing I will make clear. Now, I will leave you two to your business. However, if I ever see you guys, you will be slain on the spot. I believe I have made myself clear. Now, I bid you goodbye, and I hope that Aaron's travels are less than pleasant." Ronin responded before sprinting off, getting hundreds of kilometres away in less than a second.

"He was a forceful opponent. I do hope that I never see him again, though." Aaron commented before he turned his head to look at Oki. "So, shall we head off? We have teleportation to start, after all."

Is that the last we'll see of Ronin? Probably not.
