Aaron let Yua and Light run off into the horde of monsters, watching as they destroyed everything. Light kept on pulling large rocks from the roof, and somehow coating them in a white flame, possibly due to an ability his evolution gave him. When the flaming rock hit the ground, it let out an explosion, causing monsters to fly out in multiple directions.

[Light has learned Falling Star Slam.]

Yua went running around, lacerating the monsters with her sharp nail-like weapons, as she fully extended her wings, allowing her to rush forward and attack everything.

Aaron smiled inwardly, once again, as he walked back to his cave. He put on his old set of armour, and made the scythe disappear from his hand. He, now coated in his armour, walked into the crowd, walking over to where Light was.

He reached the large Shooting Star Dragon, Light. He tapped him on the leg, while yelling.

"Hey Light! Come here! Bring Yua!"

Light appeared to be sad that he couldn't kill any more monsters, but hey, Aaron would be able to see if they were able to evolve. Plus, if they evolved, he could be stronger. Even stronger than Aaron at some point.

That wouldn't be until later though.

Aaron waited inside the cave, as the monstrously large Light walked in, followed by the averaged sized Yua. The height difference between the pair was staggering, with a difference of just over seven meters. Seriously, it was a shocking difference.

"You wanted us here, Aaron?", Yua asked, curious as to why she was pulled away from killing monsters.

"Hey. How about we go down to the second floor? It should be able to give us more Exp."

Light and Yua just looked shocked at the thought of him producing that idea, which he did.

"That's suicide, Aaron! Monsters on the second floor are much different than the ones here!"

"And you are talking to a skeleton who literally wields light magic, has a pair of glowing yellow wings, and as able to not take any damage here. I think we'll be fine. And just to make it easily accessible for us..."

Aaron lifted up his hand, as his eye glowed a bright purple.

"Ground! Mold!"

The ground infront of them began to glow purple, as a wide staircase began to form, leading downwards.

"That's our ticket down there, and our ticket back up! Useful, isn't it?"

At this point, Yua and Light weren't surprised that he'd do something like that. They weren't able to change his mind, and when he was like that, he was just going to do what he had set his mind to at the beginning. Go down to the second floor.

Aaron began to walk down to the second floor, as his armour clanked while he walked down the rocky stairs. Aaron made the stairs with Light in mind, so Light was able to move up and down without much restriction.

Aaron's wings gave off a small amount of light, but once they reached the ground, all they could see was darkness. They didn't know if a monster was in there.

A light lit up infront of him, as two lights beside it flickered on, like a cinematic entrance. It was.

Aaron looked behind him, as a being made of pure shadow stood before him. The being was around five meters tall, meaning it was over double Aaron's height.

Great, he had skipped the second floor entirely, and made it to the third floor. This wasn't going to end well. For which party? It was to be decided. A group of demons rushed out of the area. These were the officials. Aaron had been the signal of instigation of war, and nobody even planned for it.

The area around him light up fully, as he realised he was in luxurious throne room. He smiled, and this time, it even looked like his skeleton was smiling.

"Light, Yua. You go deal with the other demons. This one is mine."

Light and Yua nodded their approval, and ran out, Light shaking the ground as he left. Aaron splayed his hand, as a scythe appeared. In his armour, he looked like a human wearing a suit of armour, which was understandable.

Aaron rushed behind the Shadow Being, but it disappeared before he could perform a slash. It grabbed him by the chest, and flung him into the wall of the building, sending jolts of energy through his body.

He was going to have fun fighting this person.

On the surface, shit was going down.

The towns were being burnt to the ground, as flames spread from house to house. People were dying left and right. The demon royalty were making their way to the large kingdoms, and started by exploding the walls of the Tetronia Kingdom, sending fear throughout the population.

How were they on the surface? Well, the demons had a portal inactive for centuries. They had been told to activate and use it once The Shadow Emperor had given the word.

Light and Yua had exited through that portal aswell, and were currently on the surface, in the middle of a town named Folka. Demons ran rampant, at least, until they say Light and Yua. They then realised Yua was a demon.

"Why are you helping the humans?!", one of them screamed at her.

"Because I'm a decent person. Also, I serve another person. Someone you couldn't hope to defeat."

"They shall not beat our Lord! None can defeat him!"

This was that demons last words before he was disintegrated by Light and his Falling Star Slam. This was the start of a war, and nobody shall escape it. Humans, monsters, demons. They all share one common trait, found in them all.

They want everything for themselves. They will do anything to get what they want, and will not stop until they get it.

This is why this war is starting. The fact that the demons lost the last war against humans also played a role in this war aswell.
