Aaron looked upon his body as the black goop slowly slid away from his body. He was unsure of what was going on for a second, but then he realised what had happened. Aaron had his Boundless Telekinesis taken away for twelve hours, and then N had infested his body. He couldn't feel a presence in his mind anymore. That meant that N was forcefully kicked out by the system. Aaron saw his hands return to being human as his body finally returned to its original human state.
[Wow. That was an eventful twelve hours. I just sat back and watched you improve without my help for twelve hours. There are still twelve hours until I get my administrator privileges back, but in the meantime, I have to congratulate you on your persistence. You worked around having your abilities taken. Now, should we deliver Alec what he deserves?] Memica asked, scaring Aaron by the sheer suddenness of her speaking, but it slowly grew to relief. He had thought that Memica wouldn't be able to speak at all, but he was happy with what he had been presented with. So, N wasn't actually a bad guy, but just curious. He had given Aaron access to the Boundless System, something HE didn't have in the first place. All for his own protection.
'Hey, Memica! Glad to see you weren't dead! I'm going to try something new if you don't mind me experimenting with an attack?' Aaron explained as a blue ball of light appeared in his hand. Alec laughed at Aaron's pitiful magic ball, watching as Aaron began to concentrate. He wanted this to work. Aaron poured some more energy, but this time Aaron infused it with a bit of God Eater. He had an idea. Alec watched as the orb slowly began to turn black, and he was confused. Aaron looked up, his eyes shining red. He was intent on damage, so to accentuate the point, he increased his power level even further, going to 2.7B in his power. Aaron smiled, swinging his arm backwards. Just as he was going to throw the ball, he teleported, and Alec knew what was about to happen. Aaron appeared behind Alec, swinging the ball of black energy at Alec. A large explosion erupted from the ball, creating a cloud of black smoke. Aaron couldn't see his way through it, but the smoke quickly cleared, revealing a cyan barrier around Alec.
"You really made me use it, huh?" Alec laughed, grabbing Aaron before he could realise what was going on. "You made me use Equaliser, my ultimate defensive ability. Everyone who is touched by me becomes the exact same power level as me for five minutes. Even if they are weaker than I am. This means that it's best to use it when I'm fighting someone stronger than myself." Alec explained, yelling loudly enough for Barold to hear. He rushed towards the destroyed city of Spert with the intent of using his family technique on Alec.
The Kamikazee Technique.
"It's the only way to kill him when Equaliser is activated. The only way!" Barold kept telling himself. He rushed up to Alec, who was currently floating just four meters above the ground. Barold needed to jump his exact height to make the connection between himself and Alec. Barold bent his legs, preparing to make the leap with all the strength he had. His legs shot downwards, and he propelled himself upwards. His fingers were so close, but it appeared that they had missed by just a millimetre, and he fell back down the ground with a devasted look on his face. He'd surely been noticed by Alec, and he would die.
Barold landed on the ground and looked at his hand in disbelief as he watched his veins bulge out like his skin was shrinking. He watched as his arm turned jagged, spikes shooting out from his elbow. The sharp edges turned an orange colour, and he realised what it was hinting to. Oh, he was going to enjoy using this.
Barold placed his arm down onto the ground, bending it as he planned to do something crazy with it. His own little take on the kamikaze technique. He had power his predecessors never had, and he was going to use it for the short time he could. He unbent his arm, sending him flying upwards into the air, backflipping for half the journey. He looked at Alec and put his arm in front of him, aiming it at Alec's head. "Hey! Monster! Eat this!" Barold yelled, his arm creating something similar to rocket fumes. His whole body shot forward, as he was unaffected by his speed and the rocket propulsion moving him. Alec looked him directly in the eyes and only had enough time to register what he was seeing before Barold made his way into Alec's original mouth. Alec began grasping at his neck, but it was too late. Barold had entered and had gotten down his throat.
"Barold!" Aaron yelled out, waiting for the inevitable to happen. Barold had told him what the family technique was, and he couldn't use Telekinetic Psychobreak on Alec, for they were equal in power. Inside Alec's stomach, Barold smiled, letting out a tear of joy. It was the end of his bloodline. He didn't have a wife or kids, so he might as well go out with a bang.
Aaron heard an explosion from Alec as an orange flame burst from his insides, searing his skin. Alec looked on in horror as he fell to the ground. An innocent person had taken his own life for the good of his world. That was commitment. Aaron couldn't help but hold Barold in high respect. Hopefully, the gods would be kind to him. Aaron wanted to be the one to judge him, but first, he had to deal with Alec. Aaron broke free from the now uncontrolled tentacles, as Alec's head was the only thing left. He landed on the ground, the effects of Equaliser still in place. Aaron looked upon the head of Alec, who had another card up his sleeve. Well, in his head, as he wasn't wearing sleeves.
"What's got you so smug, Alec? You just let an innocent man kill himself! He had done nothing wrong, and all you can do is smile!" Aaron yelled out, getting angrier and angrier as he continued speaking. "I was once like you. I used to love watching people kill themselves, and now that I'm looking at it from this perspective, I can see how much of an asshole I was back then. Tell me, what surprises do you have in store for me today? Another way to kill thousands of people?" Aaron yelled, trying to kick Alec in the skull.
Alec just laughed as a message popped up in Aaron's field of view. Reading it made Aaron's skin crawl. 'This fucker...'
{Due to health loss, Alec Benjamin's ability [Eternity] is in effect. He can no longer be killed unless someone takes their life alongside his. They must forgive him for his actions and take him along with them to the great beyond. He can't be reverted to his original form either, for his power is too high.}
"You son of a bitch! You have an ability that makes it impossible for me to save you!" Aaron yelled as his foot hit an invisible barrier. He couldn't get revenge for Barold, so he needed to do something to stop his feelings.
'System, I need you to hide my memory from me for the next minute. I need you to just give me the ability to kill myself. You know what'll happen if I don't.' Aaron told the system.
[Understood. I'll see you in the stars.]
Aaron closed his eyes and slowly felt his memory being pulled away, the black goop covering his parents included. After five seconds, he opened his eyes and hugged the enlarged head of Alec. "Join me." Aaron simply stated as a pink spike appeared behind him. "I forgive you, even though I don't know what you've done. Everybody deserves forgiveness."
The spike stabbed Aaron straight through the stomach, causing him to let out a scream of pain, but when it hit Alec, there was no scream of pain. He didn't even have the chance to react as his body was immediately shut off by the effects of Eternity. His head lay still against
Monument finally saw the city from the horizon and continued sprinting to the destroyed landscape. He could see a large head lying on the ground and a corpse beside it. Aaron must have accidentally hit them while killing the monster. He jumped the final stretch of the way and landed beside the corpse, a smile on his face. "Hey, Aaron! You impressed...me..." Monument exclaimed before his eyes were drawn to the corpse. It was Aaron. "Aaron...? Are you alive?" Monument asked before taking a look at his torso. The giant hole in his torso suggested otherwise.
Aaron was dead, and there was nothing he could do about it. That was until a message appeared in his vision.
{Hello, Monument? Would you like to go visit Aaron?}
{All you have to do is press yes, and become my henchman. What do you say?}
{Yes} {No}
